So very happy to get Egypt win, it seems Sportsbet very kindly gave the freebet from the promo anyway so I guess Extra Time results still count and not regular time, just like Superbru Wink

Made 0.2 chip into 0.4 so now my total is 0.8 mbtc cash, one more win and I believe I can get my money back on Egypt  Grin Is everybody happy with the results?

3 goals and 4 goals in yesterday games so let us hope for the same average in semifinals. Egypt and Senegal are improving every step I guess, finally lol

indeed, Morocco had it all, but did not count on Salah magic to score, and than they obviously fall apart, did not see that coming
Senegal is playing better as tournament is getting into final stages, and they are now favorites

two semi-finals, Senegal is an obvious choice against Burkina Faso, but host country and Egypt will be a thriller, and first match where goals should be expected?

imo Senegal have an easier route to the Final. Egypt, though, it's rough, they would have to beat Morocco and then Cameroon, hmm i don't know about that  Cheesy

Egypt already progressed through to quarter and semi as the underdog so I guess you can say they are totally fired up to meet more and more favorites along the way, whereas as you said Senegal keeps going into every game as the favorite. Cameroon Egypt should be really good to watch, Salah is so special he just knows how to break open all the defences I guess.

I didn't expect either team to get to where they are now TBH, they both had poor performances in the group stage and no one expected them to advance, especially Egypt, but I must say I'm impressed with Egypt's performance so far, they have shown more attacking and defensive strength than we saw earlier in the tournament.

Egypt 2-1 Morocco (118 mins)
Egypt presently leads after Morroco took an early 1-0 lead in the first half, Salah scored in the second half, and Trezeguet scored in extra time to give Egypt the lead. The match is still going on.

I hope so. The worst is for the final to get two teams who don't have enough firepower to show us a classic final although actually I don't even know how the final will work as Superbru hasn't updated it.

And I know Senegal and Egypt both didn't look like they were good but I have a feeling they will really play different if they reach the final. Is there a chance these 2 will meet?

Yeah well done to you guys who got Burkina Faso. They have been in the news a hell lot the past couple of weeks... All for the wrong reasons of course. Could that be what is fueling their attacking display?

Anyway, all I care about today is Senegal win.

@toma yeah have been following Mane situation and he actually scored AFTER the injury but so far all signs are he just had a really swollen cheek to show for it. Liverpool are appealing to not let him play. But I guess not every federation views head injuries the way England does where you automatically don't play next game for any kind of concussion. I hope he sits this out too. We need our boy back.

Senegal ? I hope they can get it done, but I wouldn't underestimate the Equatorial Guinea who have defeated Algeria and Mali in this tournament, but I'll probably go with the Under bet for this as well, since the 1.5 Handicap for Equatorial Guinea is not valuable @ 1.4 imo too.
Btw, Sadio Mane had a head injury in the last game and he looked very dizzy afterwards, he had to lay down for a bit and all... i wonder if there's a chance he could miss the game today ? punters are probably waiting for the confirmed lineups before jumping on that tasty 1.5 moneyline. I'll keep an eye on the handicaps as well, we'll see some value in the live markets for sure

and that's our first upset in the quarterfinals... well deserved win for Burkina Faso,, only two users predicted that exact 1-0 result in our pool, so no big changes in the leaderboard

you reckon Senegal will get the job done tomorrow? i like that moneyline @1.6 boosted, looks very generous tbqh

Yes well deserve victory, congratulations to Burkina Faso, also the host country Cameroon. I don't know if I am the only one predicting that Cameron will be the champions of Africa for this 2022 African cup of Nation, because aside from being the host country, the team are doing very well, as the bag another 2-0 victory in their quarter final.

Man, I can't remember who it was who suggested Cameroon as a good pick, being the host country -- and I know it wasn't mentioned then but you do get quite a bit of refereeing sympathy for a host nation, not to mention home support, and that they've just been winning every game now going forward, (or was it just 1 draw?), I'm wondering if this was a missed opportunity.

Already 2 goals up and against Gambia, no way they miss out on the next stage.
They've been good upfront, taking chances when they see them and playing as a team; anytime the team has been down defensively, their GK Onana has always come to their rescue. They will win the trophy if they make it to the final. If they stay focused, I'm not sure any team will be able to stop them.

Aboubakar with six goals, while Karl Toko Ekambi is 5goals. Will it be an issue for the squad if both strikers are competing for the golden boot? There were times after Ekambi's brace when he could have passed the ball to Aboubakar, but he chose to be greedy and put it over the moon. Maybe I'm being sentimental, but what I saw today could cause the team problems in their next game.

I expect 0:0 in the other game to keep up with goals scored percentages..

changed 0:0 to 1:0 in last minutes, think that Burkina Faso will make it through, we will see
compared to Cameroon, where we had consensus in the pool that Cameroon is going through, here is Tunisia picked as a favorite by most people, and several draws, but almost no one believe in Burkina, not sure why?

nah, simply have a feeling that we would not see penalties today

I was about to say this match is best attacking one I've seen so far in this tournament and I'm surprised it's still goalless, but on the stroke of halftime Burkina Faso took a well deserved lead with that stunning counter attack.

Burkina Faso should have scored more to be honest, and finally we'll see an attacking Tunisia side in the second half. I hope they get a potion of their own po*son.

For those like me that choose Algeria it was definitely a missed opportunity Smiley But I am learning I have their win in our pool and on multi ticket so at least I am getting something back.

I knew Cameroon were going to win tonight, but didn't expect Gambia should be so submissive in all aspect of the match. They were dominated for the entirety of the game, unlike in their previous games, but I can as well say that's the effect of playing against Cameroon.

Tunisia vs Burkina Faso is up next, I think this would be a really close one, and I have a bet for Under 1.5 goals.

Hate to say this guys but last night I watched Conmebol (Brazil) and just the first half alone reminded me again what fast, attacking, purposeful, determined football looked like. I think even Ecuador playing in Afcon, if they showed half of what they did last night, would win every game (although probably the ref would red card 4 or 5 of them by half time). I'm a huge Afcon supporter honestly but for some reason this edition just insisted to show us the worst that they were possible.

it is a bit off-topic, but yeah Ecuador showed full strength with ten men on the field
needed few good passes more from Plata to get money on Sorare as well, but he played great, and found Torres from a corner spot for a goal

and yeah, they would win this AFCON with last night play, but they will obviously have their chance to show strength in Qatar, which is a great success for Ecuador, considering South American competition

Agree with Trofo, 0-0 was at least 10/1 on both games with superboost even it was 14/1 I saw for Egypt. At least even watching in the first half I should have thought to take it. igehhh was right though, Egypt keeper kept his team in the game, there WERE quality shots coming in from outside the box but overall, those were just pot shots and as a team, neither side could fashion good chances.

Salah was probably let down a lot by poor finishing or decision making from the strike force, he may not look good playing but he generally took every ball well on that pitch.

how many goals in QF, one in total?

why the hell is Tunisia favorite over Burkina Faso, they are struggling with Covid? and haven't win over Burkina Faso ever
it seems as good value to take Burkina Faso to qualify (to win is just too much with 0:0 scores as standard in AFCON)
Only bets I am making are under goals, only bets that worked for me so far. Everything else I tried ended as failure. So I am betting on boring in AFCON and watching Handball or Futsal championships instead.

I am just sad I did not go for 0:0 draws in our pool. Always though to pick when you know that result has to last 120 minutes.
