After serving 16 years and have 107 test matches under his belt today we have another gentleman of cricket leave this game and now part of history as New Zealand won third test by huge margin against England at Hamilton and says goodbye to Tim Southee which was surely one of the best end of career to him.

But i want to thank my favorite player head for giving me such a match. I always admire head batting skills but today i really got his results once again.

It will be interesting especially when India are desperately trying to avoid the follow-on with one wicket after the other. 10&11 finally managed to avoid the follow-on.
Now it can certainly be said that this match has 90% chance of a draw especially if India could not avoid the follow on then maybe Australia would have bowled India out very quickly tomorrow in the second innings and they would have tried to win in T20 style batting. But that won't be possible because if Australia starts the second innings tomorrow and tries to give India a big run target then it might be necessary to play a session in which case India can definitely bat till 60 overs in two innings then there is no possibility of India getting all out i.e. The match will be a draw.

New Zealand won just one game, which is not enough, and in the last few months they were not performing well in the test matches. Yup, I agree that after taking all the England team wickets at 234 runs they also made a good game but they do not have consistency in the team and they need to focus on it.

However, they won the game against England by a big margin and completely dominated them. But now they should not be over-confident and I hope they will go with the same type of game for the next matches in any type of format. New Zealand won by more than 400 runs which is not even a small margin.

India scored only 252 runs for the loss of 9 wickets on the fourth day, the batting performance of the Indian team was not that good. Although the Australian team bowled well in this match, a few batsmen of the Indian team were able to bat patiently, otherwise they would have been all out long ago. Thanks to these two batsmen, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, the Indian team has been able to reach 252 runs so far, and all the other batsmen have not done well. It doesn't matter whether India loses this match or it ends in a draw. They needed a win to stay alive in ICC World Test Championship, and that is simply not going to happen. The rain might have saved them from another crushing defeat against the Australians. But what is the point if they can't qualify for the finals? BTW, Australia also need to do some introspection. They were unable to break the last wicket partnership despite trying really hard. Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah have so far added 39 runs.

However, he alone could not take the team out of trouble and he got no support from any other batsmen except Ravindra Jadeja.

No one saw that coming and that changed the entire picture. Surprises can happen even now, but I would say that at this point there is a 90% probability of a final between Australia and South Africa.

I won't mind if it plays its part in the remaining gameplay.

Australia should have its own 2018-19 Sydney experience from the other side of the aisle. Still, disappointed with the effort with the bat and I reckon, Rohit should find a tactical niggle in the next match and hopefully koach too lol

Virat made a hundred in Perth test and he only needs to stop chasing off-stump deliveries to throwing away his wicket, plus he's also a good fielder, so I think his spot is okay.
