Liverpool fans how you guys preparing life without Trent?? Real Madrid officially can talk to him now and they're already on the devil's deal for a free agent move in July. To put the fat £50m signing bonus in Trent's pocket.

I think he will leave in the summer for £0. If you want me to be honest, I think he’s a rat. I guess the club must take some of the blame for being so unprofessional to allow Trent, Salah and VVD to run their contracts down to have 6 months remaining, it’s so stupid.

Trent is born and bred in Liverpool though, he’s been at the club since 6 years old. We are 1st in the PL and 1st in the CL group table. I would understand a potential move if we were doing badly but it looks like he is going to be a Judas and he is no legend if he leaves. I will hate watch the rest of his career Cheesy

I hate these types of games. Everybody already discussing whether it will be 3-0 or 5-0.
United has 4 0-0 draws at Anfield in the last 10 years or so, most of them as a big outsider. They conceded only 10 games in their 9 away games this season.

Give me an ugly 1-0 win and I'll be happy as hell, derby games aren't called that for a reason. No matter how bad United is, they will be fired up for this one.

(They really do look totally disorganized, it has to be said. I just don't want us to go into the game with a feeling that it is already won)

Liverpool vs United used to be an exciting derby game, but now I can't even call it a derby, just as I can't call Chelsea vs Fulham a derby anymore; things used to be nasty back then, but it doesn't feel the same anymore; one is the best in the league, while the other is at most low. Nothing to see here.

I would be satisfied with a low result like you said. When i see a big one its just a waste of my pick because everyone gets 1 point and cannot make an impact. Man Utd is awful and they lose for sure against Liverpool. I dont know what needs to happen that Man Utd beats or draws against Liverpool.

I found a unique troll meme that kept me laughing.

Liverpool will open the door for the arrival of guests Manchester United, who now all know this team is bad and even harassed by many memes, it cannot be denied that Liverpool will not let them lose.

This defeat will bring them closer to the relegation zone. Grin

This might be my worst EPL matchday, imagine 9 games, and I only scored 1.5 points. Not much upset but so many unexpected draw. 3 draws with 2-2 correct score. Lol. And just to note, I only got that 1.5 score from Man City's win. Lol. In their last 15 games, Man City only managed 5 wins, 4 draws, and 6 losses here in English Premier League.
The worst week is always there buddy and indeed sometimes things like this are bound to happen at least once Cheesy

But it is undeniable that the last week at the end of the year for the EPL where boxing day always colors is always a lot of unexpected things in the end including for some scores that we never expected before.

The fatigue factor is always the main problem because boxing day is sometimes always used as one of the situations that is like torture even though it should be for some big clubs they are not affected by it.
If this week is your worst week then it's lucky for me because looking from the beginning since following from the first match, this week is a week where I can guess the score correctly in several matches at once which previously I could not do.

Still lucky enough to move up the standings in SuperBru, maybe some matches did not match the predictions including the Manchester City draw.
There is still a long way to go, it seems that the competition will remain tight, sometimes it is difficult to catch up with the points in the bag, but what hasn't been felt this round is never getting a yellow cap. Sad

Watched their game against Newcastle, they are 2:0 down and they are defending with all 10 players 30 meters from their goal.
If they did not do so it could have easily been 3 or 4 goals in the first half. I wonder what caused Zirkzee to come back on after he angrily went into the dug out when he was subbed off.

And then you have the guy that is waiting to get a bad look to start rolling on the pitch and complain to the referee. It is not all about class and perfect touches, sometimes you have to dig deep and win on muscles and shear willpower.
He whinges a lot during games and has received far too many red cards within the last 2 years. I think some referees may be slightly irritated by his antics.
On another note, it is a surprise I did not get the wooden spoon after having no picks on 6 questions. I was almost sure I had my picks ready before the start of the match-week, but how wrong was I.

My main problem with United any many other teams is that they are missing the balls to make it happen.
Watched their game against Newcastle, they are 2:0 down and they are defending with all 10 players 30 meters from their goal. I mean try to cause something to happen. Leave 3 players high up the pitch or play high pressing. Do something, show that you care.

You're already losing 2:0 so what's the point of defending? Isn't it the best time to pull a 3 man back and push everyone up front to try to level up? I will never understand why a losing team will keep playing low block instead of attacking..

Quote
That all ties in to the captain as well. Fernades was out that game and he is good player but he is not captain material for me. In the past you had Roy Keane who would yell on the whole team and lead by example. And then you have the guy that is waiting to get a bad look to start rolling on the pitch and complain to the referee. It is not all about class and perfect touches, sometimes you have to dig deep and win on muscles and shear willpower.

It's always a good idea to have someone lead from the back; they see more on the pitch than anybody else. I've always liked the idea of having a defender or a goalkeeper lead a team. I like Bruno and think he's a good leader; he's vocal, defends the players, and will cry at the ref when necessary.

As the club captain, it appears the team's bad performance is getting to him; he seems unhappy and frustrated every time I see him.

Yeah, it has been downhill since SAF left. They were last feared by other clubs in 2013 despite lots of changes in managers. It is beginning to look like Sir Alex was so good that he was able to put together an average team with poor administration for so long and make them world beaters. No one else has been able to replicate that.

This on both points. Also watched the game, switched off after HT as it was just poor football. They were letting themselves, inviting themselves, to get bullied off the ball. It's Newcastle, come on. I think I only remember Casemiro at least running up to try and curl a layoff in but everyone else had given up. They don't even look fit, these guys. Amad looked like a scared schoolboy being chased by bullies. I would even applaud him getting a yellow for giving back some rough tackles. Fight back. Show some balls. Last game against Wolves was just as shitty. Wolves weren't confident, nervous passing, but United tried to look even less confident, more nervous.

And on leadership yeah, I've seen Fernandes look annoyed and complain when someone didn't pass him properly but he shrugs a lot, I don't like that in a captain. That's why I prefer Alisson to Kelleher all day long. Kelleher won't say anything if his defenders slack off, Alisson would be screaming blue murder at them.

If Ipswich was that good they would not be in relegation zone with only 15 points and 3 wins, but they have their good moments sometimes.
They are not that good, just thought they were better then Southampton and Leicester. For them to come out of the relegation zone, they need to be better than one more team, I cannot see that happening anytime soon.

They had their golden period with Sir Alex Ferguson and I think they won last Premier League title with him back in 2013.
Inlater years they won other trophies, cup competitions and Europa League so I dont think they had better team and less problems.

Manchester City break their losing streak, maybe its time that we break ours after we lose against Liverpool on the next round
But you face us at the Emirates after that in the FA Cup. You can break the streak after losing that one
I still think Amorim can come good for United. He just need time and investments to do so.

We call it Black Dog locally, and my first taste was after blood donation in the 1990s, they actually used to give them out after you gave blood -- back when things weren't so woke haha. Then I used to have it after football, so it's probably a lot of nostalgia but I like Guinness. They had a brewery where I grew up close by. I do know the African shops here sell it but I really should go to where it's made to have my first taste.

I'll try to stay humble about Liverpool =p

No problem mate- the wind of time would push us across or push you the Guinness origin someday.

What exactly is going on with Chelsea? They are winless in the last 3x matches and this makes them lose a lot of points with low teams due to a lot of carelessness in defense.

The opponent of Ipswich was really surprising, I didn't expect after losing to Fulham to lose again to Ipswich.

Our recent poor performance is proudly sponsored by Enzo Mascara's ego. The team is suffering as a result of recent experimentation, attempting new things, and failing to stick to what worked. He had two fit RBs on the bench but chose to play a CB on the right instead; he made the same mistake on the left side against Fulham.

If it's not broken, don't replace.

I think Man United is  cursed this season   Grin

Yes we are and at this rate, we are doomed. Next game on Anfield, getting even 1 point would be miracle considering the team's current state.

Like every other season before this?

This is the worst season ever. We still made it quite on top despite not winning the league in the previous years but we are currently 14th right now and its getting worst on every game. Manchester City break their losing streak, maybe its time that we break ours after we lose against Liverpool on the next round

Did Chelsea players go out playing drunk against Ipswich?  Roll Eyes
With having all that possession and missing so many shots on goal it was a big punishment to lose and concede two goals from Ipswich.
Well done Beercules for predicting Ipswich win in superbru, that was brave from you, rest of us expected very different outcome Smiley
The effect is that they want a vacation but they still have to compete in the Premier League. Lol

Ipswich are actually a good team. I remember watching them early on in the season against City and thinking they will be the most likely promoted team to stay up, they still are but will have to make hard work of it.

To think they were trolling Arsenal for winning Ipswich by just a single goal but not being able to get a single point from them. Ipswich are actually a good team.
