Well , I do hope Medvedev beats Nadal that will make him retire from tennis as it's already time for the new generation to kick in. I also truly believe that Nadal have no chance against Medvedev who is in his prime game on AO and Nadal became an interview guy or someone who seeks attention way more than he deserves outside Tennis. Yea , he might be focus and stuff but he's neat near the form of Medvedev or at least this is how I'm seeing things right now...but the final can prove me wrong.

You bet well, Barty won the final  Cheesy
Barty really played a fantastic tournament from the start and justified her position as the top favorite to win the tournament.

Tonight's game is the one match I wasn't able to see, but I'm very happy Ash won!

I'm rolling my winnings over with a second bet on Ash for the French, US and Wimbledon titles:

French Open Women 2022 - Outright Winner Outright Winner Ashleigh Barty @ 6.00 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.30 mBTC
US Open Women 2022 - Outright Winner Outright Winner Ashleigh Barty @ 5.00 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.25 mBTC
Wimbledon Women 2022 - Outright Winner Outright Winner Ashleigh Barty @ 5.50 Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.28 mBTC

As for the men's final, it will be very uncertain, but I give a slight advantage to Nadal because of his experience and because he copes better with the pressure than Medvedev.
I remember that Nadal was injured and did not play for a very long time, it was even questionable whether he would play in Australia at all and he is now playing fantastic tennis despite all these problems.
It is amazing how he managed to prepare so well for this tournament after all the problems he had, his psyche and dedication to tennis are an example to others and that is why I believe in him and his victory in the final.

Yeh, from what I've seen through out this tournament, Nadal has remained composed and focused.

Was surprised for the Barty line -5.5 now? at 2.12. Collins to win a set 2.28, maybe I will put on that one.

I've just put a final wager on Ash Barty to win.  She's done well all tournament taking straight sets wins against all who've come up against her.

Ashleigh Barty - Danielle Rose Collins Match Winner Ashleigh Barty @ 1.20 Taken Amount: 0.10 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.12 mBTC

At the start of the Tournament, I also placed these longer term wagers on Ash:

Wimbledon Women 2022 - Outright Winner Ashleigh Barty Outright Winner 6.00 Bet amount:0.03 mBTC Possible Payout:0.18 mBTC
US Open Women 2022 - Outright Winner Ashleigh Barty Outright Winner 6.00 Bet amount:0.03 mBTC Possible Payout:0.18 mBTC
Australian Open Women 2022 - Outright Winner Ashleigh Barty Outright Winner 4.00 Bet amount:0.03 mBTC Possible Payout:0.12 mBTC

In the men's comp, I'll go for Nadal in the singles and Kokkinakis/N.Kyrgios in the men's doubles.

Rafael Nadal - Daniil Medvedev Match Winner Rafael Nadal @ 2.64 Taken Amount: 0.04 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.11 mBTC

and

T.Kokkinakis/N.Kyrgios - M. Ebden/M. Purcell Match Winner T.Kokkinakis/N.Kyrgios @ 1.42 Taken Amount: 0.04 mBTC Possible Payout: 0.06 mBTC

Its a tie break now in the second set with Barty looking like taking the title TBH.

I had Collins to win a set and after she broke Barty TWICE in the second set I really
thought my bet would be realised but Barty broke back to bring it to a tie break...

...and she takes the championship win.

Collins' service game just wasnt good enough today and though she broke Barty twice
it was more about Barty making too many errors.

Medvedev at 1.49 ML? Perhaps it will be a good bet for Nadal right now at 2.55. For sure this will be a great match but I guess they are overvaluing Medvedev here.

So I will go with Nadal ML here, even if he lose this game, I will be happy with the way they give the odds for a Nadal straight up win.
Those odds will move as the match comes closer. I will evaluate later ans see if there is some value to be found. For now I am leaning on over games. I don't believe this can end in less then 4 sets.

However, we have a women's final first and Barty should take this one easy unless some kind of extra pressure hits her. I don't expect it since she looked great so far. Very composed and with plethora of solutions in every point. My high stake bet is on Barty -3.5 and I will also take -4.5 and 2:0 in sets on other tickets.

No changes for the Money Line odds for Medvedev vs Nadal.

The Over though is more attractive now at 1.87 over 40.5 games. And if game will be extended to 5 sets (likely), then it is a good bet.

Was surprised for the Barty line -5.5 now? at 2.12. Collins to win a set 2.28, maybe I will put on that one.

No odds yet for Nadal vs Medvedev, but I'm thinking that Nadal will be the slight favorite when the betting lines is open. This is going to be a tough match, but I'm seeing Nadal might win this year in a 5 set marathon match.
Nadal will be the favourite is common things specially in the crowd will be very on his side but I believe this will not affect Medvedev at all can be seen in the previous 2 matches, maybe in this final there will be a new record but I don't think Medvedev will let that happen easily. If the betting are already open will choose Medvedev as the champion this time.
Did you see how Medvedev lost it and how he was yelling at the referee? If you haven't seen it, check out this video from Facebook.
He really doesn't need this kind of behavior but it seems that something made him really mad because he blew Tsitsipas off the court in the next 2 sets.
His anger makes him play better, so don't make him angry  Smiley
This is a special kind of concentration increase in Medvedev Wink To be honest, Medvedev had some grounds for his discontent and the right to express all this. Another question is that the form chosen for this does not always meet the standards of politeness, however, Daniil apologized for this after the match. In my opinion, Medvedev has some advantage in the final match, although I would not venture to call him the undisputed favorite. Medvedev's side has a more familiar and favorite court surface and a younger age, as well as already accumulated skill. Nadal has more experience on his side, the ability to deploy forces and a great desire to get ahead in terms of the number of grand slam wins in the great three.

Shure didnt Medvedev earlier call the audience "low in IQ"
after the match with Kyrgios

He is the player they love to hate.
I had Tsitsipas to win a set but Medvedev was pretty much in control judging by the score.

Potentially great final IMO now, I also have Medvedev to win !!

I don't really like the attitude of Medvedev, he is sometimes like a crying baby when he is not happy with some things. Also the bookies see Medvedev as the (big) favorite against Nadal; but I am tempted to place a small bet on Nadal. He can write history by winning his 21th grandslam.

Medvedev has a point honestly. Tsitsipas always does this talks to his coach or dad or even takes big breaks so he can talk over the phone with them while in the bathroom. This is a serious problem and he should be punished because of this.

OMG he was rightly annoyed and correct because Tsitsipas got a warning
for being coached later on. I dont agree with how Medvedev talked to the
chair umpire and he apologised after the match.

We have seen this before from Tsitsipas, taking his phone on his comfort break.

When Medvedev gets fired up it motivates him more it seems.

Didn't watch Nadal but I read he was well worth his victory. Scary as hell for my Tsitsi, that even if he overcomes the Russian now, he still has to find a way to not get overpowered by Nadal!
Anyway, not a bad tennis match to watch this ongoing semi... I still think Tsitsi could have made it easier for himself in the first set, but least he's won this one as easy as you can expect. Medvedev serve, what a weapon.
But the crowd, wow, I totally didn't expect them to get behind Tsitsi. I know Medvedev is a bit of a whiner but...

Great win for Medvedev as he played really well in the final parts of the game. I think, Tsitsipas also played well but Medvedev was just better than him.

Tsitsipas was able to get the 2nd set 4-6 to equalize Medvedev's first set win but after that Medvedev won 2 straight sets and the game proceeded to the finals to face Nadal. I think the finals are gonna be a nail biter but I think I will opt for Nadal.

I don't think he will, Nadal isn't that sort of player. Djokovic would have, certainly, but not Nadal.

Nadal is actually a master of it - he just does it more intelligently than most. He will take years in preparation before every serve - Medvedev will probably complain 50 times.

I just looked at the odds - shame. Medvedev is portrayed as a strong favorite, not much value in choosing him to win. I will probably skip betting on this - I see nothing of interest.

I definitely agree with this. Medvedev does complain sometimes, and he does seem to get agitated mentally, but his play remains quite separate, it doesn't affect his play unless to make him better. It may be a stereotype, but it's true that despite the anger, or beneath it, he has some of that Russian coolness under pressure, he remains a remorseless winning-machine.

Let's first see who he'll play against, personally he would be a favorite against Tsitsipas but not against Medvedev.
Should be a good match coming up, I expect a big battle and at least 4 sets. I went with less greedy Tsitsipas to take set bet after I lost my over bet on Nadal. I blame Berrettini for that one, he should have gotten to tie break in at least one set. Tsitsipas really grew trough the tournament and if he continues like that I expect him to even win. But we all know how it finished last year, 3:0 for Medvedev so hopefully revenge time.

I think as others have expected including myself, it will be Nadal vs Medvedev in the finals. Medvedev is leading the 4th set, 4-1, and won sets 1 and 3. And for sure he will want to close out Tsitsipas in this set so that he won't give him a chance. Otherwise a 5th and deciding set will be needed and it will just extend Medvedev again. So there is no revenge for Tsitsipas unfortunately.
Yep, Medvedev just blow Tsitsipas in the 4th set, it was quick and swift, 6-1 score.

So there we have it, Nadal vs Medvedev now, and then we have Barty vs Collins in the women's side.
