I did it because I had extra money, because when I didn't have extra money I wouldn't do it. Besides, it's true what you said, the victory I got might be a big victory for other people because our financial levels are different too, I also allocated money with that amount not because I could afford it because I had extra money and my own needs had been met so I dared to allocate that amount of money, I myself considered it a fairly large amount.

I myself, if the goal is to seek profit, maybe what I do is continue the gambling session by increasing the bet amount or sticking to the previous bet amount and waiting for luck to happen. But what I think is that luck will not come every time so what I do is withdraw the profits that have been obtained.

Statistics greatly favor the hopeful who wins the lottery once, because it is likely that they continue to win it 2, 3, 4 or more times, I don't know why, but I have a clear example, where I live we have a friend who has won car raffles more than 5 times, his garage was filled with cars that only he has won in the raffles, and I still remember at the university when a Chilean professor stated that someone who wins the lottery has more chances of winning it again, so they can become rich more than once, the important thing about this is knowing how to manage the funds and money that comes to them.

Without management then everything will be gone, it might not that instantly but it will surely be hitting up there on which it come into a point that you have already lost everything and this is the time or moment that you will be trying out to get worried on the time that you've seen your money is almost depletes out and this is where you will be trying out to find up some ways that you wont be losing it all but we do know that its already too late into this aspect on which we know that recovery will really be that hard but of course there's still chance but on the moment that you are on a desperate state then you cant be able to think up well on what are the things that you would gonna do because you cant be able to determine out on how you would be getting back all of those money that you had spent out lavishly or simply short that regret will be always at the end.

In as much as it is good to help the needy but we don't have to go broke by helping the needy, there are those who gives out what they have just to impress others that don't have, we should know or have a limit towards whatever we are doing as to this regards, one can actually get rich through gambling if by virtue of things it happens that the person is lucky enough to have a jackpot winning and the money is appropriately managed by investing in business that can yield profits, a good financial management should be incorporated in ones life, there are those who had a one time life opportunity of getting huge amount of money at a spot but mismanagement has made them nothing but to live in regrets in all days of their life.

One of the reasons why I say that the ability to stop at the right time is a must for a gambler is because as you believe that in the end gamblers will continue to play because they feel that they have enough money from previous wins and intend to get a much bigger win, the reason is because getting a win is a "desire" and the name of the desire will never end and that is the reason why we better stop when we have succeeded in winning. There are those people who do able to hit up lotteries even just buying a few tickets on which you could be able to say that extreme luck of this world had shine upon them and this isnt something that do happen. Dealing up with lotteries on even just having that kind of aim on hitting up a jackpot will neither be happening on your life time or not.

In response to the OP, which raised a good discussion, I'd never get involved in lotteries again, especially state lotteries, because if I were a lucky winner of a big jackpot, I would have enough money to make it yield more without relying solely on luck. Of course I can continue to place bets, but for sporting reasons and without going beyond common sense.

I’d love to see a gambler win big and then just stop gambling. But it was not the real case. Most end up getting even more addicted to gambling, believing that they can hit the jackpot again. This kind of mindset is what leads them down a dangerous path and eventually losing it all.

Some say they will use their winnings to start a business, which is really a good thing. But if they can’t control their gambling habits, all of those things will disappear just as quickly. That is why we often see them back poor and struggling financially. Because of being satisfied, they become worse.

Smart person I must say in the sense that he has invested well what he won from absolute pure luck. In fact in my country and some others like Austria this is national lottery and it is very profitable for the persons who run it, in my case the state. I think I have tried to win this but when I saw mathematical possibilities to hit 6 from 49 you have to buy 13.xxx.xxx as I don't remember the number of tickets which is near 14 million tickets and the final price you win, the first price is usually lower compared to buying 14 million tickets which in many countries organizing the lottery is even illegal to buy such big number of tickets, they have set a limit to stop some crazy person trying to hit the win through mathematics and probability. It is lady luck who favored this guy and when such things are predestined to happen no one can stop them, so big congrats to him and if it were me definitely would have bought more tickets.

I agree that it has now become an ability, to stop. Because not every gambler can do that and even if with huge winnings, that only gives confidence to the gamblers that we still want to stay and continue because we've got a bunch of money in our hands.
But as we move on, that gives us little chance of winning it back until we finally realized that it's all gone forever and it's hard to recover it even if we chase it.

Becoming rich in gambling from the scratch is like a big superstition we need to scrutinize before taking it seriously. You need to use money to find Money except when you are lucky. We would not always have the mentality of becoming rich as gamblers when we frequently gambles with little bankroll. The rich knows what they are benefiting from gambling that's why they are not even afraid or bothered when they lose huge amounts of money. Gambling should be based on the numbers of risk we are ready to take. Well of course we can't lie that however and regardless of our purpose of gambling in essence one thing that victory is the result desired by everyone because in any case ending the game with a victory is always much better than you lose, and yes as you understand that this is the reason why a gambler must be really wise in utilizing the victory they get, because as you said that getting victory is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand.

This is the reason why the ability to stop at the right time is always recommended, because in any case in my opinion the real victory is when we can enjoy the results of the victory for whatever we want or need, so the advice and input to stop when winning does not mean wanting to stop you from a larger amount of victory but namely to prevent you from regret and also to give you the opportunity to enjoy the money from the victory.

I would, but I’m sure some changes would happen along the way. Yes, it is a smart move to get involved and put in some investments, as in this way we are also helping to slow down our gambling life. I believe this can happen in real life because when someone truly wants to change, they’ll find a way to change their life.

Hitting the jackpot in the lottery is pure luck, we can’t expect it to happen again. That is why we shouldn’t waste the money.
Of course, I will gamble and continue buying tickets, but not like before.
