It's better to earn real tokens, not fake ones as most of these ICO's are scams and they promise in any method to scam people. I joined so many Airdrops, bounties, but only 2 to 3 paid me and they were in less price. I wasted my time by promoting them on Social media sites.
I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.
I think it has really something to do with proper research of the bounty you will be joining. I guess you have to spend more time on research and evaluation of the bounty before joining if you really want to make sure that it is not a scam or not. Not all project, though it is not a scam is successful. The real deal on these projects is the support from the investors and users. Don't give up but I suggest you must change your ways instead. I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.
It all depends on you. I know that all our opinions and suggestions are important to you but still you are the one who will decide for your future. As for me, evaluate yourself first. Go back to where you have started and why you do these things anyway. The deeper the reason why you do this will determine how you decide. This i think is a general thing. Most bounties these days do not pay fast. Some complain about the market and would tell you they are waiting for the market to improve first before paying prior to listing. You do not need to give up. I still believe that the market will get better.
Giving up now is not a good solution. Even though the crypto market situation is now in difficult times but we have to stay strong. We are required to be a little more patient. Well its a sad thing and most bounties do these kind of stuff. There are good bounties like casinolize that pays very well..Sometimes we earn less too because more people join that campaign especially social media so when the cash is being divided you just get few bucks. I remember doing a bounty that lasted 15 weeks and was paid only 10 dollars at the end 
this is usual for airdrops but good bounties don't avoid distributing tokens usually . I think you haven't done a good research before starting the bounty. so don't give up try to find a good one and work hard . find good bounty managers
