Stop using that horrible shirt Liverpool, every time i see Liverpool with that white/green shirt they do like shit.

Manchester United needs to re-think his whole strategy for the next seasons, and the main question as always is. Is ETH the correct guy for this?, the same goes for Chelsea and Pochetino.

After the first half, the odds for City to win were 1.54 and it was really tempting, but in this round I expect one of the favorites to lose points so I don’t take the risk.~

I admit that at some point I began to doubt that I had missed such a fat multi-bet (Arsenal, City, Liverpool), but unfortunately Liverpool confirmed my fears and played a draw.
In a tournament sense, this is a pleasant result (City is still third) and each team is interested not just in winning, but in trying to beat Arsenal in terms of goal difference.
In the next round, as in this one, there will be two formal games and a championship round: Arsenal - Aston Villa.

As expected, Liverpool slip up after a couple of hard fought wins in recent weeks. I have been expecting them to drop points first and the momentum swings back to North London. Game on.

I have to say that I did not expect Arsenal to win so dominantly today.
When the teams are so close to each other, having a big GD gives you that extra bit of leeway and they are increasing it even further.
It's basically an extra point for them at this point in time.

To be fair to them, they have the best attack and the best defence in the league so far - statistically, they deserve the title. They have the hardest schedule until the end though - so let's see where they end up.

No matter the fantastic statistics, I still have them behind both Liverpool and City.

Yeah. I watched it properly until the penalty. I had given up hope already by then, Brighton were just lost at sea and Arsenal are playing with some kind of weird confidence you don't even see City have any longer.

Agree they deaerve a title shot but football is not much about deserve heh, and I still think they are vulnerable as soon as their aura wears off. What a gd they have though! Can't see Liverpool overcoming that unless we get another big outsized win. Maybe today? Haha

Whatever happens come end of the season, this Arsenal has grown immensely. The Arteta rebuild has taken this side from barely getting into the top half to a top thing in the league. If we can make it to the semi final of the champions league, the European rebuild would have started already.

With two or three top signing next window and one or two sales, it will be a perfect year.

It is true that when Arsenal were growing rapidly, Arsenal also had an advantage because of their good play and strong defense. with yesterday's match against Brighton they were ahead by scoring 3 goals, that is of course a good point to be able to maintain their ranking in the standings, but even so they can't just relax, they have to keep training to face other big and strong teams, like in the upcoming match against Bayern Munich, who doesn't know this strong team. Maybe Arsenal could have difficulties against Bayern Munich, but we don't know for sure, so we'll just have to wait for this hot match.
In my opinion, Arsenal have additional work to do with Manchester City and Liverpool having a small difference in points, of course this is a pressure for them, because both of these teams are also strong teams. like Manchester City, which this season has always performed well compared to United, which has performed less well recently.

Arsenal on the other hand showed against Porto that they don't feel as comfortable under CL lights.
The match against Porto showed me how the team can dig into their reserves and fight out a win, even if it goes all the way. We will be ready to go all the way over both legs, extra time or penalties. Bayern on the other hand have not been in this position before where they are not performing in the league and are about to lose it with 5 games to spare, there is no assurance or confidence in the squad and worst of all, they are not protecting leads. It is anyone's game really.

I think Arsenal just needs one top striker who can also be a target man. There aren't many on the market. Kane is out of their limits probably and then it leaves only Toney maybe.
Isak is another option who I admire. Osimhen may be too expensive and has not played in the league yet, spend half of that and get me Toney or Isak, a right winger and a solid central midfielder.

Arsenal has grown a lot but I don't think they will pass Bayern in CL. Bayern is in terrible form but they have CL experience. That shows best on Real Madrid example, they always win CL games even when they are nowhere to be seen for most of the match. Arsenal on the other hand showed against Porto that they don't feel as comfortable under CL lights.

All that remains from Bayern is the brand, the experience that the club has in a historical sense will not be played on the field. Last year they were destroyed by City, the year before they were knocked out by Villarreal. If Arsenal, which has been continuously progressing in recent years, knocks out Bayern, it will not be surprising continuation of thus trend.
Bayern have Kane but their results this season are worse than last, if you do not take into account the Bayern “brand” then Arsenal should be a bigger favorite than they are currently listed.

I don't have hope left LOL. To be honest I thought the match day is tomorrow, now I checked and discovered I missed many matches. I also missed to pick Serie A where I was not doing bad at all. Bad time management.

Arsenal performance was surprising for me as well because I was not expecting them to have win like this all players were doing good job and their defense and attack were at the top with no chance for the Brighton to have anything positive from this game now as they are heading for the big game against Bayern Munich having win like this give them good booster and chance as well for having another good win against troubled Bayern Munich which lost today as well.
Now next 11 days are going to be toughest for them while they will be host Bayern Munich then Aston Villa and again going to Munich for the second leg game which are surely going to be not easy for them.

I was never expecting him to put Foden on the bench against Palace away even though he made a hat-trick 3 days ago. Kevin De Bruyne was the most important name for the team to make the comeback by playing great today.
Foden is Pep Guardiola's favorite son and he will be specialized for the Champions League match. Cheesy

My speculation is that Pep already knows that the match with Palace will win.

Over to Liverpool now to win at Old Trafford tomorrow. 4.8 odds on United to win is worth a shot. They have been erratic all season, hopefully tomorrow is one of those days they put up a good shift, maybe for a draw.
Not daring to take the chances of Manchester United this team is really erratic but Liverpool's chances are much greater to catch up with the points left behind now.

If the draw then Manchester United's performance is good. Tongue

At this rate Bayern Munich could have lost the Bundesliga officially before the second leg, will improve the odds of Arsenal.

City and Liverpool seem to be fond of conceding early goals I have been itching to bet live on first 10 minutes goal for their opponents but never got my timing right.

Question is, is this just incidental or is this a probable pattern with teams who want to dominate from the offset?

Arsenal seem the complete opposite.

In my opinion, such bets are pure gambling, by the way, what was the odds?

The score is already 4-1 in favor of City and it is obvious that it is not City that will lose points in this round. Eh, +54% could have been done in literally an hour, but I didn’t believe in this possibility.

When we look at the remaining matches of the 3 teams in the championship race, Liverpool will have taken a big step on the road to the championship if they manage to win against Manchester United away this week. My biggest fear is that Liverpool are having difficulties against Manchester United quite much this season. They were eliminated by their opponent in the FA Cup and got a draw by 0-0 at Anfield.

Generally speaking, it is difficult to imagine that Liverpool will not reach a single win out of 3 games against a team like United, so a bet with odds of 1.61 looks attractive. But after all three leaders simultaneously won in the previous round, I have concerns that in this round someone may lose points, so I won’t place a bet for now. First, we need to see how the game ends for City, which is experiencing problems and the live odds are already 1.45.

Well, United (Manchester and Newcastle) and Chelsea are all mid clubs anyway  Grin

Arsenal return to the top of the table today. Hopefully one of the mid clubs take a point from Liverpool tomorrow and we remain there.

Injuries are a part of football. A. Villa and Newcastle have been hit by injury crisis this season, they have spent far less than Man. United but are still performing fairly good in comparison. The problem I have with Ten Hag is the lack of a style of play, with or without injuries.

Yes, but losing 60% of your first team players to long-term injury is a problem not only for the club, but also for the coach. Prior to the Newcastle injuries, Chelsea and Manutd had been struggling with injuries since last season, but I'm not going to talk about Chelsea because Poch is shit; he did nothing when all of these players were available, whereas ETH Manuted was pushing for the title and a strong Top4 when all of his players were available.

Arsenal suffered some injuries last season and squandered a big lead to Manchester City. Newcastle went from fighting for a top-3 spot to losing seven games in a row due to injury.

ETH is handling a very difficult job + fans pressure.
