In my opinion, both the teams have almost equal chances now. England have scored close to 50% of the target and they still have 7 wickets on hand. For Australia, the pacers are taking the wickets and bowling well, but the spinners have failed miserably (I had suggested after the second test to replace Nathan Lyon). We'll get a result today, but it is almost impossible to predict.

England's best advantage is they are batting fourth day not fifth day and pitch is not going to help too much bowlers so they need to bat with patience if want to won this match and Root is key for them to win if he is going to stay for some time then surely they can win this match and level the series for me tomorrow first session could be important for both teams.

If England wins, it will be 10th highest successful chase in test cricket history. Despite being worse situation of the pictch, it has now turned into flexible for them. Would be better if England wins, otherwise, Ashes will not be that much interested.

It does not matter whether he gets ban (or whatever) by it or not, the point in the first place why publish a picture which can create a lot of doubt.

Coming to the match: Agarwal got out for just 16 runs. Looks like the decision was wrong and it wasn't reviewed.

LOL.. all of a sudden the odds seems to have shifted to England's side. They still need another 222 runs, but at this rate they should be able to achieve it. But if Australia can get either Root or Denly out, then the tables will turn upside down. I am not sure who is going to win this match, but I will tell you one thing. This is the most exciting test match that I have watched so far this year!!

Joe Root and Joe Denly have managed to developed a good partnership. At one time England was looking weak in this chase but now with this partnership the England chances are looking bright. What a test match we are having where a few wickets or runs shift the match in the favor of the other team.

Right now England has become favorite but few wickets can make Aussies favorites again. Can't get my eyes off the tv screen Wink

The partnership between Denly and Root has now crossed 100 runs. Australia should get worried now. They should not allow this partnership to grow further. Their biggest disadvantage now is that their spinners (Lyon and Labuschagne) are not at all looking effective. The pacers are bowling their heart out, but this is the 4th innings and they need some support from the spinners.

The third test match of Ashes 2019 is getting exciting. England needs more 258 to level the series while Australia in need of 8 wickets.Root is still on the crease and probably the big hope for England. Australia needs some quick wickets. I am missing Starc at the moment who could have been a dangerman for England. But still, there are Hazlewood, Cumins who can be the hero of this big match.

Root is doing his job very well now. So far 46 not out.

England seems recovered well from the initial collapse they had. This partnership already added 84 runs. Now Australian bowlers need to find a way out to get a wicket. They need to break this partnership as early as they can.

My prediction was almost right with Aus taking a 358-259 lead while did not know WI wouldn't manage to make even 240. Both matches look one-sided where Aus and India will surely win while Eng are playing badly where both openers got out for the same score. If Aus manages 2 more wickets below 150, the game is lost. The game will get over by tomorrow afternoon.

Joe Root and Joe Denly building a very crucial partnership for England now. Nathan Lyon remains out of form and the Australian captain has brought in Marnus Labuschagne to try his off-break. It is going to be extremely fifficult for England to score another 260 plus runs that is needed for a win, but they need to bat sensibly now and try to survive against the two in from bowlers (Pat Cummins and Hazlewood).

India vs WI - WI are all out at 222 runs and with this India take a lead of 75 runs in the first innings. Ishant Sharma was the pick of the bowlers by picking 5 wicket for just 43 runs. India would need to make 300 approx in the second innings and asking them to bat in fourth innings and chasing some 375 runs will put them under pressure.

Seems difficult for England as they are still requiring 272 runs and 8 wickets in hand. And today is 3rd day so we have 2 full days left in the test match. If OZ win this test then tehy cannot lose the series from here as they will lead by 2-0 and only 2 more to go in this 5 match series.

The only approach that is going to be successful will be Root playing a captains innings and spending as much time in the crease and rotating the strike and scoring runs without taking any risk, that is easier said and done, Australia does have a good bowling line up and if England needs to win they must be able to extend the score above 250 without loosing much wickets and by that time if Stokes, Bairstow or Buttler are in the crease, it would be a dream scenario Cheesy
