If the ticket wins, I'll regret not taking your advice.   Undecided
Exactly my point. "It's better to regret things you've done than ones you haven't"

I don't hate that advice, and I've been know to go "all-in" with two wheels under my frame.  But something about risking hard-earned money makes me timid as a church mouse.

Exactly my point. "It's better to regret things you've done than ones you haven't" (putting it in quotes because I've seen it attributed to some allegedly famous person or another and I don't want to get banned for plagiarism, but it's a fairly common saying where I'm from).

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Just a reminder, the College Football Semifinals are today, the first semifinal will be played by Notre Dame vs Alabama at 4PM ET and the second will be played by Ohio State vs Clemson at 8PM ET, the second game is without a doubt the one that is getting the most hype as this will be the second time Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields will face each other, the first time was also on the College Football Semifinals of last year in which Clemson beat Ohio State 29-23, so if for some reason you did not had the chance to see either of those two QBs this is probably the last chance we will have to see one of them before they become pros next year.

Here's my multi for the weekend:  Grin

Obviously just for fun, and because I earned a free bet for reaching sportsbet.io's Club House Silver Tear.

Anyway, it'll be fun to see how I do.

Matt Barkley asked the 49ers to pay him in bitcoin when he signed with them in 2017.  They declined his request, but he didn't last long with them anyway.  They cut him before the regular season started.

Congratulations to Okung, and kudos to the Carolina Panthers for actually making it happen.  That's awesome.

Yeah it is but I dont think the Ravens are going to come anywhere close to losing this game.  They are my darkhorse in the playoffs.  They are playing as good as any team is right now.  Ever since lamar came back from the covid time off he has been money.
I really hope he does well on the postseason, last year I was expecting Mahomes and Lamar to go at it in the AFC championship only for the Ravens to be completely dominated by the Titans on the divisional round.

Hey have you read this thread? The user jaysabi found the next news which is very interesting:

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2924583-russell-okung-to-be-1st-nfl-player-paid-in-bitcoin-65m-of-panthers-salary

This seems to be the first instance of a NFL player asking and actually being paid in bitcoin, it seems that slowly but surely we are making progress.

Yeah I have.  Okung has been a long time supporter of bitcoin and an advocate.  He has educated a bunch of professional players on bitcoin and have turned them onto it. Been a big fan of the guy ever since. Smiley

And yeah I think lamar went in a little too confident last year.  Another year under his belt, I think they will do well in the playoffs (until they meet the chiefs)

That's why odds are so one sided against the Browns and Steelers i'm tempted to include the moneyline odds in a parlay but it's probably best to skip them.

I think the Steelers are pretty much locked into the third seed unless the Bills lose to the Finns, but I think everyone sees that as unlikely.  If the Bills win, the Steelers have nothing to play for.
Another scenario would be the Ravens losing against the Bengals then the Browns will get the sixth seed since the Dolphins wins the tiebreaker.

Unless Bucs get to the Super Bowl, now that would probably light him on fire.

ROFLOL!  I didn't factor that in, good call.

Is this a Tom Brady inside joke or is there a possibility that Belichick will follow Brady to Tampa Bay?

I just read that Ben Roethlisberger is going to sit out Sunday's game, the Steelers are starting Mason Rudolph.  I don't know enough about Rudolph to know if that's a good or bad thing for the Steelers, but it's starting to look like the Browns will take the win on Sunday.

This is part 2! I hope it will be as action packed similar to their last game on the field together hehehe.

@Hueristic. Hehehe, you are also expecting an action packed game, yes?

They've already said Big Ben is going to sit, stay away from Browns/Steelers next week, will be a coin flip.

Word!

If Browns win, Steelers are likely play them again the following week in the wildcard game, which I think they prefer so this looks like a done deal.

While at least one team with 10+ wins will miss the playoffs. This whole "division winner gets to playoffs no matter how much they suck" thing is messed up.

It's essentially the "electoral college" of the NFL  Grin

...the Rams themselves basically don't have to care about W or L against the Cardinals regarding their PO spot, as long as GB beats CHI.

Jared Goff had to have surgery on his thumb, it was broken during the game against the Seahawks.  Looks like he'll be out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.  I doubt McVay is going to put his trust in another team to get him to the playoffs, so I suspect they'll be fighting hard nonetheless.  With the Bears playing lights-out the way they've been the last couple of weeks, I don't think he's that confident with a loss.  It's hard to see the Packers losing that game, but anything can happen.

So will be week 17 and with the Giants being 5-10 they have a real good shot at winning the division 😂.

With philly being out and the WFT might be going with Taylor Heinicke it might come down to the winner of the giants Dallas game.  SMH lol.

Happens with all sports this is just really bad.  No way they can absolve that without throwing out divisions.  Good thing that comes of it is a wild card team wins it all sometimes (last 2 giants superbowl wins they were wild card entrants with a sub par record.)

Tompa Bay likely to have the easiest matchup, @ NYG/DAL/ or WFT.
Talk about lucky, but I suppose Brady does not want to face the NYG on a playoff game ever again.

He seemed really pissed - more than usual - during the game about that failed challenge.

I don't see why he needs to aggravate himself for the next 3-4 years until Patriots are a decent team again, and that's assuming they won't make any more hire/trade/draft blunders. He probably made some decent money during the golden years, could just go out on top. Unless Bucs get to the Super Bowl, now that would probably light him on fire.
In my opinion this is key, this is for the most part an ego thing, for years casual fans have wondered who was the biggest factor on the NE dynasty, was it Brady? Was it Belichick? Obviously common sense says it was both but casual fans are not happy with that, they want to know the answer to that question, and if Belichick were to retire now we will remember his last season without Brady being a completely disaster on the offensive side of the ball while Brady is doing well at TB, he is not elite but I will put him in the Top 10 QBs on the NFL and most likely he will win a playoff game when facing whoever wins the NFC East, which will switch public opinion on his favour and Belichick does not want that.
