If this goes on Bills alone will do >47. Patriots seem to have given up.

Yeah, no kidding.  I added the under (47.5) to my multi for the game, yes I put my money where my mouth is.  Another touch down and that's about all it can handle.

And the Refs just tried to give the Bill the ball at NE's 5 yard line.  Roll Eyes

ETA: 38-9  Shocked

Okay, now it's time to rotate Josh Allen and Stephon Diggs out.  My multi is on the line!

I'd give up too if I had to watch Cam miss all those easy 10 yard throws all day. Cheesy

Lol!  Looks like you don't have to anymore; Jason Stidham is in, Cam is out.

I can't help but feel a bit sorry for Cam.  He was such an arrogant pompous asshole for so many years, but at least he had some game to partially back up his inflated pride in himself.  Now he's just pathetic.

On paper both look like a good bet, but the last time these two teams met the Bills won 24 to 20.  Neither of those bets would have won, but I don't recall what the spread or the O/U projections were for that meeting.

So is Wentz going to be traded?
asking for a friend

Lol, tell your friend that would be the best thing that could happen to Wentz.  I think he's a good quarterback in a bad system.

I think the Bills could easily cover that -6.5 spread but i'm more confident on the over 47 after they put up nearly 50 against the Broncos. Their team total o27 looks tempting as well hopefully we'll see a lot of scoring from both sides.

Obviously the Patriots aren't the team they used to be, but never underestimate that damage a division rival can inflict.

(...) this dude is a first-round QB pick after all!

Your post inspired me to take a look at the QB's drafted in Top10 since 2010. Haskins was drafted at #15, so he wouldn't appear in this list, but you can see, that there are a lot of busts even in Top10. The Bradys, Rodgers', Wilsons, Brees' were all drafted later - only Rodgers in round 1 even - so it's not easy to find your franchise QB with a high pick. Especially not, when you are desperately looking for one^^ Most likely you will find someone who is doing ok for some seasons, but you will have to look for a replacement pretty soon.

I put the ones who I still think are worth a Top10 pick in green

2010:
#1 Sam Bradford (Rams), had a so and so career, is unofficially retired by now

2011:
#1 Cam Newton (Panthers), had a very good career and turned out to be a franchise QB in the end
#8 Jake Locker (Titans), don't remember him doing anything, retired after 3 years
#10 Blaine Gabbert (Jaguars), turned out to be just a journeyman

2012:
#1 Andrew Luck (Colts), had to retire a bit early due to injuries, but was a good QB
#2 Robert Griffin III (WFT), still remember his debut @Saints which was insane. Had a very good rookie season all in all, but Washington didn't take good care of him unfortunately. Backup QB nowadays.
#8 Ryan Tannehill (Dolphins), after years mediocrity, he finally found his groove and is a Top10 QB in the league now. Going to the Titans was a very good move for him. Without that.....

2013:
No QB drafted in Top10, the first was EJ Manuel at #16 by the Bills.

2014:
#3 Blake Bortles (Jaguars), did ok 2015-2017, backup at Broncos now

2015:
#1 Jameis Winston (Bucs), not what you expect from a #1, too erratic in the end, backup at Saints now
#2 Marcus Mariota (Titans), apart from the 2016 season a below average QB, backup at Raiders now

2016
#1 Jared Goff (Rams), still a good QB nowadays, lets see what we can say about his career in some years
#2 Carson Wentz (Eagles), if he goes to another team, he might revive his career, but he is probably done already

2017:
#2 Mitchell Trubisky (Bears), nothing special imo and is definitely no franchise QB
#10 Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs), if he stays healthy a future HOFer, good value at #10 Wink

2018:
#1 Baker Mayfield (Browns), he is getting better, but definitely no #1 pick from what we have seen so far
#3 Sam Darnold (Jets), I would think his career is already over by now, getting drafted by the Jets is just very meh
#7 Josh Allen (Bills), needed some time to get used to the NFL, but is a top QB today
#10 Josh Rosen (Cardinals), was very poor from the start and Cardinals picked Murray in the next draft, already giving up on him, backup at 49ers now

2019:
#1 Kyler Murray (Cardinals), he is doing ok, needs more development, but I don't see him being a Top10-ish QB
#6 Daniel Jones (Giants), will be out of the league soon, just too many weaknesses without improving them

In news that should surprise no one the Washington Football Team has released Haskins

Source: https://www.nfl.com/news/washington-football-team-releases-qb-dwayne-haskins

Pretty eventful week for the guy, first get into a birthday party with strippers violating NFL safety protocols after a loss, then get fined by the NFL and your own team (no longer team captain). Throw two interceptions and fumble the ball once in a must-win home game (sorta), get benched, and released the next day...i mean damn, this dude is a first-round QB pick after all! I know it's early and he is going to get another opportunity, but that's one way to fuck your football career.

Go Bills is all I can say for today. BTW even though I knew Cam sucks I didn't realize how much until I checked stats today: 5 TD 10 INT this season. So I hope he throws a lot today.

Could play spoiler, now that there is no chance they can get to the playoffs he will probally play like god. I think it might be a good bet to hit the over.

I know a lot of people his age who wouldn't hesitate to fuck things up for $10 million or whatever he was getting paid... even if that costs them $100m down the road. It happens all the time at 1/100 or even 1/1000 scale, in fact I could start a rant about the whole millennial generation right here but I won't Smiley

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
In news that should surprise no one the Washington Football Team has released Haskins, it seems their patience has finally run out and they have decided to let him go, it is such a shame because as I have said before the kid has talent, but unfortunately it seems he is not interested in working hard to make the most out of it and not matter how talented you are that attitude is never going to allow you to make it on the NFL.

So is Wentz going to be traded?
I am not an expert on the topics of the salary cap but the dead cap PHI will suffer by trading or cutting Wentz is simply prohibitive, they will have to dismantle the team and basically accept to tank in 2021 as their only option to rebuild the team, to give perspective to this NE has a dead cap this year of 29 millions, Wentz alone could cost them 59 millions, yep that is not a typo, obviously it is more complex than that but it should give you an idea of how prohibitive the move really is, however taking into account PHI seems like it is going to be in cap hell anyway they may as well just dismantle the team and begin all over again in 2022.

I won my Apex League so all the money I lost I just won back winning the league.
Yay me.  Cheesy

Congrats!

Interesting scenario in the NFC east now, where the Eagles can basically decide, which team they will send to the PO for this division. The winner from NYG-DAL game will win the NFC East, if Philly beats Washington. If they lose, Washington will win the division. Given the fact (or rather my opinion), that the Eagles hate the Giants/Cowboys more than Washington, this 2+ for WAS looks amazing.

Does any NFC East team have a franchise QB playing right now???

So is Wentz going to be traded?

I was only speculating for the Colts to have a better chance of winning vs. the Jaguars than the Titans possibility of winning against the Texans hehe.

I love watching the Packers play in the snow.  It seems to have little affect on them, while the other team is franticly trying to figure out how stay upright.

if they lose this game, they certainly lose the division. The Colts will be against the Jaguars (1-14) in their home stadium on week 17.

The Titans hold the tie-breaker over the Colts.  If the Titans lose tonight, they could still win the division by beating the Texans next week.

@suchmoon. Agreed hehe. The Titans' defense is very terrible. But they appear to be adjusting, however. The 2nd quarter was better for them.

In any case, if they lose this game, they certainly lose the division. The Colts will be against the Jaguars (1-14) in their home stadium on week 17.
