Recently i have invested in both of the above mentioned coins and earned handsome profit,i believe that you should invest in altcoins,whenever they pump up definitely they will benefit you.XRP is good for short term investment,there is many fluctuations in it,whereas LTC is an old coin and has larger community its good for long term return.Price does not matter.LTC is peer to peer currency based on decentralized concept more secure.After analyzing above i can figure out that for short term XRP is good while for long term LCT is preferred.Currently i am investing in both and i would hold these two again.
Two of the most popular coin of the crypto money world are litecoin and ripple. The graphics are now green. Ripple made new deals and the price went up even more. my favorite ripple
For me, I'd say Litecoin. Ripple seems like a joke and the fact that its circulating supply is so large makes me sick. Between the two, Litecoin is going to be better in the long run IMO and ripple is going to do just that....ripple like when a rock hits the water it creates a ripple that is short lived. I could be wrong.

Depending on the budget i will be planning which coin to choose from,there are a lot of coins and i am not having a very high bullish hope when it comes to both these coins,but with the litepay introduction the prices started rising,but there is nothing interesting coming up with ripple to have a big increase,what i will do is to invest in ripple when there is a market drop and cash back when it recovers. between the two, which one would you invest in and why?
Better choose both, because you can't compare 2 projects with different activity directions.
They are both decentralized coins and they are competing each other in the market. Investors may choose both of them have enough capital to put up but for limited only just like me, I may consider on Ripple than of Litecoin. Litecoin is getting expessive at this time but ripple is on dip, taking such advantage may give us profit once it get back soon.
Both ripple and litecoin are going great in market its now upto you if you are intrested in shortterm investment then ripple is good and if longterm then litecoin is good
Why do you compare fiat and crypto? 
If serious I`m not really trust in Ripple and I'm afraid that developers can easily drop billions of tokens into the market because of unlimited emissions.

Between Ripple and Litecoin I prefer Ripple right now. The reason is that in my opinion it is a much more solid project and with excellent future prospects compared to Litecoin, which is still a very good project
I guess LITECOIN has more chances to develop and rise up

of course I prefer Litecoin, because I know litecoin has a good team of developers not only that the projects they have are really good and make the coins they have could potentially be expensive. that's the reason I prefer litecoin.
XRP is not a cryptocurrency. It is like a digital centralized asset. It is manipulated by the bankers which has the banking system on it, which is the counter part of the decentralized cryptocurrency. Ripple is wolf in sheep's clothing. Litecoin the best!
I think also for long-term. But for speculation XRP not bad LTC. Periodically XRP is pumped. And why not use chance to be richer than yesterday? And both coins will allow to do it.

Ripple and Litecoin are really stable altcoin and many are trusted and invested in it. but for me i choose Ripple because this coin is a wave and long term investment is one of the good alt coin to invest because sometimes the value is very low, and if the value goes down so it's time to buy and definitely value will increase and you earn big.
Litecoin and Ripple both are popular altcoin but Litecoins price is so high now. I suggest you to buy Ripple and hold it in your wallet.
Ripple has the fourth largest market capitalization within the cryptocurrency space standing at 19 billion dollars. So I think Ripple is more profitable altcoin for us.

While it is impossible to give an exact time frame I can see this happening in the near future, unless we see a massive take off for Ripple, but honestly I see Litecoin going places. Perhaps it even has the potential to unseat Ethereum someday, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
The reason that I believe Litecoin will take over is that it is a superior coin for consumers. Ripple has one function, bank exchanges which gives it value, I am holding XRP, but if we want to see an everyday use coin which people can get use and pay for things with, it is going to be LTC!

Ripple is not a cryptocurrency, remember that. XRP can give you a good return but it is not worth considering as a long-term investment. Litecoin is just a good, old coin. It is not as sharp as ripple, but more reliable. So I would invest in ltc
Litecoin is an everyday used coin, almost the same as bitcoin, while ripple is just decentralized coin, to an investor, I'll suggest ripple for an investment because it's has a strong possibility of double price more than Litecoin due to their volatility.
