^  Vicente Luque vs Nick Diaz was cancelled.  And we should give a sigh of relief.  We don't wanna see Nick Diaz get beaten up again.  Lol.  He's like less than half of the fighter he was 15 years ago.  Speed is gone, power is gone and the grit is gone.  He's just too old now.

But yeah, the main event here will totally be waaay better than the main event at 304.

Anyway, here are the results.

Belal Muhammad def Leon Edwards  UD
Tom Aspinall def Curtis Blaydes  KO R1
Paddy Pimblett def King Green  SUB R1
Gregory Rodrigues def Christian Leroy Duncan  UD
Arnold Allen def Giga Chikadze  UD
Nathaniel Wood def Daniel Pineda  UD
Bruna Brasil def Molly McCann  UD
Jake Hadley def Caolan Loughran  UD
Muhammad Mokaev def Manel Kape  UD
Oban Elliott def Preston Parsons  UD
Modestas Bukauskas def Marcin Prachnio  SUB R3
Sam Patterson def Kiefer Crosbie  SUB R1
Mick Parkin def Łukasz Brzeski  KO R1
Shauna Bannon def Alice Ardelean  SD

Mokaev vs Kape...  What a total disappointment.  Lmao.

Here is my reaction on the main event. It was a totally regular Belals fight. Kinds a fight few will watch to rewatch. I am totally disappointed with my favourites. Mokaev won, but got released from UFC. Pimblett choked (again) his opponent. Even Aspinall disappointed me. Even though he won, Blaydes also connected some punches. Not acceptable for heavyweight division and you want to become a champ.

It felt like Leon didn't do his best because it was only in the last minute of the fight that he threw those big elbows that cut Belal. Had he done it in the first rounds, it could have changed the outcome. Belal did his best yet still a decision.  Grin

Mokaev is nowhere else to go. PFL has no FW. He could encounter DJ if he goes to One Champ.
Congrats to Paddy, very surprising of him.

Was it because Tommy calls out Stipe instead of Jones that's why you got disappointed. He didn't get Jones since last year, it wouldn't be different today. Calling out who Jones wants to fight is a fair thing to do.

Bobby Green x1.86 vs. Paddy Pimblett x1.94

My prediction for Paddy the baddy vs. the King Green is this will end in a split decision and the judges will give the victory to Paddy because where is this fight? It is in the United Kingdom hehehe. Similar to Jared Gordon vs. Paddy the baddy, this should be a victory for King Green, however, the judges will disagree hehehee. Uncle Dana will also be very thankful because he can continue the hype on his pet.

Interested to see my fellow Liverpool fan, Paddy The Baddy tonight. I walked past him once at Anfield, other people were asking him for photos but I didn’t want to piss him off so I didn’t. Wish I would have now.

Any way, this is the biggest test of his career, I just hope he can get through it.

It appears Paddy The Baddy, your fellow Liverpool fan has won the fight very convincingly hehehe. If you seem him somewhere again, I am very much certain will never be angry with his fans and a fellow fan of Liverpool.

On the biggest fight of his career, it was only 1 round and it was not challenging. King Bobby Green was sleeping before he can tap. I am very much impressed, however, he will be more hated because of this heheh. There many fans who want to see him lose.

50-50 chance for Mokaev right?  The fight could end with just one hit from Kape.

^  Yeah it looks like Edwards had the upper hand on that exchange.  But if you're betting on the main event it's prolly better not to read into these things too deeply.  Aspinall being there and saying how it was all drama was funny tho.  Cheesy

Here's the pre fight conference.  It was kinda boring tbh...  Even with Edwards and Muhammad's animosity towards each other.

Can't just expect something remarkable to happen when two boring fighters who won most of their fights by decision are in the cage, they did promise their audience to KO each other though. But it's the low-expectation fights that can make surprises we never knew Leon could once again make that head kick that KO Usman. Or it could be an eye poke again and we'll see Belal crying over it.

I love how tokeweed likes to post pre and post fight conferences, face-off and weigh-ins, so here is a vid before face-off https://www.instagram.com/reel/C90S6grS00Y/?igsh=ZGNiNnRuZzZxZ3M2 Cheesy

Belal and Edwards met in elevator. For me it looks like Belal is nervous (also that chewing gum was annoying Cheesy). He was the first to start insulting, instead of being calm. The way he tries to humiliate Edwards, does not look like a solid trashtalk and a try to get into head Cheesy And the end of the win is hilarious. A man who is super calm and can beat Edwads and Belal easily Cheesy

Wow...  The winner of Mokaev vs Kape could fight for the title next and they schedule the match at the prelims..?  That's fcked up.  Lol.  Not to mention the disrespect.  But yeah, it is what it is.  Still glad we'll be seeing Mokaev finally tested by one of the better fighters in 125.  But the weigh cut...  Let's hope it's not going to be too bad for Kape.  He's always had this problem in the past.

Mokaev Vs Kape is not even at prelims, it's now at early prelims. This is extra weird considering Mokaev is fighting in his own town, so you'd expect it to be treated with more prominance.
I suspect it could have something to do with the odd time of the event. The main events will take place around 3-4am, so maybe they just wanted to put some exciting fight earlier on, so people would show up early and stay for the whole thing. Just my theory.
Or maybe it's just Dana not taking the Flyweight too seriously?

Do you think we would see a new champion this weekend? Frankly, both, Belal and Edwards are not best options for being champions Cheesy One is boring, other needs to be cheered during rounds as he does not believe in himself Cheesy
-snip-
I think I agree with what you said. Leon is a boring fighter because he is not explosive and tends to play it safe. But that seemed to be Leon's fighting style. What makes him great is that he mastered basic skills to the highest level. That's what made him the first fighter to successfully take down Kamaru Usman and lose his 100% takedown defense record. I think Leon is also the type of fighter who really carries out his team's game plan. It makes the fight "seem" boring but a win is still a win. Grin
To be honest, I don't know much about Belal. He is one of the top 10 at welterweight. I just knew Belal was the type of fighter who needed to be encouraged.  Shocked. CMIIW

I am not surprised Cheesy As Belal is really a boring fighter. Check out his record. I think I had more finishes in my school backyard fighting career than Belal in his professional fighting career Cheesy And I cant explain what is wrong with him. He trains with the best, always talk about finishing his opponent. But during fight he is to much cautious, fights from defence, prefers control over risk, have pillow fists.

^  I think Edwards gained a lot of confidence after his rematch vs Usman.  The match vs Covington sucked tho as it looks like Covington wasn't 100% when he took the fight.

Here are the odds for all of the main card fights:

Leon Edwards x1.44 vs. Belal Muhammad x2.80
Tom Aspinall x1.27 vs. Curtis Blaydes x3.80
Bobby Green x1.86 vs. Paddy Pimblett x1.94
Christian Leroy Duncan x1.70 vs. Gregory Rodrigues x2.15
Arnold Allen x1.38 vs. Giga Chikadze x3.05

Not the main card, but Mokaev has decent odds at 1.68 against Kape (x2.18).

I feel sure that Aspinall is going to finish Blaydes. Tom is simply way better than Blaydes. Blaydes, I dont know, that guy seems to be always near becoming a champ, but always looses his chance.

And God how I want Green to whoop Pimblett ass. Pimblett is way to much arrogant. A short film how Pimblett destroyed his reputation in 31 sec

Stacked card...  The main and the co main are just ok but the rest of the match ups in main card are really good imho.  I kinda like Manel Kape in this spot if he gets a good weight cut tbh.  And as the slight underdog.  Wink  But yeah...  All good match ups for the whole event except a couple ones with guys I do not know.  :-/

34 years for a heavyweight isnt much. Many heavyweight fighters in roster are 40+, some managed to become champions at 40+.

Since we all love McGregor so much, I think we have missed the news when he has bought bare knuckle fighting championship promotion (at least I dont remember discussing it here). And he has already managed to fire Mike Perry (former UFC fighter, former king of violence champ (analogue of BMF probably lol Cheesy )) for fighting against Jake Paul Cheesy
