Is the gambler not allowed to create a new account at bitsler if his account gets deleted/suspended for inactivity in few months? If he creates one and in future, bitsler comes to know that he's the same gambler who left the site for long time but didn't come back, so in that gambler's safety, will bitsler use the "multi-account" term to stop that gambler from making a new account?
A simple way for a gambler is to withdraw their funds immediately once played at the casino, which prevents them from losing their funds some time in future if they forget about having kept them on that casino.
Depends on the situation of the previous account isn't it? I mean if the previous account is totally gone then there is nothing wrong with having a new account. As far as I know all these "multi-account" rules in almost every casino is about having two accounts at the same time.

If you have an account, gamble with it, then stop, not gamble there for months, get the account disabled for being inactive, then years later start another account and gamble with that, it should be fine shouldn't it be? I mean after all you are not gambling with two accounts at the same time which is what the multi accounting is against, if you are strictly gambling with one account at a time without any account overlap at the same time, that should not be something illegal. I am not 100% sure though, bitsler can clear that up for us if they want to in order to get a better and more guaranteed answer.

Keeping the money of a player just because they didn't login for 6 months is not a fair thing that is for sure because let's be honest they are not the owner of that money. What should be the case? It should be that if you want to close the account because it is inactive (which no casino actually would need, just keep the account ffs why close it?), then just give the money while closing as well.

Contact the person, hell even if you send it back to the address that deposited (which could create some problems). That is the only way to handle but there is nothing you could do that would make this alright because you are keeping someone's money. I do believe that bitsler is doing something wrong without realizing how big it is and they will realize how big of a problem what they are doing could become if most of us show how we dislike this decision and they will step back.

<<>> I believe a simple answer would be that a player is expected to use the casino as a place to gamble not as a wallet.

In fact guys, I will share with you, I play at bet365 and recently I didn't play there for like months so they took away some balance of mine and sent me an email about it. So if the best and biggest sites can do it, surely bitsler can too.

I understand some people might return after more than 6 months but they can just create a new account and the support can merge the account under the same affiliate, I guess.

I actually agree that 6 months time period should suffice because if the player doesn't login into his account for such a long period of time, either he doesn't care or he has technically left the casino. Now there might be an argument that how does the casino take his balance? To this, I believe a simple answer would be that a player is expected to use the casino as a place to gamble not as a wallet.

Alright, a while ago, I noticed an "unfriendly" policy with regards to your affiliate program: Players being removed after a certain period of time etc. when "inactive" - you changed your wording on the site and assured me that this would only happen with players who didn`t deposit before.

So now I am wondering - one of my players has received an email from Bitsler, stating his account will be closed and balance removed shortly for not having logged in for 6 months.

1) This is a predatory term from a player perspective
2) Based on that term, that player would also be removed from my referred players

You can`t just do that - besides it being unethical, it`s absolutely shady and a great way for a casino to not pay for players "lifetime".

bitsler.com, your balances will expire soon

It's been more than 6 months since you last logged into your Bitsler account. Your available balances are :
0.00001322 BTC | 0.01783803 QTUM | 0.32565820 XRP | 19.26040061 DOGE.

After conversion at the current exchange rate your total balance could be converted to the amount of 0.000182 BTC.

In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, in section 16, under Inactive Users (https://www.bitsler.com/en/tos), your balance will be forfeited if you don't log into your account within the next 30 days.

We will contact you again before the 30 days period runs out if you don't login to your account again, which will then be your last chance before account closure happens and additionally lead to loss of any remaining funds that might be in your account.

Kindest regards,

Bitsler management.
What's unethical here? You registered on the website, deposited money and haven't even logged in on your account for more than six months. Why this website should keep your account? They pay money to keep servers up, to develop a website and offer you a better user experience, to keep your wallets safe and even add new ones, so, why should they keep your account and balance when you abandoned it? Have you seen any bank that allows you to keep money on your card and pay zero fees?
If I send you my car, will you keep it in your garage for free? I guess, no.

Also, they warn you and send emails for more than one time about this and what's unethical after all? I don't defend Bitsler, just don't think your argument is fair.
I think there is nothing unethical here even it is better to eemove anyone from any sites if the person is absent or inactive for about six months. Even if anyone take loan from any lenders or bank by taking collateral and do not contact withinn a certain period of time then the lender or bank will sell the collateral. And it is ethical too.

According to the email as further as I have understood that they will not lock your account or balance if you log into the account. I don't know either it is applicable to all or not but in my country if we do not make any transaction within 6 months then the account will be marked as dormant. So, the action  of bitsler might be good too. And also I don't think it is impossible for a user to login into the site within 6 months of time. And in the same time they are sending notification before the action to make aware about the future action.

@efialtis this is a standard policy in the affliate industry as I too had my affliate account revoked on a hosting site, because I hadn’t logged in for many months hence I feel that you should just login once a month and keep your account safe.

Also this way the site will be able to eliminate less active player’s, and encourage player’s to be more active hence if you see form the sites perspective then this move totally makes sense.
Yes, the purpose of this type of account closure or for locking balance is to remove inactive users as well as inactive fund for the the affiliation staff even they take same types of decision for active users. On bitsler few months ago bitsler stoped giving me nitro bonus for not making any depsoit/withdraw/betting. But while I withdraw a small amount from there they activate my nitro again.

Believe me when saying I have tried to get in touch with anyone who could be considered in charge of the affiliate program - bad luck, nobody cared, support obviously couldn`t help since that`s not some support issue.

Did you just make the assumption that support couldn't help? Try it, they've been really patient with me and points me where I need to go or who to contact,
It's the policy of deleting an account and forfeiting the balance that is questioned. efialtis wants that removed or maybe modified so the customer support cannot do anything. He's after the management team that has the power to change policies.

Also, there is a reason why I made that post on here - as already mentioned, there was an issue back then and now this. Even from a player perspective alone, this sucks, plain and simple.

Sorry about your experience. I have an affiliate issue with another site, so I think I can relate.

The screenshot (its content) makes it even worse? I haven´t bothered checking their terms but right now it looks like:

My player was contacted, which according to your screenshot means he should have more than min withdrawal balance and if he doesn`t act, his account will be deleted and balance lost (see the email I quoted). If he had less than min withdrawal balance, they would be waiting another 12 months before deleting the account and removing the balance? That doesn´t even make sense?!

I went and had a chat with Emily from Live Support. She gave me that screenshot. You should try asking her or one of her teammates. Smiley

And in my "understanding", if a player have not logged-in to the site for at least 6 months he will be considered an Inactive Player .

2 types of Inactive Player

  • a. The inactive player have minimum withdrawal amount.
They will contact the inactive player by email (if there is a registered email address for this account), otherwise we will wait 12 months before trying to contact you once again. If after 12 month-period, you have not yet logged in, the account will be deleted and the balance forfeited.

  • b. The inactive player doesn't have minimum withdrawal amount.
They will contact the inactive player by email (if there is a registered email address for this account), if you do not reply and do not log into your account within the next 30 days, your account will be deleted and the balance forfeited.

-Hope I was able to help.   Wink

i am afraid I don`t understand what you mean with regards to "friendliness" - Fortunately, it doesn`t matter what you consider friendly or not, my questions were directed to Bitsler since they are my business partners, not you.

Apologies, I'm not an expert, not even close.
I was merely reacting to your post, which you made in public.

If you are only directing it to them, you could just send them a "direct" message.

How to send a direct message:

via Live support on Bitsler,

or send an email to [email protected]

not directing this to anybody in particular:

I would have said your standards for being friendly is really high, if you did not mention being assured by Bitsler.

-can you just ask that player of yours if he can log in and log out if he is not really in the mood to play? (will ask and verify if players only need to log-in)
-also being told about the possibility of an account closure several times and in advance only shows that Bitsler's intention is to check on their players/users.

i am afraid I don`t understand what you mean with regards to "friendliness" - Fortunately, it doesn`t matter what you consider friendly or not, my questions were directed to Bitsler since they are my business partners, not you.

Your last point pretty much disqualifies you from chatting with me about this, sorry. This is not some nice gesture, this is mandatory. It`s pretty obvious that your industry knowledge is rather limited.

Yeah, I got logged out and tried logging in - isn`t working.
I have contacted with them and the told me to login via their mirror site bitsler.gg because of their changing the certificate. I have  tried it and the problem happening to me same as the main site. So, I think there is no other alternatives except waiting for approval their changing certificate.

Now working to me and they gave a coupon code: https://www.bitsler.com/coupon/WeAreBack
