What do you feel about the split people?

Nothing much really. Despite being a Legendary member of Bitcointalk, I don't really participate in the Bitcoin protocol/technical discussion much. It looks like Bitcoin Cash (BCH) price is now sitting at ~300 USD while BTC is still at it somewhat stable ~2600 USD. I just take it as that my online digital assets increased by 10% overnight.

We have the same point of view, I don't want also to participate with such things in the coding of bitcoin technical things.

i am a new member of  bitcoin forum. i need a help.

Welcome to the forum, in what particular thing do you need help?

Bike sharing with Bitcoin in Singapore!

Bike-sharing have become very popular this year. With more than three companies running this business model. However, non of which accept the new (respected crypto)currency, Bitcoin yet. BikeBike a new bike-sharing startup wishes to be the first one to provide not only bike-sharing but also peer-to-peer functionality and accept Bitcoin. They're running a voting poll on their website now. The top five voted cities will be the first five to experience peer-to-peer, Bitcoin friendly bike-sharing service.

They have kindly add Singapore upon request (by me - BCT's reply here) to their voting poll. I've already made my vote for Singapore and it will be great if you were to vote for Singapore too. Singapore is one of the technology hub in Asia (South East Asia specifically) and having a Bitcoin friendly bike-sharing business here would be good.

* I am not a representative of this Bitbike or whatsoever. Just promoting it in Singapore Bitcointalk topic as a Singaporean who wishes to see a strong local Bitcoin market.

Yes, you're right. There is nothing wrong if he/she is saying that he/she is born in Philippine and is staying in Singapore as this topic is for discussion about Bitcoin in Singapore in general. However, if he/she does not relate anything about Singapore in the post, then it is required.

@AimHigh, I assume that you're staying in Singapore. So welcome to Singapore and the crypto world! Smiley.

Details Emerge on Singapore Central Bank's Blockchain R&D
Jul 24, 2017 at 04:30 UTC by Michael del Castillo

The Monetary Authority of Singapore has revealed a three-step plan to connect the world’s central banks via distributed ledger technology.

The two-phase effort called "Project Ubin" would see global central banks settling cross-border transactions in real time via a blockchain.

Unlike the current system, where only high-value or institutionally crucial transactions are settled in real time, Project Ubin is being designed to let make every cross-border payment and security settlement almost instant.

By tokenizing global currencies and protecting the privacy of each transaction using zero-knowledge proofs, Intel’s software guard extensions, or other means currently being explored, the new system of self-executing smart contracts could increase both the speed and privacy of international transactions.

But Project Ubin – built in partnership with banking consortium R3 and banks including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group – is about more than just remittances.
