I would enjoy watching the best college team play the worst nfl team as an exhibition game.

That would be a HUGE success.

That would actually be an epic failure.  LSU against the Bengals would probably have the bengals favored by 40+ points.  Joe burrow would be sacked on every pass play and on offense they would bury LSU and the teenagers that are playing.  And those kids on LSU would get injured real quick, boys versus men in football doesnt work

I didn't say the college team would have a chance it would be a marketing bonanza. Personally I think all college aesthetes should be payed, right now they are indentured servants.

College players are not teenagers, they are adults, at that age I was a Marine.

I always thought the NFL should have a "minor league" of sorts, and they could have the championship for that league during the bye week between the Conference Championship and the Super Bowl.  Another thought would be to coordinate with the Canadian Football League and have their championship during that bye weekend.

A minor league is what is needed, college football needs to die, no-one but the institutions profit from it and those institutions that excel at that don't excel at properly educating those that don't make it into the pros.

I was watching Pro Football Talk the other day, and Dan Katz suggested that two teams be made up by selecting all the top draft prospects from college teams, and let them hash it out.  That actually sounds like it would make for a fun game to watch.  Of course it would be all about each player trying to showcase his skills, and wouldn't be much of a "team" event.

This would definitely be a better Idea than continuing the failure the pro bowl is.

Well I guess just about anything would be even a fucking parade with lots of cheerleaders.

I do appreciate your service but if you are saying a college player and nfl player has the same physical prowess you are mistaken, that is one of the sole reasons they dont let kids get drafted as a freshman because of the physicality difference and the need to beef up before you take hits from an nfl player, they are worlds apart (generally speaking).

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
The new simulation of the Montana Bowl has been released on Tecmo Super Bowl, this is the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leYpg_cmJd0

I do not want to spoil anyone for those that may be interested in watching the simulation but it is going to be interesting how this prediction compares against our own, I have also been looking for the Madden 20 prediction for SB 54 but while there are some in youtube the official one has not been released yet.

As for my prediction I believe SF is going to win 34-27, to me this is simply about SF being the most complete team, KC has the most dangerous unit with Mahomes and those receivers but I do not see any weakness on SF and that should be enough to pull off the win.

This is for anyone here that likes the Chiefs to win the SB as I have found some value on the FreeBitcoin faucet site which they also have betting on the SB. Right now the favourites are the 49ers at around $1.53 and Chiefs $2.17 which is crazy as we know the Chiefs are the favourites with all the sportsbooks. So there is some btc to be made if you like the Chiefs like I do.

How trustworthy is this site.  I probably wouldn't recommend using a faucet site to bet money with.  For me too sketchy to hand money over too and I would recommend the same for anyone else.  Going to a reputable site and get a little lower odds, it's worth the bits.

FreeBitco.in has been around for quite a while and has a long-standing presence on the forum, but since I've never actually made a deposit or withdrawal from there I won't vouch for their abilities. If you are up for some risk, there certainly lies some decent arbitrage opportunities therein. You could stand to profit from either outcome by placing a bet on the Chiefs there and on the 9ers anywhere else.

Its not like freebitco.in knows something about the Super Bowl that we don't -- their bettors are probably just biased and oblivious to what's going on in the sportsbooks.

I was just thinking the same thing. The Pro Bowl just doesn't seem like real football because the stakes are so low. As crazy as it sounds, maybe they should have the 2 teams play a game of basketball or softball.

The probowl is a joke, but yeah, a college team against an NFL team would be a bigger joke.

The probowl is just an excuse to give the best players of the league an extra game to play, and the bonus pay that comes along with it.  I can understand that from the perspective of wanting to give those guys a perk, but it doesn't make for good football.  They don't tackle, the plays are whistled dead as soon as a defender has two hands on the ball carrier, there's really no team loyalty to get the fans excited.  Obviously nobody wants to put the players in position where they may get hurt in a meaningless game, so it's doomed from the get go.  It seems like they should just pay the players the bonus and do something else for the fans.

I always thought the NFL should have a "minor league" of sorts, and they could have the championship for that league during the bye week between the Conference Championship and the Super Bowl.  Another thought would be to coordinate with the Canadian Football League and have their championship during that bye weekend.

As of now, with a week to go, the 49ers have 5 votes and the Chiefs have 2 votes. Looking back at their odds of winning the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season:

If the Niners win, that would be a 33.5x payout had you bet on them at the beginning of the year -- not bad! Chiefs are far less exciting at 8.3x.

The pro bowl should go away and maybe have a skills competion of something because the pro bowl has been boring for years.

RIP Kobe. What a random story.

How was the Pro Bowl today? I couldn't watch anything after the news about Kobe broke out. So sad...

I actually planned to go all-in on the OVER in this game as the line seemed so low @52.5

This was one of those opportunities you don't want to miss, and i did as my stake was relatively small.

It was boring like all of them are.  Yeah the over was the play here today of course easy money on a line like that and no one playing defense.  The pro bowl should go away and maybe have a skills competion of something because the pro bowl has been boring for years.

I have voted for the Chiefs as I'm sticking with my futures bet which I have on them to win. I am looking to place some prop bets on the game as it makes the game more interesting instead of just rooting for the one team to win. I'm thinking about taking a bet for the game to go into OT as I think it will be a close game. What do you guys think?

I can definitely see that as the refs seem to have no qualms this year of making up calls to give huge chunk plays to keep games close.

I agree mate, we have seen it all season with the refs making up calls and throwing flags for BS calls so it wouldn't surprise me that the game will be a close one. It could also come down to a field goal to win the game so I'm undecided right now but I do like the OT prop bet so I might go with that.

I couldn't believe the odds were 50/50 for this one, (...)

I can't believe the odds in this one:

Really small odds, but I still see very good value here. Barcelona is playing Levante next Sunday evening and the game will finish just 1.5h before Superbowl-Kickoff. So there is no way in the world, that Pique will be at the stadium. Pique got a yellow card in yesterdays loss to Valencia, but it was only his fourth. He probably tried to get his second yellow card in that game, to be suspended for next week, but he didn't succeed. If he is not in the stadium, he can't be shown. Even if this bet includes some image of his shown at the video screens, I think this bet has value, because the Superbowl and the happenings during halftime is way bigger than Pique - him being the partner of Shakira or not.

I won't bet on it, but will definitely monitor Cheesy

ROFLMAO!  This almost makes me want to start gambling.  Almost.  But I don't know how I would choose.  I know I want the 49ers' score to be higher than POTUS's tweet count, but hell, that's the case on Any Given Sunday, and the other 6 days too.  Undecided

I couldn't believe the odds were 50/50 for this one, so I delved into Trump's Twitter, and sure enough, he tweets (and re-tweets) like he's on crack or something. I added them up and he has 18 tweets in the last 24 hours. Not sure what his average is, but I'm not certain I'd want to take the 49ers in this particular bet.

Actually I just refreshed Trump's feed and now I'm certain I wouldn't! Looks like he's trying to pass us a special message:

I like the 49ers in this one, they have a more solid and consistent defense than anyone else the Chiefs have faced in the post season.  I'll take a stab at a score prediction; SF 34, KC 28.

It's going to be a fun game anyway.  I would have liked to see Green Bay and Kansas City duke it out.  A replay of of the first super bowl would have been a fitting end to the NFL's 100th season.

It would have made for a great story but game wise kansas city would have blown them out and I think would have been boring.  This will be a way better game than if green bay was in.  I think san fransisco and kansas city have been the top 2 teams in all the nfl (except for baltimore) so I think the right teams are in.
