Bitcoin because XRP majority is owned by team so maybe they can dump it
It has stated on the whitepaper that the team has owned a lot of premined ripple coin. They have stated on the whitepaper that they will try to dump it regularly. A lot of ripple coins will have started to be dumped to the market in the future because the team needs money for nothin.

I think they are very different currencies that I don't think we should buy, maybe you could compare bitcoin vs. litecoin, that would provide some discussion, right now we can make a financial comparison, and I can say that although bitcoin will always be a safe bet, I think that ripple also has an incredible potential, especially when the negotiations with the banks are over.

For me I choose Bitcoin , probably Ripple has a high potential compared to Bitcoin but I think Bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrency in the market for future run .

Bitcoin was an established cryptocurrency since from the start, and if you have to compare ripple to bitcoin it has really a huge gap when it comes to adoption and usage. The demand hasn't gone that high when it comes to trading and spending, specially when it's used with gambling and online buying. Businesses like trading is the usual spending of bitcoin and unlike ripple it just depend on the trading aspects and not the whole world was educated about it.

I know i already made up my mind when came across with this topic because i always settle for the one that's very promising and the most dominant crypto in the cryptoworld. I choose bitcoin than ripple though i have them both in my portfolio because i know bitcoin will always be the icon of cryptos in the future.

Very ockward too seeing Ripple compete with Bitcoin, Really! First of all there is a two much difference in price of both coins. Rest is the history, so i will definitely choose Bitcoin over Ripple and why not? Bitcoin is the first and father of all crypto! I'm don't saying ripple is not a good coin but there's too much risk to invest in Ripple against Bitcoin.

I would choose Bitcoin. Ripple of course a good coin, but still Bitcoin is the number one coin, and is the most stable coin. Bitcoin is also a limited coin, which means that Its price will rise after the last bitcoin coin is mined.

Although the ripple is very good and has the potential for strong growth, Bitcoin is still the best coin in the market for me and to keep it in the long run is still the best and safest choice. Investors should have their own investment plan in order to survive and succeed in this market.

Ripple xrp is a good coin with a lot if positive potential this coin is still young and has done OK so far. But bitcoin on the other hand is the king of cryptocurrency, the most valuable coin I do not think ripple stands a chance with bitcoin

My choice would be Bitcoin. Bitcoin - even though it’s not the very first currency out there, it certainly is the most popular and successful as of now. The market cap is way above all the other ones. It is often referenced to as digital gold, sort of an asset that gained enough momentum that it will remain valuable for time to come.

Of course majority of people here will choose Bitcoin for a 2 years term investment. In that time span, bitcoin will have a great price growth rather than ripple, plus, ripple is connected to a bank, so the price is easy to be manipulated by a central power, so many people dont find ripple as a trusted coins.

Well man, you can make a statistic based on data you find on this thread of yours.

I think that Ripple is a worthy coin. Ripple is a bank cryptocurrencies and people who invest in crypto believe in decentralized project. So, i really don't think ripple can defeat  Btc.  But in this world, all is possible.

As for me, a long term investment will always be bitcoin. It is much better than a centralized, controlled by the banks ripple that is easily pump and dump. Huge supply of ripple can also affect the profitability of this investment.

Ripple is the coin that i  selected from above. there are so many news that are related with ripple those gives us positive sign above future about Ripple. But Investing huge on signal coins is somewhat risky. I think it is better if you can invest money in several coins by making your own research.

I think the choice is obvious and it's Bitcoin, I think it's more reliable and simple for the user than ripple. This is just my opinion.
both of them are potential coins, but of course the two coins have their advantages and disadvantages. well, but it looks like bitcoin is always the first choice, especially for now, where the price is promising to be higher.

Hypothetically speaking, if someone offers you $10,000 to hold in one coin, only condition is to hold it for 2 years, which coin would you choose to hold?

You can choose between only 2 coin, one is bitcoin and other one is ripple. What would you choose?
both bitcoin and ripple are good altcoin for me, but if I were to choose for the both of them, I will probably choose bitcoin than ripple. because I believe that I can earn more profit for holding bitcoin than ripple.
