Finally this match has Crystal Palace they will slightly avoid the relegation zone... although I myself did not watch this match because it was less interesting.
It will be a perfect week for Crystal Palace if both Everton and Wolves take points off each other. 3 of the 4 teams below them would have dropped points,
Crystal Palace still won't be comfortable if Everton win tonight.

and Chelsea are very likely to beat Southampton to make it 4.
It would be crazy if Chelsea were held to a draw by Southampton... but the likelihood of Chelsea winning given current form is promising.

I see West Ham getting into the relegation battle soon if they continue their run of form.
Although West Ham will enter the relegation battle but usually West Ham will survive relegation.

Aston Villa's next CL game is against Leipzig, which is a must-win game for both teams, especially for Leipzig to avoid elimination and move to play in form Monaco after facing Arsenal in the league. I honestly don't see how they'll be able to survive these games with their current squad depth.

Lucky have made their way into the CL, but they lack squad depth; the Europa or Conference leagues are more appropriate for them.

Leipzig has been super horrible, can't believe what's happening to them. Even in local league they are losing easy games. Monaco is surprise package, nobody rated them in top half, but I think this is English and Spain season, regardless of how they look like on the table.

Your right about Europa being for them tho. Newcastle smashed PSG in their first game, Villa smashed Bayern, but after that, no squad depth. Speaking of Newcastle, I bet you they give Liverpool problems (even if they lose).

Ipswich vs Crystal Palace and Leicester vs West Ham tonight.
Ipswich game look like a draw and has started that way, difficult to pick between the teams with what is at stake for the teams on the lower end... they need to start focusing on taking. I had to go against my better judgement and pick a Palace win, I hope I am proven wrong.

Don't bet the team below will be difficult to predict, for me who is definitely like a big team, this possibility will be easy to predict.

Ed Sheran is an Ipswich fan? Just got a glimpse of him in the crowd.

Ipswich vs Crystal Palace and Leicester vs West Ham tonight.

Two big games down at the lower end of the table, West Ham have a bit of breathing space but the other three really can’t afford to consistently keep losing.

Went with Ipswich today so hopefully they win a game and boost their rank. I think Crystal palace isnt doing very well this season and for them this is a hard away games honestly. While Leicester and West Ham should be a rough game. So hopefully a positive start to this round for me. Hard to predict teams on the bottom of the league

Shocked
I almost didnt see next round of Premier League is scheduled for this midweek, and strangely there are no Championship matches this time.
Looking at this odds on Manchester City and I have a strange feeling about this one, there is no way low odds like this is justified even if they win against Nottingham.
It might be worth taking some asian handicap on away team, I dont see them losing with big goal difference.

You could see something isn't right with City - they miss Rodri too much. We smelled the blood and didn't let go, 11 points is a huge gap but we need to keep winning.
Rodri was heart of this team and I think it all fall apart after he got injured, not even mighty Haaland can save them.
Maybe they will adapt in second part of the season and start to play better, there are rumors Man City is already looking for another player to buy as a replacement.
I dont see how they can win Premier League this season with 11 points less than Liverpool.

Rodri is the best player in the world and this shows why he deserved that reward im the first place. Haaland cannot score because he dosent get that many chances like he did before and its really hard when a striker dosent score to score again. Man City i think dosent stand a chance this year at the title

I think they got through a lot of tough fixtures already, and maybe if they win one more UCL game they will breathe easier. I still think if their strikers are fit and keep scoring, then they are actually more reliable than Newcastle, Spurs, honestly even Manchester United. They look good but should see how tired they were in last 15 minutes versus Bodoe. Amorim needs one season to bring their fitness back up.

They should give up the cups for sure Tongue

Maybe we have to count on Aston Villa instead, apart from today's game Smiley

Aston Villa? If it were the beginning of the season, I would have said maybe, but not in their current form. Aston Villa have lost it; the team appears to be extremely fragile. They started the season brilliantly, but European games, along with league cup and league games, have exhausted the team. No good squad depth.

I don't trust Spurs; Manchester United is looking good with Amorim, and if the players can stay fit, they will fight for the top 4.

LFC with a dominant performance, what a pleasure to see us play so well in a game of such importance.

Toon and Everton away from home next, I think we can get all 6 points. Newcastle isn't playing great and although we don't usually have good results at Goodison, Everton isn't a team we should fear.

Isak went off injured in Newcastle’s last game, would be good for us if he misses out. Everton are always a horrible team to play at Goodison. It’s almost like their whole existence is just to try and stop us winning trophies. Their fans are feral, it’s always a tough game for us.

It’s the last Merseyside Derby before they move to their new stadium next season. Let’s make it a miserable day for them. It would be absolutely huge for us if we are able to get 6 points this week.

I never was worried about Arsenal or Chelsea. City is always consistent and they are the main threat for Liverpool in EPL. It feels good that we are way ahead now. Confidence is at the top too.

@buwaytress, you must be excited?

I guess you could say that, yeah. The Slot machine is proving to be racking better numbers than the Klopp beast. And the way we were playing against City proves he doesn't always have to make pragmatic boring. So yeah, my Slot stamp of approval finally arrives. He's now set expectations so high fans will want at least one major trophy and might even call just that a slight disappointment.

Of course I'm excited!

Indeed. Arsenal are on fire, they're getting back all their people. Odegaard plus Saka wow. Just Arteta has to manage them properly, taking them off early was a good move, he will need them to scratch all the available points in December.

I don't think we can trust Manchester United or Tottenham, man. Good coaches but does not change their players are too volatile or too poor to rely on.

Maybe we have to count on Aston Villa instead, apart from today's game Smiley

Chelsea improved their game a lot. The team is young and it's paying off.  High voltage match next. Liverpool vs City. Fasten your seatbelt 😁

Never seen City play that bad against a top side like that, you guys dominated them from start to the end, they're not looking good and would take a miracle for them to come back to the title race.

We're not not in for the title this season, just playing and winning our games to make sure we play champions League next season.

Super solid match from Liverpool side, we know this Manchester city is down the hill but Liverpool amke them little yesterday.

Slot seems to have find the correct position for everyone, in my side im very happy to see Macallister is a suepr high level.

Anyways nobody has to think this is over..... we already see Manchester City comesback but this time the relation between players and Guardiola seems very bad.

i'm starting to lose hope with Man City. they lost again today, making it their 7th loss in a row across all competitions so far. 4 of those losses are in the Premier League.
poor Guardiola, he's going to go from wanting to hurt himself to something worse.
What exactly is wrong with Pep Guardiola to lose in a row for 4x is it because Rodri is too long absent to affect all his tactics?
This is the fall that keeps falling down the endless stairs, or is it possible that Manchester City will start like United the previous season? Tongue
What a mess...

It is actually a nine point gap. Except if you are considering City to be the real contenders. Arsenal and Chelsea are locked by all metrics for second place.

I was referring to City this time but yeah - 9 points would have been more precise.

I still consider City to be the main rivals for the title - that's why my main focus is on them. Both Arsenal and Chelsea had clean and convincing wins though.

Liverpool have been getting the job done at the first time of asking all season. Winning the European champions and English champions in the space of 5 days is very impressive.

11 points is a huge gap but we need to keep winning.
