i just started genesis-mining, and i think thats good site for mee..
How much did you spent, cloud mining sites are mostly scams. Genesis mining is legit but with the rates and diff, you would probably never get back what you paid in hashrate, return on investment is more than a year unless you throw in tens of thousands of dollars to speed up the hashrate. Better off getting bitcoins through other methods.
Totally agree! I have invested some of my Bitcoin into cloud mining a few years back. I haven't checked my account but I'm sure that the ROI is still negative - or maybe just a few (positive) dollar. With Singapore electricity cost, I don't recommend you to psychically mine Bitcoin too. Like Quartx, I'd suggest you to other things for Bitcoin. For example, create a service for Bitcoin like me.

I was fiddling around over the weekend and set up a monero mining pool using some guides on the public domain.
It runs off a VM on google cloud and I intend to keep it running long term while slowly learning how to tweak/enhance it.
If you are free and can help me stress test it out, it will be very appreciated.

but I saw one miner in your pool, with the power 1kh/sI was fiddling around over the weekend and set up a monero mining pool using some guides on the public domain.
It runs off a VM on google cloud and I intend to keep it running long term while slowly learning how to tweak/enhance it.

That's my own PC w/2x GPUs back from the BTC/LTC good ol' days. I powered it on and pointed it to the pool.
But it seems like it will take some time before I can find a block or more people join in the fun.

Ah. It's okay because everyone make mistake sometime. Yes, most users at Bitcointalk don't really trust new site - as expected (because I also don't trust new site). However, we know that as long as we continue and prove that we can be trusted, we will grow big one day.
