Aston Villa vs Burnley is the other game I'd say is in danger of being a 0 - 0. Aston Villa haven't been on top form recently, and Burnley will be very cautious since obviously they're playing for their survival in the Premier League. Honestly, that's the most interesting game for me out of the 15:00 kick off's.

Son-Kane are still the pairing I respect most in modern football, and the S Korean is chasing Salah for the Golden Boot, they'll be incentivised to try and close that gap. But that's great news for me because I'd want them to try and attack so we can go for their throats too.
When both are on top of their game, Spurs look like title challengers, that's how good the pairing can be. They suit each other perfectly, and I think Kane has come to grips that he's better when he drops back, and Son makes the runs, whereas before I think Kane was always looking for those goals, which ultimately made him a worse player for a period of time.

It'll be hard, I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, but if we do we'll need Alison on top of his game, as I expect they'll have a few chances with our high line.

Looks like Leeds and Burnley are going to be fighting it out for the relegation battle. I think Everton will be ok with one game in hand on them both, especially if they grab any points from this weeks game against Leicester. Leeds likely won't get any points from their next two games.

as a fan, like what you think about Everton, but I think that only Burnley is secure
agree that Leeds would probably not see a point in next two matches, but Burnley could secure their stay against Villa, and they seem ready to do that

Everton needs points against Leicester, but we are worst team in a league on a side this season, so I am not so sure that it will come eventually - moreover last match against Arsenal would probably take us down to Championship (Brentford and Palace at home are our chances to stay)

Most probably Burnley is going to win today and fully secure to be safe from the relegation fight. It is somewhat strange as Burnley before this really late and really good run was suffering big in the Premier League,I think other teams can learn to never lose hope and play every game as a final just like what I think Burnley has done during such phase that now most likely they will be the team which will be safe from relegation.

Honestly, I think Chelsea are going to struggle against Wolves this week. Thinking of going with another 0 - 0, very nearly pulled that off with the Everton game last week. As for the Liverpool vs Tottenham game, if I was going to make a prediction, I'd probably go with a 3-1 to Liverpool. I think their defense is rather suspect, but their counter attacking can't be underestimated, and I think they'll ultimately end up grabbing a goal from the counter. Probably with Son getting the goal. I imagine Kane will be dropping deeper looking to feed Son in behind, and if they can beat our high defensive line, they might have a field day.

Getting only a point from a bad United side, then losing to Lampard's poor Everton? And to a mistake on the ball? Yeah, extremely disappointing, so while I'm still going for a Chelsea prediction, I'd happily put money on Wolves DNB.

I've gone for a few 0-0s this week, but Chelsea isn't one of them. I think they'll be ok as Chelsea will need to make sure they stay in the CL spots. Looks like Leeds and Burnley are going to be fighting it out for the relegation battle. I think Everton will be ok with one game in hand on them both, especially if they grab any points from this weeks game against Leicester. Leeds likely won't get any points from their next two games. Shame if Leeds go down. Their squad will be absolutely decimated. Phillips, Meslier, Raphina will likely all go. I wonder if there's many contracts with relegation clauses? I doubt Leeds will bounce straight back.

Yeah, it'll be a really sad story for me personally too, followed Leeds in Championship, and yeah, I had my thoughts about Bielsa and there was no option in the end but to sever the hand pulling them down underwater (though his was also the one pulling them up in the first place) but I feel like they've lost their soul already and it's apparent.

I'm hoping Everton go down, simply because I was so frustrated playing against them, and well playing against their antics was infuriating. Other than that, it should be a exciting few weeks with both the top of the table, and the bottom of the table being very close. I do think Everton survives though, they've found a strategy which seems to be working for them recently.

These are the only ones which I imagine would have regelation clauses, anyone else I doubt so. Although, like you say it's probably already settled that they'll be leaving in the summer. I guess the question is whether those clauses kick in or if they go for a decent fee. I think Raphina walks into a lot of mid table teams, and probably performs pretty well. Phillips I like, but I'm not quite sold on him yet.

Liverpool is in top form now both in the Premier League and in Champions League which made a great turn of the result from losing 2-0 to winning 2-3 in just half an hour, this says it all about Liverpool.Tottenham or whatever other team they will face it is a sure thing they are going to win and most probably in a big way since they are playing in their home stadium before they great fans.

On the pool though there are only 3 weeks left, enough points in play for people to try and fight for the top ten even some that are somewhat behind like 13-15 place can have a real go at it if they do well in these last rounds.

Probobly one of the most crucial rounds is now. I have dropped so much points that now the first place is a wish only. But now im even close to getting knocked out of top 10 and i even risked now with some results for this round and this could be a deadly mistake for me or a big advantage

Other than Chelsea losing to Everton, there weren't any other major upset, and there wasn't any match that ended in a draw either, probably the reason for your performance.

The next round is much more tricky and the possibility of a couple matches ending in a draw is quite high, I do hope I'm able to get them right. Every point now matters so much at this stage.

If you're a Liverpool fan, somehow every game feels like a final. This game against Tottenham definitely has me worried, think they've been playing some decent football, and while I should be confident, we always seem to struggle a little against them. Especially, since they're probably the very definition of a good counter attacking team.

I had Manchester United for a clean sheet win at 2-0 but then I don't know why I was not convinced that they were going to win and changed to a draw 2-2.This shows that luck plays a big role in the pool beside skill as it is just luck that brought me to change the result and lose the points,I know many other persons in the pool change often their predictions after having put them so I would say we should never touch the initial prediction because rarely the changed one comes true.
Yeah, I think that's fairly obvious. Gambling is a lot of luck, at least with sports betting there's some sort of skill to it compared to lets say slots or something along that nature. I do think your later statement is probably superstition rather than fact though. Whatever you go for, it doesn't matter until what happens. There's so much unpredictability in sport, let alone football.

Congratulations to you both Tomahawk9 and sojourner  Kiss!!!

I'm thinking if it is possible to get the correct score for all the matches next week, what if I get the free bet 6-6 and I don't know if someone in the pool is thinking about this Grin
I know I will never get that 6-6 bet right. I don't think I ever had more then 2 or 3 correct there. My solid position in our pool (14) is a reuslt of consistency. I am in the top half every week but never even close to the yellow cap. I don't think I had a single one in 3 years of this pool and maybe just a few in other pools where we have a lot less people.

United actually looked good tonight in some moments but then they started giving out balls in their half like crazy, they can be very happy that Brendford did not punish them in those moments.

Yes, well done friends,,, this season I managed one yellow cap and that was enough for me, paid back the participation fee so absolutely great already!

Regarding Bet-6-6? I have never even got TWO right, so no need to dream of getting all six. It is way easier than winning Superbru 10 out of 10 and still, no one ever got it right or close,,, second prize is 10k$ for 5 out of 6 right?

convincing win from United, clean sheet and good football... a good farewell at Old Trafford for Juan Mata, Matic, and also Ronaldo?

Early congratulations to you toma for the yellow cap!
oi friend! looks like we're both sharing the yellow cap this week!  Smiley Harko couldn't keep our pace and finished 2pts behind us. Still, what a dramatic end-of-season  Grin

I actually wasn't following the weekly leaderboard, at least not since after Man Utd draw against Chelsea, I just put in my picks all at a go with "Que sera sera" in my mind, and I never even reviewed them during the course of/after any game.

It's really the closest pool I've been in at this stage of the season, usually the first position is almost usually decided by now.

Early congratulations to you toma for the yellow cap! Thought I had a fighting chance as Arsenal did look like they were going to get their third for another exact score but it stayed and you leapt into first place -- nice!

2nd and 3rd (me and Harko) have the exact same scoreline as you, couldn't have known that unless locked in so whatever happens, you take yellow cap Wink 2-1 the absolute favourite scoreline tonight, so just need Brentford to smack one in... and a few brave fellas picking the draw (hasn't United taught us enough to dare though?) will hope for more.

important win for us over Chelsea (hedged in the pool with Chelsea win, but hopped for the best), Richarlison scored, but it is on Lampard, he obviously had some good vibes with Chelsea, avoiding relegation is still far away, but this one keeps up in the race with Leeds, do think that Burnley is secured, with three wins in a row and good form

Just saw also that it was Azpi error that led to the goal, seems like he was also at fault a couple of games ago against Arsenal,,, and then of course there is the defensive error that led to other goals, like it seems to be a trend for their last few games now, the mark of a defence that is not at their peak of confidence.

Everton will most likely stay up as their other competitors are not exactly reliable. Good luck Smiley

Those correct scores do really make the different as from I understand those give you the slam points which determines the winners if it is so close like it is for this week.

slam points are based on number of results picked correctly, five results one, eight results two, ten results three, but not on exact scores
for slam points does not matter if you have only result, close one or exact
