I don’t sell my coins before the project has launch its product. To me, it is just waiting for a period of time and your returns will be much more than selling at the beginning.
As a Bounty hunter I once made a mistake by selling tokens from Bounty that I received in a small market for $ 250. After 20 days the price of tokens that I sell is worth $ 1200. So the conclusion if you want to wait you will get maximum results. Believe every ICO project will prepare a good market in the future.
if you start a token from bounty and airdrops. then you are afraid of regrets because doing token sales is too early, so I suggest some steps to do, such as

I think selling a token or coin early is best when you get them from bounties or airfdrops have lost a lot to holding token or coin and if you buy an ico and it did pretty well after entering exchange you can sell half and keep half

Not all tokens will rise if we hodl for some time. Most token prices will fall when ICO finishes, but you need to do an analysis of the token whether it can increase again or not. If you think the token can increase again, then holding it is the best.
I absolutely agree that you should not sell tokens at once, but you just have to wait, if the project was worth it, then they will definitely rise!
In investment it really needs patience. So for you to hit your target profit you must extend your patience and hold your coin while still in red. For how much patuence you have will be tested in here.
I think,much better if we have a bounty rewards tokens already in our wallet,don't sell it immediately. We should monitor first the value of it at the given exchange. Mostly,a months after token price will increase,sell it when it reached into the desired amount.
Many tokens from ICO projects are declining after being in the market. it's not bad. just throw your luck and get the bad luck in the crypto market.

As a bounty hunter, I once did not sell tokens and then they began to cost nothing. You need to monitor the actions of the team, how it works and what it does. Only then can you decide what to do with the tokens.
On the other hand, price can drop -x2-5 during few days. So you can lose your potential USD profit. I think that there is no right strategy for bounty rewards: you can HOLD, sell everything at first day or sell 50% (another part for hold).
Selling of token at early stages is probably wrong because every Crypto industrial has a fixed price during the ICO, therefore it requires little patience to undergo road map to enable to rich the factory price.
