You can buy etherum but not all your money. You should keep some of your cash money for your need because if the price of the bitcoin is low you cannot sell, trade and exchange it to cash. The right time for sell, trading and exchanging is when the price of the etherum is high. But it will still depend on your decision because you cannot depend on the advise of others because you never know what is their advice all about and not all of us have the same point of view or understanding on etherum.

I do not think because there are so many coins besides Ethereum we can earn a profit with us investing in altcoin you buy because for now the price of Ethereum is decreasing and with you buying altcoin too will increase your risk and better save your money for other interest

NO. You only should invest in crypto when you can afford any lose. Whether it's ETH ir any other coin, you should have a limit for investing. Instead of invest in one coin split it into a few coins.

I believe in ethereum but I didn't invest all my money in it. I think it is wiser to diverse your investments
Ethereum is a very good investment. Especially now is a great time to buy at a very low price. I would however wait until the price drops to 300$ and bought on 50% of my planned budget. For the remaining 50% I would buy BTC.

ethereum is next level after btc so in the opinion i will suggest ether is the best way for invest but for the timing also good investment there but not hole capital just putt whatever you want where you can take rest after it will help you might because non one predict the price what can happen in future.
In more generic term, the rule I follow is, do not put all your eggs on one basket. This crypto business is all about the risk you take. The more risk you take, the chance of gain is higher and the chance to lose you money is also goes high. Anyway it is my idea, you may have made a lot of money by your own method.
