if we compare ripple vs litecoin then i would prefer litecoin to invest why because litecoin is the oldest coin and have lightning speed and literacy in implementation so liteocin is preferable
I would definitely choose Ripple (xrp). I don’t have anything negative to says about Litecoin, I just think that XRP has more potential in the future. With that being said, holding XRP requires some patience to see further adoption by the banking community which will lead to growth.
I prefer Litecoin because this altcoin is mineable so everyone can to participate to mine it and this is will good for adoption of crypto, but Ripple just premined coin so only their developer can to create it.

litecoin and ripple are indeed two very good coins.
but if it still has to choose I will choose litecoin to make the investment, because if seen from the price. litecoin is better when compared to ripple
litcoin much better than ripple but when it come to investment i think ripple will be a good choice for because it is cheaper and may be profitable in the long run because it a centralized coin. just my thought though.
Ripple and litecoins are one of the coins in cryptocurrency considered as alternative coin. I think they are both profitable enough since they provide a instant income to your investment.
they both are the top altcoin and potentially in terms of profit, but I think ripples are better, because now ripples are running some progress to improve their network. I'm more interested in other altcoins like altcoin that just escaped from ico, usually cheap and can generate profits in the next few months.

Litecoin as before is not so popular because its has only very low value then suddenly it pump in crypto market and become known, thus who invest litecoin before are very lucky and its still not to late for us to invest on litecoin, ripple is also good because it was called a bankers coin, you can also invest on this coin because it was also low at this time that can also be like litecoin in the future.

I prefer litecoin than ripple because litecoin has a stable price than ripple and litecoin is better to a long-term investment.
If current trends continue, Ripple may soon surpass Litecoin and take second place in terms of market capitalization. Ripple was not the first coin that challenged Litecoin. Throughout 2014, Dogecoin, NXT and Darkcoin climbed to the third place, but each time the coin price fell earlier than it could overtake Litecoin. Nevertheless, none of the cryptocurrencies was as close as Ripple. But even if Ripple still succeeds in surpassing Litecoin, there is no guarantee that they will be able to hold this position for a long time.
I prefer Litecoin because I know that ripple at the month of January increases while the other altcoins are dropping, but for me, it's just the strategy of ripple to attract other people to invest with it. If you only observe the ripple movements today, the value of it actually dropped. Well, most of my friends keep on saying that it is a scam which seems to be true. Litecoin is a good choice of altcoin.
I personally prefer to litcoin because of the stability of the price, when the price of BTC up / down the price of strong litcoin shocks
I think the price for Ripple will not grow very much. I think for a long term it's better to invest in ltc. But I would advise you to choose other coins.

For me litecoin is good for long term investment, while ripple is good for short term investment. In essence, both have potential, but it is difficult to determine the right time to start investing for both coins.

If not for the bear market situation, xrp has more potential than litecoin any day; litecoin is a shilled coin me to me, we have many coins performing same purposes
