So, Bossmanjack, a guy who resides in Virginia in the United States gets a deal with a casino that strictly prohibits play from restricted areas even with a VPN wins almost 200k and no KYC.

You can bet your ass if I played and used a VPN and won 200k they would undoubtedly deny my winnings under the terms of service.

In fact, I signed up and went to the live chat and asked them if it was ok if I could use a VPN to play and they immediately closed my account.

Looks like BossManJack has become a bit mature now. His craziness isn't same as it used to be in the early days. He is still doing the rage bets though. That was an interesting thread! That staking shfl for lottery tickets is an interesting choice, and i am guessing that staking could be for other purposes only. Probably not for passive income though, as that's problematic in most regions.

But it made me wonder if it's indeed happening inside their site, and not trough third party services, wouldn't cryptos converted to SHFL need a seperate trading platform licence? Or is it even exchange when it's technically buying crypto only?

I am sure that's just a matter of time, but just L2:s on Ethereum like Arbitrum or Optimism would be a good start. However i don't think that's their priority right now, because people who don't afford to send shuffle with high fees aren't probably their ideal, most profitable customers, and whales don't really care about the fees.

I would like to see them putting all the effort they can to deal with their smaller customers, and this would be nearly free promotion for them, as who knows if this small change means that this would be their new favorite casino, and people life to recommend their favorite new casinos for free. That should also increase the volume of how much will be bought by the casino, then burned, no? I believe that's a more sustainable model because the "yield" came from actual revenues, with a percentage used for buy and burn. Offering higher yield in SHFL would merely dilute holders.

The ETH network is indeed a fee that is a burden for us, for example, if we do a swap on DEX, we need to pay attention to the deposit + approved fee, this does not make sense if those who exchange it are of little value, so some people will go to CEX for one transaction.

But I don't know if the other casino coins that were on the ETH network earlier do they have other networks? Moving to another network is not easy maybe the Shuffle team has a specific purpose why the ETH network was chosen.

March, April and May of 2024 are eerily similar to September, October and November of 2023, and when we take into account the upcoming bull run it would not surprise me if another significant growth on the wagered volume on Shuffle could happen, after all, when the market as a whole is moving upwards, there is a huge deal of confidence coming from the people which are willing to take more risks, not only as investors and traders but as gamblers as well.
