In my opinion, the ICO needs to be regulated by a regulatory body so that it can audit good ICO and fraud. thus investors do not lose their investment. and the regulatory body can block ico scammers.
There is already some platform that do just that for example kickico they are ofcourse verifying the team and documents therefore lowering the risk of scam ICO but unfortunately people seem not that interested to use that platform, really confusing while at the same time they demand it.

Yes I think that icos should need some regulations. Not banned or something we need some good kind of regulations. For last few months we see many icos which scammed people . either they collected money and dissapared or successful during ico phase then failed at the development stage. Some of them just don't go with the roadmap or dump token from company site. So if there we got some regulations maybe the ratio of project would be less. But we will be able to get more good project.

Obviously. The way the number of crypto currency is increasing it must be regulated by authority or else all the price of coins will be around 0$

Of course, in my opinion, I have to have a rule and also supervision for dev people who want to make ico because there are a lot of ico currently doing manipulations and also going away when ico is finished. so trust decreases

Absolutely not, regulation is harmful and does not affect scam. Scammers will find a way to bypass the regulation and we will just get extra difficulties.
We dont need no regulation.

Without any regulation whatsoever this is going to end badly. You do need some regulation. Sure scammers will keep scamming, but that will be the case forever.

I also think that ICO needs regulation. Maybe this regulations will not help in fundraising, but they will certainly help to punish scammers.
The only regulation that's needed by ico is a verification to prove if that was a real team that creating the ico. As you can see the scammers have become the main problem in the ico dude. So many people are still talking about this till this time.

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

That should be regulated to capture those scammed ico's running or planned to run their ico' s to cheat people . Im a bounty hunter and I dont want my work for free benefited with these scammer. Hope these forum make some remedy to manipulate these cheaters.

As ICOs are international it is hard to regulate, unless done by the united nations but I don't see that happening. Each nation could regulate their own ICOs but there will always be one place where you can do it from e.g. Panama

In my opinion, yes. Many icos now are a scam. they raise money, then run away with your money. Regulation of ICOs will reduce the rates of scam. I believe that regulatory authorities are working on this.

And so the ICO is dying and in 2019 I believe more ICOs will fail. ICO is just a scam and they will do everything differently to overcome the rules if there are any rules

The further, the less likely that the ICO will fully exist, this sphere has driven itself into such a trap that it can not get out of it, most likely there will be no future

Yes, this is a very good idea and an audit body must be formed. All ICO projects are audited so that fake projects are known. And that way investors will also be protected from fraud projects. But this is a job that is not easy but must be realized for crypto progress.

I really appreciate your statement, the special body that regulates ico must be formed immediately. this is useful for the detrimental fraudsters destroyed from the world of ICO and cryptocurrency. now what causes a lot of investors to leave is because ico scam and cheat. this is obviously very bad for crypto and crypto to be affected by it.

We have recorded too many scams in ICOs within the last 12 months which is why I would prefer we regulate ICOs so that not every dick and harry will just come and put up a token project without reasonable plan or fund for it.
Before we don't want it, now that we see the effect, we want it to be regulated.
Actually the scams cannot be minimize if there will be no punishment, with proper regulation, we can address this problem
and we will revive the reputation of ICO which is one of the factors that could help the market to grow again.

Lol when you must have passed the verification before try to issuing your ico and you must do that. Do you wanna get jailed by the police. So many scammers have already arrested and a few people that created bitconnect already arrested into the jail.
Verification will stop scammers? Are you serious?
People really believe that even if some measures like KYC have shown that you cannot stop scammers and instead you are giving them even more tools, icos are now asking for that information and since many of them are scams not only they get your money they also get your personal information that they can sell in the black markets and there is nothing you can do to stop them.
But remember the audir from the trusted 3rd party can be considered as a reliable way to avoid or prevent the scam ico. Look at binance how thousand of people are beliving in it because they can be trusted to verify the ico.
Yes, a trusted third-party audit is a good idea, but it should be voluntary.
Meanwhile, Centra managed to get on Binance.

The same as what you think, in my opinion that the supervisory body will be a differentiator that can make a big change for the development of the ico project. with the existence of a supervisory body, every ico project that has the potential to end a scam will be stopped immediately during the registration process. this becomes a positive point so that the level of investor confidence will increase.

it seems like it's really needed right now, fraud that takes the name ico must be ended immediately, everyone is fed up. let's build this community to be clean there is no dirt in it. if anyone wants to establish an ICO overseeing body I am the first person to approve it.
