To make a pick at this point doesn't make too much sense to me. We are now going to have a Champions League break of three full months with a World Cup in between. It is just not reasonable to look at the last five games they now played and make a prediction for what's to come in February. There can be all kinds of events including injuries and whatever else. Chelsea might have a great start into the next part of the season in the EPL and Dortmund might have a rough start because they start much later and have less time to get back to full practice. Given what these teams have to offer generally, I would guess that it is rather a 50/50 game.

One thing is sure and that is this is like a pre time final,if these two teams were in the final I think we would all enjoy this game because of the great players each team has.However I think that Bayern is slightly favored as I saw a couple of games of PSG and especially against Benfica in Benfica home they struggled a lot and barely managed to get a draw there.I am sure if Bayern was there they would have won against Benfica even in Benfica home and this for me is a good although not a 100% indicator that Bayern form is better than that of PSG right now.

Before the closure of games just to kick off for the world cup games starting in Sunday morning German side Borrussia Dortmund has lost twice which saw them puting that form in a absurded position also missing out on Reus again one if Dortmund most important and loyalist to injury missing a big international chance for the fourth time. I don't think so. Look at the how worst the match history from chelsea compared with dortmund. 5 games 2 draws and 3 loses. That proves if chelsea was in the worst form right now. Dortmund has a better match history compared with chelsea. I think that when you consider the performance from player in the world cup still not comparable with once they played for their team. dortmund and chelsea have almost the same matches history. A bit difficult to predict which one from both that will be winning.
I think that the most difficult match is to predicting the match like this rather than a big club that against a club that has bad performance compared with it but the history proves chelsea has a strong mentalism over dortmund.
It can be seen from how chelsea was always passing last 16 easily without any doubt. Im taking chelsea for now.

I think, Chelsea will defeat Borussia Dortmund 1-2 for the favour of Chelsea because Chelsea performance in their last matches, showed that they have more potential players that will make the victory happen. The two teams has experienced some challenges in their past matches, which their coach are still struggling to make sure they get it right before the end of the holiday so that they will be able to recover from their losses. If Chelsea coach can work on their midfield and defense before the match,I think Chelsea will definitely embrace victory from Borussia Dortmund that will make their points to increase higher.

Don't get biased by Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, a complete football players is 11 players, not only 3 players. No matter how good they're, 3 players still can't carrying the club against a well rounded club. Bayern Munich has a good player from the goal keeper, defenders, midfielders and strikers. And the team that plays well will win. So they have to play with a cool head in the whole game. If they are tense, the whole match will be ruined.

Panic is PSG only weakness when dealing with big teams in the Champions League, failure in the previous season PSG is very easy to panic when they are under pressure. I'm just curious how Napoli will come out of the winter break, the wintersto comes early and very disadvantageous too.

Players that are not featuring in the World Cup should engage in personal training if they want to be fit after the world cup break. I am sure most clubs have training programs for players that are absent from the world cup. The major challenge most club have now are injuries during the world cup. The world cup is sometimes a very physical and ruthless competition that leaves so many key players injured.

Players are given time to rest after the world cup before club competition would commence, therefore they would always overcome fatigue and be fit for club competitions.

I wouldn't say Bayern Munich's performance was bad last season. He played well enough and won the title easily. They were 8 points ahead of second-placed Dortmund. And Bayern Munich's performances at the start of this season have been very poor and erratic. But now they are back on the truck and have continued to perform consistently well. Bayern Munich will easily win the Bundesliga title. But I am not sure if they can do well in the Champions League. Because Bayern Munich will face PSG in the knockout round. If Bayern Munich can win against PSG then I think they can go to the final.

Their mission in the champions league will be very hard of course because of the next opponent Paris saint Germain, this club have a very good attack with messi Neymar and mbape and im pretty sure they will be able to score in both matches, if they can beat Paris i think they will go far on this competition
