In women football big suprise is approaching. Brazil is leading against Spain 2:0 with about 30 minutes remaining. It's unexpected, Spain recently is biggest force in women football. In other semifinal USA got ticket to the final after scoring their only goal in extra time.
the Brazil - Spain semi finals is the most interesting and fascinating games I've watched in this edition of the Olympics football category. Was even more intensed than most of the male matches. The ideal thing I expected was a sure win for Spain with a slight resistance by the Brazilian side but the result was contrary to it. Right from the first error from the goal keeper that led to the first goal to the remaining three goals that Brazil scored, they showed full quality and dominance and didn't play like a teams whose 4 key players including the legendary mata was absent on the pitch. Even though the Spanish team played well and fought till the end of the match, every opportunity that Brazil ever had was a serious threat to the Spanish goal keeper and defence line. It's just fascinating to see a 9th place on the FIFA world ranking showing this level of quality against the best team in the world and going on to win 4:2 in a crucial Olympics semi finals.

I would like to congratulate a boy who was very strong this year and made me win some good money because we all believed in him and we did well, Mattia Furlani who 19 years ago his Olympic debut with an amazing 8.34 ( With a meter of wind against) it is simply incredible if he plays it with the best in the world.

Women speed climbing is very interesting because Poland athlete Aleksandra Miroslaw has broke her own world record in this tournament twice because for the first attempts she was made a record 6.21 second and second round is more impressive because he can reach 6.06 second and now this record is confirmed as the world record from women speed climbing so this result is makes her can able to quarterfinal today against the athlete from Spain Leslie Romero
However Aleksandra Miroslaw as the oldest athlete in this sport but her chances to gets the medal is very wide open and for quarterfinal i am sure she can able to beat Leslie Romero and qualified to the semifinal match

I think you would also be amazed by Cuban wrestler Mijaín López, as he has won gold medals in wrestling in every Olympic games starting from 2008. Beijing, London, Rio, Tokyo and now Paris. I dont remember any athlete, that has won Olympic gold medal 5 times in a row. I doubt that anyone could beat his record any time soon.

I have also read the news that IBA has classified Imane Khelif as a male because she has the same blood and chromosomes as a male. But if she is not transgender and has not made any changes to her body it will be difficult if she has a female physique but has male genes. But being a "male" in a "female" sport competition will indeed be very advantageous because of the physical advantages. Sometimes I wonder why someone with a problem with her genes chooses to compete in a female sport. But the IOC has allowed her to compete in women's boxing and now she will compete in the gold medal match. I think Imane Khelif will win the match because of the "advantages" that "she" has.

1.You are answering your own question. She competes in a female sport, because she has an "advantage" and because women with high levels of testosterone are more aggressive and competitive.
2.The IOC should've disqualified her(and the other boxer from Taiwan) before the Olympic tournament. I don't know why the IOC isn't disqualifying both boxers.
3.And no, Imane Knelif is not a male. She is a female with Y chromosomes. This is a rare genetic anomaly.
Anyway, the 2024 Olympics are a joke and I couldn't care less about them.

After taking a nasty shot to the eye from an elbow, LeBron James has been taken out of their game against Brazil. James has been putting in a ton of effort in these Olympic Games, so it isn’t surprising that he’s getting beat up a little bit. Ouch! Well, he is still aggressive which is why he will get hurt. That is a man who ain't afraid to attack the paint or take a beating even if he is at the age where most players are retiring.
Even if someone is a Lebron hater, that man just proved a lot of things and I doubt it will be easy to erase. The love for the game is still there and I don't think he will retire soon.

Anyway, we have the semifinals tomorrow in the men's basketball Olympics game. I predict Germany and the USA will be the winners and will be facing each other in the Finals to take the Gold. Still, I think team USA will be the winner here. There's just too much firepower in their roster and defensive players.

What kind of nonsense are you writing? "She" was disqualified by gender test results 2 times (and it wasn't about testosterone), she is a man.
Do you understand that if you let all sorts of mutants (or just men who pretend to be women) into the exclusive women's category, there won't be any women there at all? Anyone who is not 100% a woman should compete with men, I don't understand, is this really a complicated concept?

Another day of Olympics is going to end soon. There was many memorable moments again.
In men 1500m we have big suprise - Jakob Ingebrigtsen ended without medal as he was just 4th. Cole Hocker took gold with new Olympic Record.
In Women 200m USA took one more Gold, Gabrielle Thomas won race. Julien Alfred got silver, winning 2nd medal in whole Saint Lucia history.

So Gabrielle Thomas won the 200m for the US, I guess it's payback for Alfred beating her compatriot Richardson in the 100m. I really thought that Richardson is going to win but she just placed 2nd, thus a silver medal.

Congrats to Philippines as we for winning a another bronze medal in boxing. They already collected 2 golds, so far the biggest haul for them and amongst the top country in Southeast Asia in terms of gold so far.

I think no one wants to be born different from other people, so we can't exclude them just because they have abilities or shortcomings compared to others, because in terms of identity and gender, she has been declared a woman so there is no reason for us to keeps trying to stop him from fighting although he has strength equal to a man, but doesn't an athlete have to have a strategy other than relying on strength in boxing?
I think there are still ways to defeat someone who has more strength than us, so strength is not something that will be the main factor in achieving victory, of course I also realistically see that there is inequality in the match if we judge it only from strength, but I think we can't continue to bully her just because she is now able to reach the semifinals.

What you say actually I agree, if there is a distribution for each athlete who takes part in the competition as we have seen so far in the Paralympics, but isn't it quite difficult for the sports committee to divide athletes who have genetic disorders like Imane Khelif, because from what I read on google the potential for Swyer syndrome to occur is 1/80.000 births and not everyone who suffers from Swyer syndrome like Imane Khelif is an athlete, especially boxing, so I think it will be difficult for any sports committee to integrate it.

The French basketball team is removing NBA player Rudy Gobert from their starting lineup. Rudy Gobert is a defensive player of the year in the NBA and probably makes more than the rest of the French team combined by a large margin. This is a bit of an embarrassment for Rudy I’m sure and for the NBA even.

There is no doubt about that, she was supposedly born a woman, and because of her XY chromosomes she is like that, but she has similar conditions with her finalist rival, no offense but they Both look like men, so I think that sometimes these types of competitions Should be divided when there are cases like this, there should be a division only for people with these capabilities, although I don't know how they could integrate it, but that woman is obviously not at the level of a woman , She is at the Strength levels of a man , it's that with her gestures , how she sits, how she speaks, how she moves, it's like seeing two men.

It is France against Spain in Olympics football tournament final, like most people expected to see, but first we are going to see match for third place.
Morocco is playing against Egypt and I think they are winning this one with support of their crowd, but it wont be an easy win.
They played very good in semi-final match and Spain scored winning goal few minutes before the end.
I think we can see both teams scoring and maybe extra time for Morocco vs Egypt.

It is a shame that these athletes with their entire lives to get on the Olympic stage and these games are being used as some woke memorial. Such a shame and a disservice to the people who these games are about. The Olympics aren’t going to be around for much longer if they don’t get their priorities straight.

As always it is a race between China and United States for the bigger number of medal.

France is doing greatly but they are at home and that is a big factor.

The first semi-finalist in volleyball has been determined. Turkey beat China 3-2 and advanced to the semi-finals.

We are proud of our girls, they showed us a great match.

Now they will be paired with the winner of the Serbia-Italy match.

I watched the match and it was very thrilling.  Smiley  I'm so happy that we have finally reached beyond quarter finals in an Olympics volleyball tournament in history. We had a really challenging competitor against us and honestly I was thinking like we would probably lose. Not having my expectations too high helped me become 2x satisfied.

Now we are waiting for our next competitor. It is going to be Italy or Serbia. If we are able to beat China I believe we can do much more. We are a volleyball country as you know.  Wink  Let's go for the gold medal!

Vinesh Phogat actually stunned so many including me by defeating the reigning Olympic Champ(Yui Susaki) in seconds like it was nothing. Unbelievable stuff by the Indian grappler.

On top of that, she actually managed to defeat another pro(Livach) a little while earlier and entered the semifinals. Legend! Also, Neeraj Chopra qualified for the final by almost hitting 90m. Another legend!

Vinesh Phogat actually created a lot of controversy, by alleging that Brij Bhusan Saran Singh is sexually abusing women athletes. And this in turn resulted in an all out caste war between the more numerous Jats (who supported INDI alliance during last elections) and the less numerous Rajputs (who mostly support NDA). If she wins either a gold or silver, it will be celebrated as a blow against the ruling alliance. BTW, glad to hear that Neeraj is in good form. He is an active soldier in the Indian army (4 Rajputana Rifles), so I have a lot of respect for him.
