These are two good kinds of altcoin and they are rising to popularity in the coin market , if I were to choose among the two then I go first with ripple , is has a function and use of its own , I like ripple then to litecoin.
Both Ripple and Litecoin has been doing greatly in the market of late with litecoin even outperforming other digital currencies at some point.
between the two, which one would you invest in and why?
For me personally, I would get chosen Litecoin, they have a good team in addition to great prospects for growth.
Ripple is a centralized real-time gross settlement system, currency exchange and remittance network created by the Ripple company.And Litecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and open source software project released under the MIT/X11 license. Creation and transfer of coins is based on an open source cryptographic protocol and is not managed by any central authority.For me ripple is reliable but the one that can prove more into the crypto world is Litecoin.
I think if you want to invest long-term bitcoin is also good today, now the wave litecoin is very weak and low. but one day there will be a high bubble.

I think LiteCoin fits more optimally and instead of panic sentiment shows a stable and confident development. It's the future, don't hesitate.

Lol, both are shit coins. One is dying and another one is over priced. With not much development work happening Litecoin doesn't has a bright future and with most of its supply locked and controlled by its creators Ripple is just an overpriced coin.
Another comparison is not understandable to me, because it seems to me that such projects can not be compared at all. These are projects of different levels of trust, today probably 50% of the forum will say that the crypto currency has nothing to do with the project ripple

I do believe that litecoin has huge future. Expect price around 1500 dollars. Its strong coin. And ripple i dont like. Banks can do whatever they want with ripple. Cryptocurrency was created for decentralization, ripple control everything
For me, I will go in for ripple because it is still cheap to buy and at the same time the community and backers of ripple are lovely. I have hope for the ripple community more than that of the litecoin community.
I would choose litecoin over ripple because the main reason why i use cryptocurrencies is to eliminate the centralization of these banks,XRP is being backuped by the central banks which is not good because cryptocurrencies are created to oppose the banking system clearly this coin is doing the opposite of what satoshi nakamoto really wants.
For now, I prefer Litecoin (LTC). Because right now I hear negative issues about ripple, from the issue of using ponzi or HYIP system to scam issues.

I personally think both are great for 2018. LTC is definitely the Crypto friendly pick since most hard core people think Ripple is a joke.
