Ethereum is a very promising coin, and now more than 100 tokens are available and using ETH for transaction fees, but I'm not happy to put money in one place and prefer to divide into many coins like waves, NEO, ADA and so on.
I also think that by the end of 2018 Ethereum will cost so much and even more. therefore, I think it is profitable to invest in Ethereum
I noticed that ETH goes up-down very cyclically.

Of course there is a chance that you will earn a lot but just the same you can lose a lot too. Investing like that will face a big risk but it will be your decision so think wise.
I think you can buy Ethereum with 70 percent of your money. After all, you still need to maintain your life. Although Ethereum is a very good investment project, it still has a certain investment risk, so I do not recommend it. You put all your assets into Ethereum.
I agree that platform coins will be more important that payment coins such as bitcoin in the near future. There is a lot of competition in Ethereum side platform coins, we see new platform every other day and all of them are really promising coins: Eos, Ada, Wan, Ont, Neo, Qtum, Lisk, Waves, Etc.
On the other hand there is not too much progress in Bitcoin side, except Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, etc

Of course, the current price of Ethereum is still very low. I think this is a good opportunity to purchase Ethereum. Maybe soon it will want Bitcoin to erupt. Then you will miss this opportunity to make money.
No don't put all your money to buy ethereum just half of your money because you can use it for emergency. Also it not right to do because there's possible to lose your money but there's possible to grow your coin but its better if you divide it, atleast you have money to use.
All the money I would not risk investing in eth, but 70% I would have invested. The remaining 30% is better to invest in other coins.
I recommend not buying only one coin for all money, because the market is very unstable. I would invest up to 60% in ETH, the rest 40% distributed between other coins.

Yes I am agreeable that it can be very profitable to hold Eth for a year. And even in out country Eth has been regarded as one on equal footing with bitcoin as indicated in an online exchange platform.
However I would advise against investing all your money in one single coin, and imagine, ALL your money. It is a totally insane idea and a total gamble.

Buying eth for a long time is a good idea. But I would not advise investing all money only in eth.

I see that you didn't buy. You should invest a little, not all your money. Investing all is too much of a risk and a gamble. Sure you can win more, but you can just as easily lose a lot.
I think the best approach would be not to put all eggs in one basket, In my opinion, spread your investment to multiple cryptocurrencies and invest only which you can afford to lose.
