It's not just a coin, you need perfect time for buying. I'm a bitcoin supporter and if you plan to buy bitcoin moment is now or you should wait more and buy in dip. Couple articles wrote about 50% correction and drop on 10k, I don't think that price will go so low but we never know.
For eth many people claim its undervalued so maybe this is a good chance to buy eth under 1000 dollars. Both are food coins just you need to find good time for buying.

I would go ethereum if I had to choose, but right now is the worst time to buy it.

Bitcoin and ethereum aside, you're likely to make more money investing in alts.

I want to start  trading , should  i buy Bitcoin or Etheureum first ?
Bitcoin is the biggest and the most popular cryptocurrency, but if you are starting now go for ethereum because it is more profitable than bitcoin for now.

I think you start trading Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is the king in cryptocurrency, ETH is still only 1 Altcoin

Both are good options but BTC pairs are more compare to ETH. So, you will have more opportunities if you start trading with BTC pairs.

I'd suggest on starting on bitcoin, though it is correct that both are good but bitcoin is a lot more easier to earn than ethereum. There is a lot of signature campaigns here in this forum that pays bitcoin, but there are also signature campaigns that pays token which you could sell to earn bitcoin or ethereum, it depends on what exchange they are available.

Until now, people had been suggesting bitcoin and ethereum for trading investments but time has changed now and you should change your trading strategy also. I have seen people highly recommending ripppe coin after bitcoin. Ripple is intended to be used by banks internally and may gain higher valuein future. So, i think you should change the idea of ethereum and turn to bitcoin and ripple

Both are good choices to start trading. I'm using both, depending on the situation and which one has more advantages. You can choose Bitcoin, it has a very good development history and also many people choose to trade. I think most traders today are using Bitcoin in their business. If you have less capital you can choose ETH, it's also growing quite strong. Many other altcoins are also based on the Ethereum platform. If possible, start with both, I think it will give you more experience.

If you really want to go for trading as a starter I'd suggest trade in smaller coins. Of course bitcoin and ethereum are some big and promising coins, but considering you as new to trading, you should trade with ethereum to be on the safer side, as it has a stable value. Bitcoin on the other side has really high price and also unstable  so it's too risky to start with it.
You should always split your investment, that is you should invest little in different projects, this reduces the chances of huge loss.
And ripple is also one alternate promising cryptocurrency.
Go for the bitcoin mate it is the most promising at this time and it has already given a lot to the people and tis acceptance as payment is also in trend so the best option to start trading is bitcoin eth is also promising but it will take time for the eth to rise like bitcoin and give profit like bitcoin, bitcoin will stay forever and its future scope is also vast so there is no constraint in bitcoin so choose it and it will bless you,

Start trading by buying bitcoin. And trade short, buying altkoins for their bitcoins, and then with an increase in the price, sell altkoins for bitcoins. So you can increase your number of bitcoins. But keep in mind that trading on the stock exchange is a very risky business. You can earn as much, and lose a lot.

I suggest you start trading by buying a very cheap coin first if among the 2 options I suggest you start with ETH first because with the ETH the cheaper price will get a lot of profits and avoid the risk of being stuck at a very high price.

if you decide to buy ethereum, first you need to check the price is it at the high price or not so you can buy at the cheap price and then you can wait for the increase of the price. but for bitcoin, I think you can buy bitcoin in any of the prices and although the price is down, you don't have to sell your bitcoin but you only need to wait for the price is back increase. if you have a big amount of money, you can buy bitcoin and ethereum at the same time so you can have two coins and sell it once both bitcoin and ethereum price increase again.

Both is ok. I prefer to Ethereum a bit more. Bitcoin maybe a bit more safe, but Ethereum is more potential. Just in my opinion, you should make decision yourself.

In my opinion buy Ethereum because the price of this coin is more stable than Bitcoin, Bitcoin price more fluctuasion than ETH so trading altcoin that paired with ETH can be more easy. But when the price of ETH bullish trend and the price of Bitcoin down trend you can sell the altcoin to Bitcoin to keep the capital from loss.

I suggest to start trading using ETH first, now many altcoin are using the ETH rate for their rate, bitcoin now expensive transaction fee so a bit heavy because you need big funds, but it's also up to you anyway, lately I'm trading using ETH rate in altcoin.

For me,that depends on how much money you're willing to invest in trading,if you have big capital then i recommend bitcoin but if you're low in capital then choose ether. But before you indulge in trading just make sure you have all the technical knowledge and know-how needed to do that.If not i would advice that you do some research first so that you can familiarize yourself to the various terms used. You can search google or watch youtube for some insights about trading.
