it is true that not all ICO scam, those who have not released the coins must have a separate reason has not released it, of course they have long-term thinking and project to give its investors a good profit later, therefore we must be observant to see whitepapers and products they offer.

Hi, everybody. Of course, not all ICO Scam and Scam. There are really worthwhile projects. You just need to spend a lot of time on the analysis of each project to understand what's what and then everything will be OK.

Hello, let me clear this doubt some people said that all ICO is a scam but I don't believe them because I have invested in some ICO and make a good fortune, let me give you some clue to invest.
1. When you want to invest first of all research about the particular ico you want to invest in, try to check their Whitepaper because some ICO copy text from another ICO white papers
2. Try to check their LinkedIn profile though that does'nt matter because some fake LinkedIn profile.
3.Try to know their real location even though some use VPN to hide their location.
4.website professional matters a lot because some don't even know how to build website and they are claiming that they are in to Blockchain
5. Despite all this..involving in ICO is a big risk
hai friends .. thank you for providing this very useful information, I strongly agree with the perykerugian because your scamsataan, it is very difficult to distinguish the good ICO and who only intend to commit fraud or scams. but if investors are observant with all aspects of their bounty program will not suffer losses due to a scam

Live promotion from place to place would be a great showcase of an ICOs credibility. Fake infos and identities are everywhere in this field, showing the teams work would be a good proof of the project activities and legitimacy.

Yes, there are some serious projects! But there are too many unsuccessful projects! Choosing the right investment is very difficult! Care should be taken when joining ICOs

Don't think all are ICO's are scam, some good ICO's also live now, whenever you invest in any ICO, you should study about it,read roadmap, whitepaper, team behind the project, active in social medias etc.. I think if you are ready to invest in ICO that is better investment plat from because you will get good profit and you can earn good return after 6 months when the token listed in good exchange, you should patience also, wait for good return on invest.

We have check all about some ico when to participated and invest there, many ico was scam and have run away investor money. Before joining we have check how trust an ico owner, trust or not an ico owner will be some ico success or not, many ico owner is not trust after their ico was sold out and success they have delay for listing their token on market. we have know roadmap of ico correctly to know when we can sell it.

The thing I know is that it's very difficult to determine a scam and not an ico project. All you say are some steps to identify security investment in ico project. Investing in ico projects is vulnerable to failure, but if you are right in choosing a project of course the results will be great. However, I agree that not all ico projects are scam, there are some of them that are good.

Well, if those who said that all ICO are scams may have been scammed by a lot of ICO that they have invested in. So, I understand why do they said that. But, assuming that all ICO are scams is not right. Because, a few of them can give you a good fortune like you did. Finding a good coin to invest is the most critical part of investing in ICO.

Now I'm investing in projects that are on ICODROPS. And I use different tables with ratings of reputable people from this industry.

ICO can be a form used by scammers. But it is also one of the best ways to raise capital and develop a project. ICODROPS is one of the best places to evaluate ICOs, and so ICORATING. That was my thought.

I have never have an idea that all icos are scam but many of them are scam.  Investing into icos takes courage and understand on how the market work as many of us here has lost money through icos investments.
There are coins that I invested in since last year and there have not been listed in any exchanges and to me there are scam projects because there are now worthless.

Its always worth to invest in those who has got real working proto types of whatever products an services they are offering. They should at least show us some preparedness so that we can be able to track the activity about their previous works and see that there were real people working on them.

Because it gets very hard when it comes to the development phase where they keep saying us that they are in beta phase, alpha phase, open phase and stuff like that. It can be troubling later on.

So a start up with actual fired up things would be always great to see.

All your points are all correct but unfortunately all these scammers knows what you are going to look at their project, so they are going to try very hard to make their ico as legit to your eye as possible, you need an extra mile to do a good research to know what you are investing into

It is difficult to determine which ICO is not scam. I think if the development team has deliberately scam, they will do it carefully, not easy to know.

most ICOs today are scam. most of them looks real and you can't distinguish real and fake. scammer are smart and they learn to improve their way of scamming people. it gets harder to know if it is scam or not.

Nobody said that all ICOs are scam. If all of them are scam then why the hell people would invest? If somebody did even mention about classifying all ICO as scam then he/she might be either just being sarcastic or exaggerated or he/she is so ignorant.
Most ICOs are scam, only a few are legit and from that few legit, only a portion of that is worth to invest in. ICO investment has higher risk than gambling/

Yes I do believe that a lot of ICO's are a scam but there also a good ICO but it seems they are outnumbered to the bad ones, therefore we must do our own research not just believe what they are saying.

Your number 5 point said it all. There are ICOs that have a wonderful whitepaper and they later turn out to be a scam. The most important thing is that all investors should understand the risk on ICO investment.

Yes maybe some ICOs are not scam, but we don't know which one is scam, sometime eventhough the project is looking good, but it can be a scam project, anyway before you join ICO, you must think many times before invest your money into ICO.
