I'm still recovering from yesterday, not only because of the Jets win but i also lost both fantasy semi-finals i was in...and everything was looking so great after the Bills game, unbelievable.

Gregg Williams' 8-man 'hail mary' blitz was for nothing, dude got fired trying to protect the #1 pick, and Adam Gase gets to be a coach for 2 more weeks, life is not fair, at least Frank Gore won't finish 0-16 if he decided to retire after the season.  Cheesy

Bengals QBs tonight: Ryan Finley and Kevin Hogan, Bengals total points line is @12.5, hmm?!

Well it's been a brutal day for me in both of my fantasy football leagues ( wheelz1200 I don't want to hear a word about this from you lol ).  In the semi-finals and all my injuries/suspensions have caught up with me.  Currently just hate watching the Bears and hoping they lose.

I am not feeling great about the afternoon games but I do kinda like KC -3  vs the Saints.  I kinda figured Brees could be a bit rusty and they will be with out Thomas.  Any thoughts on this game?

Ouch sir, that was a brutally close game down to the last drive in the giants game.  Surprise colt didn't give up any turnovers or got sacked more.  Giants look as ugly as you could last.night

Considering betting on the Steelers vs Cincy but -14.5 is a lot of points. Curious what everyone else thinks of this one.
If you're going for the Steelers spread it might be better to take them at -13.5. I'm avoiding the spread on this match since it's too high and with two consecutive losses i'm still not confident on the Steelers holding a two possession lead but then again it's the Bengals maybe we'll see another stomp like what they did against the Jags.

My only bet for this game is 1st half Steelers team total o13.5 combined with Steelers match winner @1.8 I had to include something since the market is only available through bet builder.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
I was on the Jets Spread yesterday so I cant complain about the win but I wonder why they decided to show up for this game and win against the Rams?
Sacrificing their 1st Pick to just have a win on the board?

Anyone have an explanation, except for maybe Pride?
Assuming this is not the Jets just being the Jets, and I know that is a pretty big assumption, there is a possibility that maybe they like Justin Fields more than they like Trevor Lawrence, at this point in time it seems everyone is agreeing that Trevor Lawrence is the top pick on the next draft, however there are a few that argue that Justin Fields could be even better, so the Jets prefer to take some heat right now and get the second pick instead and choose Fields rather than to get the first pick and pick Fields from which they will most likely receive criticism for months if not years or even decades if the pick is wrong, looking at you Ken O'Brien of the 1983 NFL draft.

Another possibility is that they have talked with the agents of both Lawrence and Fields and Lawrence made it clear he will avoid them while Fields could be fine playing there as the market of NY could offer a lot of opportunities to make money off the field if he turns out to be a star.

I know neither explanation makes a lot of sense but it is what it is.

Congrats to Jets... not happy with a losing season they decided to lose the 1st pick LOL

LOL they are such morons.  I know it's not up to the players to tank, that's not what they do, but how could the coaches/management let them win vs the Rams who aren't a bad team what so ever.

I pushed on my Chiefs vs Saints bet at -3 and won my bet on the brows -4.5 vs the Giants. Considering betting on the Steelers vs Cincy but -14.5 is a lot of points. Curious what everyone else thinks of this one.

Trevor Lawrence's agent visited Jets locker room before the game with a suitcase full of cash.

What? You didn't say the explanation has to make sense. Nothing Jets do this season makes much sense.

That does make sense though!  Grin
If I was Trevor I wouldnt want to play for Adam "Im an idiot" Gase either...
He kills Teams and is a terrible coach, surprised that guy still has a job!

Boom, Tua does it again with 2 running TDs. That was a great game, also especially because I won. First time New England's been out of the playoffs for 20 years... pretty remarkable.
For anyone that has not been rooting for NE for long this was a day were they got to watch a lot of things for the first time.

First time with a 0.500 record or worse since 2000.
First time NE did not reach the playoffs since 2008.
First loss against a rookie QB since 2013.

Can't help but think Belichick is looking forward to a bit of off time during the holidays since its been a while.
I think it is the opposite, he is probably furious about not making it to the playoffs at all, and while I think Belichick the coach has been doing a good job even during this difficult season, Belichick the GM has failed during the last drafts when picking players for the offence, so I hope he uses his additional time wisely and brings fresh talent to the team especially at the QB position.

From the pile of very-unlikely-but-still-happenings: we've had 4 safeties today and the day is not over yet. That's gotta screw up someone's spread.

Sounds like Winston is out on the rona list and the Saints aren't planning on having Brees play the entire game, which definitely favors the Chiefs IMO. So I took Chiefs ML.

I have a similar 6 leg parlay but instead of the Dolphins and Rams I got the Vikings and Seahawks @5.25.

For my survivor picks I got the Titans and the Steelers was thinking of playing the Ravens this week but I had to look for alternatives since i'm running out of options for the final week.

I have Bucs, Ravens, Colts, Dolphins, Titans, and Rams to win @4.49

I opposed you on the Colts win, but just for value reasons, in the end Colts should win this Wink I just don't see these teams that far apart as the odds suggest, after the game I will probably have to eat my words^^ Also thought about betting on the Pats, but I think one can get 2.5+ for them inplay (as you will get 2.5+ for Dolphins inplay most likely).

Other than that I continued my dog day with Washington ML. If the Giants can beat Seattle on the road with McCoy, then WAS can beat them at home with Haskins as well. He just needs to take care of the football and their defense will do the rest.

Eagles I find a bit high as well. Lots of that is based on their good performance against the Saints last week, but maybe they can keep some momentum going into Phoenix and they still have some PO hopes Roll Eyes The ARZ defense concerns me a bit though. If they play like last week against the Giants, then goodbye Eagles Cheesy

Lets hope at least one dog bites.

Law abiding citizen here, going against teams that are out of playoff contention, or have very little chance of making it, like the Patriots.

I have Bucs, Ravens, Colts, Dolphins, Titans, and Rams to win @4.49

3.6% dude

It's almost like I'm the opposite of clairvoyant.  Next time I go on a rant about how this or that is so unlikely, please remind me of this episode, lol.  I might just have to gamble on being wrong, and all will be well with the world.

Granted the decision by Panthers to go for that last field goal was unusual. Most coaches would have gone for a touchdown in that situation, so it would have been 11 or 5 or 3 points at the end, all other things being equal.

Yeah, that decision by Matt Rhule surprised me.  You don't trust your offense can get you the 6, 7, or 8 points on that possession, so you'll force them to score 8 on the next?  Fucking brain dead.
