Liverpool vs Chelsea, what do you think Igebotz?
Dont ask ex sheriff to tell you his prediction for this derby match, he is working as undercover cop with BSFL Mafia.  Grin
Tottenham vs West Ham should be interesting match with lot of goals to open this round.
I dont trust West Ham this season but this odds for home win are ridiculously low.

Expecting the worst while hoping for the best- just asking for a little bit of luck this time but I'm confident the boys would take full point. A tough test for Slot.

I just don't think you should be expecting the worse, lets have some confidence in the team, what's the worst that can happen? It's a tough test for both Slot and Enzo, both managers are under the same pressure to win. The only upper hand here is, it's Anfield but don't forget Chelsea have been so good when we play away from home. I would had been more scared if it was a home game for us.

I should put my house on this???  Grin the last time Aston Villa lost a game to Fulham Manutd and Newcastle made Top4. Once upon a time eh....
Fulham are yet to lose at home this season, playing very well, scoring goals for fun. I do not think Villa will have it easy against Fulham regardless of what history has to say. I will not be putting my house on it, but I expect Villa to win and build momentum for their Champions league game against Bologna.

Missed this response haha so getting to it now Wink They started having towels by the balls after Delap, so people could wipe them down for the long-range throw in, Klopp actually also hired the first throw-in coach in the league I believe, some seasons ago, not sure it improved what we did but I noticed we did things different for a while (and then last couple of seasons gave away a lot).

Oh man you Sabi ball - It got to the point where defenders were clearing the ball to corner kick instead of throw- in against Stoke. I didn't know much about the Liverpool guy, but there was this guy from Sunderland who continued the dart art throw-in after Delap left the league.

Quote
Ramos is for me the embodiment of dark art defending, not sure we really have an English equivalent but Delap is a worthy mention!

Pepe started dart art defending, but Ramos took it to the next level. Kompany tried it but it wasn't just there....

^^^ Nice thinking Slam, and I'm also inclined to think there's excellent value in a Villa win, so I might copy your bet but also do a Brentford/Villa acca (for 11/1).  ETH can't lose this one though, he might even play for a draw.

I'm also thinking Brighton at 35/10 look pretty vs an out-of-sorts, possibly Isakless Newcastle...

Boy nothing is beating Stoke City dark art throw-in - give them 3 throw-ins and be rest assured they're getting at least 1 goal. Who remember that era?? Delap the masterpiece.. Grin

Right? Usually free money is 1.8x but this is like almost 3x and they're a great team with 100% record in CL. No injury either, Konsa is the only one but its not like they need him to win.

VAR is an easy blame, but it's a part of the game. VAR gives bad decisions not only against you but all the teams. Anyway, I was checking odds and it seems bookmakers have different idea than you.

Too easy to spread the VAR curse across eh!!! A typical Liverpool fan.

The olds are not Even and we have cryptofrka offering an equal side bets. Lol - get 1mbtc if Liverpool wins, I get 3mBTC if Chelsea win/draw.  Cool

Lol. I'm going to be mad if Liverpool gets a point from this game; the best player in the league plays for us, and we're not going to settle for a draw. Our problems against Liverpool has been our attackers scoring too many offside goals (mostly due to VAR removing our onside goals), being the best team and still losing, but things may be different now. We have a full available squad and James could get a piece of cake in this game.

I think is a pretty nice bet that one of you, both are very possible wins, and the odds are quite high for both, Leicester is the one who gave me more doubt. Aston Villa only doubt is the same as always the play better against big teams and worse against weakers ones.

Leicester looks a doubt yes but Southampton have not given any good reason for anyone to think they will win. Everton seems the same on paper but they know how to score a lot of goals even in losing. Which is not the same as Southampton who have the lowest goals in the league.

Aston Villa, yes, they are a risk but I like the odds.

2.78 Odd for Aston Villa against Fulham? Is this a trap or free money for the weekend, this is not a CL week and if there's no injury concern for Villa ( Iazy to check now) they should be able a nap a full point here.

What's interesting for me this weekend is that Leicester City and Aston Villa are showing very good odds. Multibet them and you get 8x, I mean Fulham and Southampton are at home but one is facing a Champions League perfect runner and one is a bottom club.

Is something wrong here or am I making a wise pick Smiley

Brentford vs Manchester United is also very interesting. Old Trafford is like a childrens playground to take free candy IMO.

I'm with you guys. Can't wait for the Prem to resume. NL football got me down so bad I almost feel the kind of regret I haven't in months haha. Really need me some good old English action to pick me up.

Nope, I'm actually in decline. Out of LMS, will lose a sidebet with Slissy, close to losing sidebets with buwaytress FFS.
I need fresh meat.

If it's any consolation, I'm back in relegation zone, like I seem to be every season end. Not sure I can keep making it out alive. I've already called myself the Everton of Div1, but Everton also looked doomed this season.

What I offered is 1.95 currently on Sportsbet's betbuilder, so a fair deal. The bet was meant to be for banter considering he's a Chel$ki fan, I can take it anywhere but probably won't.
We both are from the same side. flumpnuggets is not interested so no fun LOL

Ooo but we've always needed one of those teams, didn't we? Didn't realise it would be lightweight Arsenal doing it after Vieira era long gone. Definitely shouldn't be too surprised Arteta was the instigator. I'm not even mad at all. Newcastle shithousery isn't so nice to see but Arsenal seems to get under everyone's skin. Actually looking forward to meeting their new look dark art bois.

Could be, I'm not rulling out the possibility.

Liverpool are top of the league, but I somehow feel they could play way better than they were, especially in the last 2 EPL games. This break may be what they need to get their team to the next level and Chelsea is a fair test to show their title challenge mettle.
We are doing only enough to win matches so far. Except the match against Forest, it was not that enough to even get a single point. These breaks never helped us but hope this time it will be helpful and we will have a good match in Anfield.

Liverpool always lose their form after the breaks. It happened many times with us. The next match is against Chelsea and in Anfield. A draw or even losing all three points would not surprise me.

True, but I didn't want to use those words because whomever is in charge of Arsenal's set piece training should be sent to jail before every GK in the league suffers shoulder and hip injuries from Ben White, Gabriel, and Saliba pressing.
Gabriel is usually the one waiting to benefit from the chaos the other players create and you just reminded me of White's absence this past weeks, he would have come in handy against City and Haaland's pettiness.

Newcastle shithousery isn't so nice to see but Arsenal seems to get under everyone's skin. Actually looking forward to meeting their new look dark art bois.
Newcastle sometimes play a different era of football and I love it except when we play away against them.

Really can't wait for PL to start again. These international breaks are killing me.
I never understood though why national teams play such boring football. Take England for example, that team is really full of talent yet they never show it.

It will be Kelleher I think. He has stood in for Alisson before and done pretty well.
I guess we are going to find out soon in next match against Chelsea and then against Leipzig in Champions League.

And perfectly healthy players to get injured. Just look what happened to Saka and Havertz. Don't know the details but if Arsenal lost both in addition to loosing Odegaard earlier it will be a big blow for their title hopes.
They are just playing to many matches, and most affected are players from England and Premier League.
It is impossible for everyone to stay healthy, this is simple math.
I heard that Salah was released from next international match because pitch condition is terrible and could cause another injury.
