There still many people wants to see him fight in the Octagon or wants to see him lost inside the Octagon, for doing such things outside the Octagon, I truly admit I really don't like him at all, there are no excitement for me when Jon Jones, Jorge Masvidal, or Colby Covington is fighting I really don't know why but that is what I am feeling but with the upcoming Colby Covington VS Khamzat Chimaev I am surely going to be excited with that fight not because of Covington but with your know who,

I think people just want to see Jones for the last time, before he goes completely crazy. If he wins, he will claim himself to be new rising king and go breaking bad. If he looses, his mental instability will force him to go breaking bad also. I just dont believe he could return normally. I think this guys has wasted his talent already. I believe in that a fighter can be in his top shape only once. Jones times is gone. He can get back, get some beating and be released. Maybe he will manage to sell lots of PPV first time, but after he will never be a huge PPV seller anymore.

Do you know that Makhachev will be a replacement in a fight Oliveira vs Gaethje on UFC 274, if any fighter gets injured? Smiley There is a small chance to get another champ from Dagestan Cheesy

There is lot of talking that Jon Jones is finally coming back to fighting in octagon with man, not fighting girls and woman in his personal life anymore.
His opponent should be Stipe Miocic if everything goes well, and I am excited to see if he can really compete in heavyweight division.
I am not sure in what shape Miocic is now and he needs to step up if he wants to come back after that nasty defeat from N'Gannou.

He should go up against Juliana Peña, Amanda Nunes, or Holly Holm, and be the Women's Bantamweight Champion, No pun intended but yeah I really don't like Jon Jones, but If he's going to the Heavyweight Division I want him to face Ciryl Gane and not Stipe Miocic, but that is what the UFC wants, and they already set up the fight the only thing that needed was the confirmation between the two fighters,

-snip-

I have a feeling that any hype that was produced when JBJ first said he would be fighting at HW is long gone by now. Stipe is not the champ anymore, and Jones fights so sporadically that people have moved on, especially regarding his out of the octagon behavior. I myself was excited about something like that when it first was talked about, but now, there is so much going on in the other divisions that this seems fairly bland. Maybe I change my tune if it really gets set up, but until then...

Thinking of just putting out some predictions, however I probably won't be betting on anything this weekend. Not liking the look of the card, and I'm not too familiar with a lot of the fighters. Thinking of saving my money for the coming weeks.

I agree I think I will not make any bet at all but I will still make my picks regarding the Main and Co-main fight, and will be giving my full picks on the jeremypwr UFC Fight Night 205 Multi Master Challenge, this upcoming weekend, wish I am not busy on something, but regarding this event the next event seems juicy in my opinion, the UFC Fight Night: Font vs Vera, but still I think I like Marlon Vera and because stake is sponsoring Vera along Alexa Grasso and they are Stake's brand ambassadors I smell big money regarding their bet.

Feels the same too. The fights are not very intesting when the fighters are not very known. The ones that is exciting is the Olivera card. I'm reserving my BTC to that event.

Tyson, Ngannou, and well pretty much every Heavyweight in the UFC you definitely don't want to be pissing off. Braver than me if you choose to do so.
This guy was doing this on purpose and he wanted to get a punch from Tyson so he could late release some stupid video like this.
I think I will watch some heavyweight boxing this weekend with Tyson Fury fighting against Dillian Whyte, but I am not sure exact timing when both events are starting, so maybe I can watch both of them.
For anyone who likes free bets Sportsbet and jeremypwr have nice boxing competition with free bet rewards, and check out my Championship competition:

Lucky him there is a barrier between them, his face would worse. Myke doesn't care what people says about him, he's done with it back in his dark years. Nothing destroys him anymore so even if he does something negative in front of a camera, its nothing to him.

I do believe it's being hosted in England, so the event will be early. So, even if the UFC is on earlier this week (I haven't checked) you should still be able to catch the majority of it hopefully. The boxing should be on around 10-11pm UK time I believe. So, UFC events even when they start early the main card goes into the early hours in the UK. So, the main event should be safe. I usually like to split screen them when possible, as quite a few big events have clashed.

I'll probably watch the event, as it probably will be a competitive night, I just won't be betting on it. Too many variables, and I don't have enough information other than old tapes, and some of the fighters don't really have a lot of tape to watch either.

I always forget to chuck my predictions in the games, and rounds thread. Hopefully I remember by the end of the week, since I've learned my lessons about predicting to early with all the drops outs, and step ins.

Now, I know this is not directly related with UFC, but this is what happens when you are trying to piss of Mike Tyson in plane Smiley

I have the same feeling like you, and I will maybe watch main event Jessica Andrade against Amanda Lemos in all Brazillian fight.
There are no other fights that are interesting to me this time but I did place my prediction picks in Games and rounds, there is always a chance of winning free bets from Sportsbet Wink

^  Yup same..  And I think the UFC would make a match for the winner as interim champion since Ngannou is still recovering from his knee surgery.  Dana White is trying to leverage that interim belt to make sure Ngannou stays in line and fights or he'll be stripped off his title.  Ngannou is undergoing a contract dispute with the UFC.
I think the UFC will be the ones to cave, since I believe they need him more than he might need them. Ngannou definitely has some leverage going into boxing, and while he might not make it anywhere big, he would probably make a lot more money. So, I guess it depends on his goals. Whether he wants to carve out a legacy or bring in as much money as possible for his family.

Here's jeremypwr's multi master in case some of you guys haven't made your picks yet.

UFC Fight Night 205 Multi Master Challenge

Here's my event's lottery tickets.  Lol.

Andrade - Romanov - Dean at 1.71
Add:  Kape - Aori at 3.55
Add:  Guida - Vannata - Barriault at 19.43
Add:  Dela Rosa - Grant - Prachniao at 177.49
Add:  Villianueva at 887.43

Take note that my picks for the multi master and my full card parlay have two picks that are different.  I think Barber and Pedro will be the pie shitters of the week.

I dont believe Jon Jones would ever come back to UFC or continue his MMA career. Fans still want to see him, UFC want to make their last money on that milking cow. But nobody knows what Jon Jones really want. He talks a lot, but he really wanted to return, he would have done it long time ago. Two years have passed since his last fight. He has been mixing his training with alcohol and breaking law. UFC rooster has changed greatly since his last fight. He can return to UFC to make his last fight only.

Jon Jones want to be a heavyweight. Ok, as a former lightheavy champ, he should not get a fighter from bottom of the top. Heavyweights top5 will smash him easily. Jones wants to fight Miocic? I think it will be easy money if you bet on Stepe.

Many people underestimated Belal Muhammad in main event against Vicente Luque, but I think he proved that he is a very good fighter.
I checked rankings on UFC website now and Belal Muhammad is on 6th position in welterweight division dropped one position, so I am not sure if it was updated or not.
Fantastic jump for Khamzat Chimaev who is now third place in same division, and I think one of this guys will challenge champion Kamaru Usman next.

Well, count me as one of the person who underestimated Muhammad, but I think he is not ready to face the rank 4 fighters in the Welterweight division I really think a rematch with Stephen Thompson could be a proper way for him if he didn't struggle with Thompson or if he can show us that he has a new move that is hiding up his sleeves then I think he could try the upper fighters on the division.

-snip-

I think Dana White already made a promise to Leon Edwards, giving him a shot at Kamaru's belt. UFC can make Covington vs Chimaev. Chimaev is already trolling Colby in his posts. Very intriguing fight. Khamzat is very strong but I don't think he is better than Colby in the grounds. Belal is not that far from a championship fight. Maybe 2 to 3 straight wins and he will have it. Not that easy though.

I really think that Leon Edwards will surely get that fight but I don't think his prepare for Usman, but I'd like to see that fight and with the Khamzat Chimaev VS Colby Covington, I don't want to sound bias for Chimaev but I really think Covington will not stand a chance against Chimaev especially in the ground, Khamzat Chimaev is pretty much stronger on ground fights and Colby Covington might end up like Jing Liang when Chimaev totally pulverize Jing Liang with his power, that is why he withstands a brawl with Gilbert Burns,

Belal Muhammad wants a title shot one day.  So he would only take on opponents who would take him a step nearer to that goal if he gets the W.  Luque was one of those fighters.  I think he'll be given one more match up vs a top 5 guy then a title shot if he wins...  Leon Edwards is scheduled to fight Usman, Covington is up in the air as he won vs Masvidal but also lost  to Usman twice, so maybe Covington?  Then again Chimaev is also in the mix so it's prolly him too.

Anyway, who you guys got at first glance on the next event's roster?

I really don't know about Muhammad but I guess he's going to surely take up 1 of the top 5 in the Welterweight division, and I really think Colby Covington is the one I really like him to face because I really believe that Belal Muhammad isn't fit to face the strength of Burns or Chimaev, and likely the style of Usman, the 1 I could think of that's fits the bill for Muhammad can be Covington only, of course, after the Covington VS Chimaev fight, that is,

I wonder why the UFC even has a matchmaking division in their company, and why they pay them. Fire them all and let Dana just move the chess pieces around however he wants XD His comments just kill me and all of the anticipations that comes from trying to figure out who could it be... But I am generally fed up with Dana's comments and his personality so maybe that just rubbed me the wrong way more than it should. As for Belals title shots, maybe 3 fights to the title fight would be too much, but it really depends who Usman fights next.

This was a long-winded one. A ton of decisions. Well, I'd say Muhamad was not impressed by Luqes BJJ accolades as there were takedowns A plenty. So Belal is now in an interesting situation. However, I would like to see a rematch with Edwards before the Colby callout materializes. I am not sure if back-to-back rematches are good for his career though. I mean, this division is a nightmare for matchmaking, but no sleeping on Muhamad.
It is funny how he was at the UFC desk just a month ago giving advice on how the matches were going for these UFC bouts.
I've seen him fight before but it seemed he was not wanting to fight up until this match with Luque came along.
He looked to be quite comfortable just giving his technical analyst of the fights and not actually doing the fighting.
But glad he won as I had him on most if not all of my bets for the UFC this past weekend.

I have also heard that Edwards will meet Kamaru next. Or Edwards set conditions, that he will only fight Usman next. They have already met in 2015, Edwards is on a good winning streak, giving him Usman next would be fair.

I think Chimaev should fight (smesh!) someone else before having a title fight. Lets not forget that he was on top11 recently, took a good beating from Burns but one via decision. This was first serious test of Chimaev skills. Giving him champion next looks way to quick to me.

I can't figure out if Luque has bad TD defense or if Muhammad has excellent timing on his TD's...  I think it's more like the former imho and it cost him...  A lot.  It sucks cos I placed him up at the second tier of my lottery ticket.
Terrible take down defense paired with a decent ability to take down by Belal. I can't say I'm overly surprised, but I'm not convinced that Belal will challenge for anything meaningful. I find him quite one dimensional, and think he gets taken out by the big boys. I haven't got anything against him he just doesn't come across as a personality, and his fighting doesn't do enough to make me a fan of him.

Maybe, Luque just had a off day, but he made quite a few mistakes leading to the take downs which were easily avoided. I do think this was a prime example of being cautious of the take down, therefore not letting his hands go, and in evidently being taken down, and grind out to a decision loss.

Well, I don't really think Belal Muhammad could go even further, than Vicente Luque, but I had to admit, Vicente Luque is not himself that day, his take down defense is off, and I don't really think much of Muhammad could go even further that time, I could see him as an average fighter, but  we can not underestimate that average fighter he could surely done something if he tries, but further on the top 4 on the Welterweight Division he can not pass from that point,

And just in, Dana White just announce a big fight this summer on the Heavyweight division, and this is between Stipe Miocic VS Jon Jones, This is quite a move for the UFC because right now Francis Ngannou has a problem with the Contract and could leave the title, or this is to pressure Ngannou about his contract, but in my opinion, I don't like how Jon Jones could anytime can get the Heavyweight champion without making it up the ladder, I want a Cyril Gane VS Stipe Miocic fight then with the Jon Jones fight, but that is how the UFC wants to be and I think a lot of fans want a fight between this two the only problem is Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic confirmation about this.
