Of course at this time ico has lost interest due to the absence of a regulation that can provide rules for ico so that anyone can make and commit fraud, this is the worst effect in ico where regulation does not exist
Investors are even smarter than before, and they already known about what should they do. it's mandatory for everyone to do their own research. Regulation frame work can't help a lot in this case if the ico runs in the different country. you must understand about that.

I agree that ICOs will be regulated in that case we can avoid scam ICOs when it regulated by the government, the investment from the investors are totally secured. I think with this regulation the crypto market will not be manipulate.

A regulation must be applied to avoid fraud attempts. But with the regulation, there will be pros and cons. Because usually, these regulations can limit our work in Crypto. Is everyone ready for this rule?

Personally I support the idea of ICOs to be regulated, I believe if ICOs are regulated, it will reduce the level in which people get scammed through ICOs.

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?

First, we need to know what is the purpose of regulation in ICO.
If the purpose is to protect investors from scam projects ICO, then it should be regulated indeed.
But if regulation have no positive purposes, ICO should not be regulated.

To protect investors or bounty hunters, regulations must indeed be made. So that this regulation will limit or eliminate fraudsters in Crypto. Indeed, it takes hard work to get rid of scammers, I'm sure I can definitely protect Crypto customers.

Probably that's the only way we can stop scammers opening new ICOs every day since peoples money would be protected by a law or something. But regulating ICOs seems like a hard task to complete since governments don't really like cryptocurrencies and I am not sure I they want to regulated them.

If ICOs remain unregulated, then the reap off and scams will continue. There should be a strict guidelines and due process to be followed for any ICO to be accepted.

Yes, this will be a good solution to the problems that have occurred so far. That scammers grew and more ICO projects failed. So agencies must be formed and audit each ICO project. And ICO must be given very strict regulations.

You must also take into account that it is regulation which doesn't slow down all the innovation. Passing laws which foster innovation but catches the cheaters sounds easy, but it isn't. You have to watch the space and pass the right laws over time. If you do it all at once it will be too strict.

This is the main problem of the cryptocurrency market, especially the ICO projects, if we have general rules about ICO, it will minimize the risk of investors a lot and will limit many projects that are deceptive

This is a must because ICO scammer are everywhere it will not stop and they are not afraid because there is no strict regulation regarding ICOS. I think it's time to act before it's too late, investors lost interest on ICOS because it's just a waste of money and time.

this is a good idea, but I think that it is still not clear how to implement it, many projects collect funds and cannot be regulated

Of course it requires a process and a team that has a good reputation for regulating, without regulation, crypto is hard to accept massively, and many investors are afraid to put money on crypto because of the current negative reputation.

ICO is one of the favorites of investors to make investments that can provide benefits. However, there are now many ICOs that scam and delay the ICO. Of course, this greatly reduces investor confidence. So as to provide convenience to investors, this ICO must be regulated. If there are regulations that audit each ICO, I think all ICO fraud problems can be prevented.
The timing to invest now is bad, even if you have invested in a legit ICO, the price in the market is still the problem as it's hard to maintain the ICO price.
If you are planning to invest on ICO now, you should be investing for long term and wait until the market will turn around.

We need to be in a bullish trend to make ICO investing profitable in short term.
if we already decided investing in ico, we have to ready facing the risk that will occur someday.as we know much ico price dropp alot when listing in market.investors and token holder could not keep the price, they want sell it fastly.

I don't think so! Because if crypto gets regulation then the total crypto atmosphere will be changed for sure. Therefore, If ICO goes for regulation then it will become STO project, not ICO! ICO market is not doing well and the same thing happening in STO too! But yes, if ICO gets regulation then investors will have profits for sure, that's the facility here.

ICOs should be regulated at least in case of real team and spending the raised funds. this will help to decrease scam in ICO ecosystem.
KYC for developers and middle man to hold the funds until they have a working product that can be used. This needs a party to monitor the ico daily activity. KYC should be considered as mandatory for all of the developers. we need the third party that will be especially working to verifying any ico
