The competition in Group D is still very tight, Tottenham, Sporting, Frankfurt and Marseille still have a chance to qualify for the knockout phase because their points are still very changeable in their last match. Tottenham lead with 8 points, followed by Sproting in 2nd place with 7 points, in 3rd place is occupied by Frankfurt with the same points, and Marseille is last ranked with a difference of 2 points from the leader of the standings. The last match between Sporting vs Frankfurt and Marseille vs Tottenham will determine their position. The winning club will be in first and second position in the standings. It's very interesting to see the competition in this group.
It seems like that the only group D who has not yet been determining the two clubs who will able to pass to the next round. It seems like that totenham was feeling so difficult facing those clubs. It can be seen from how bad the performance from totenham in champion league.
That is also giving a huge impact to the overall performance by totenham in EPL as well. Totenham must winning the last game or it might be doing down at the second place. If totenham lose and this has no chance to go to the last 16.
Totenham must win or it will be going to be the same as la liga club like barcelona. No choice for totenham

The last match will be decisive in this case because indeed everyone still has a chance even though they have to work hard in the last match later.
But my prediction won't change because I still feel that Tottenham and Sporting deserve 1 and 2 places but for third place of course I expect Frankfurt to come back because they won the Europa League last season and they have to go back there.

I think it will also be quite difficult for Barcelona to qualify. I don't know exactly what the criteria are, do they look at goal difference or mutual results? Mutual result is a lost cause anyway. Barcelona could certainly beat Bayern Munich at home, but Inter Milan will play the next round at home against Viktoria Pilzen, who have lost everything so far. Then Inter Milan should not win, and Barcelona should win at home against Bayern Munich. But let's be realistic, what are the chances that Inter Milan won't beat Pilzen at home? I think 5%

Barcelona will not experience any draw match or loss in their remaining matches, because their coach has brought in new strategies that will help them to achieve victory from Bayern Munich. I think, Barcelona will use home advantage to play Bayern Munich to ensure they achieve many goals that will increase their points for other teams to know that they are in good position to keep the winning going until they win the title. If Inter Milan coach can make some changes in their line up they used to played last match, Inter will defeat Pilzen 2-0.
Well, one thing must be taken into account, Barcelona is a very complete team, however Xabvi is still not completely satisfied, it is well known that they do not do tiki taka well, because the master of it is Pep Guardiola, Also, as I said before, you need to have a dinho, Messi and an Iniesta, maybe a Xavi who helps to give assists, it's the only way I can see a complete Barcelona, for now Xavi doesn't have any other place than appeal to what he knows and his little experience, I don't know how Barcelona will continue to act from now on, but from what I see things are not going the way they want, the bad thing about Barcelona is that it is in the League and the UCL the real Madrid.

It's obviously a bad performance by Barcelona in their  match against Bayern with that no shot on goal in front of their fans as well as a defeat both home and away tells how much Barcelona performance had declined in UCL, I remembered those days when Barcelona used to dominate UCL unfortunately reverse is the case now in terms of the team performances, I hope they won't continue to struggle in Laliga as well Europa league, as it stand now Group in D Tottenham chances of qualification for the knockout stages is guaranteed if they play atleast a draw against Merseille in their last match, a loss will be dangerous.
I think that the fact that Inter's win over Victoria Pilsen deprived Barcelona of even a theoretical chance of reaching the playoff stage had a role in such a Barcelona game. Barcelona president Joan Laporta said on this occasion that watching Inter win was like torture, because they hoped for a miracle, but it did not happen. On the other hand, I personally think that this should not serve as an excuse for losing and the lack of shots on goal, because even before that, it was clear to all sane people that Inter was obliged to win at home and solve the issue of the team's participation in the playoff stage. Barcelona had to show with this match that the team is on the way to restoring the old traditions, but to the great regret of the club's fans, this did not happen and, frankly, Bayern Munich won this match and it turned out even easier than in the first match in Munich.

Yes, you're absolutely right about that, but there's something we can't forget, I saw Inter's game, and it was totally crazy when Lukaku came on, the truth is he's a player who does everything very well on the pitch, Besides, he makes things look very easy, really when he entered he almost scored, and he made the second wall, wow the goal was phenomenal, it is that in reality the small area of the opposing team moved as if he were playing in the street, he I saw as if he were an adult playing against children, I don't know if it's because of his temperament, but I saw that they couldn't against him, the truth is that I really liked how they won and it was a resounding victory, no doubts were generated by no reason.

What Barcelona said were pure excuses, a team like that should never depend on the results of other teams, for me they lacked a lot of quality and there Muller made it clear to Lewa that it was a mistake that he had gone to Barcelona.

I don't think aubameyang leaving is a problem or a mistake and i don't think the problem is in Barcelona attack but their weakness is in the middlfiel and the defence, they need to find quickly some solution to save the season and at least play for la liga title
It's not a problem. Aubameyang rarely joined into the main squad, leaving from barcelona was not become a mistake. I think people understand this perfectly about how barcelona can start the season with a good start with lewandoski but i think that people became overrated with barcelona. Barcelona can be beaten easily by bayern munich but yeah the mental from barcelona's player already gone since intermilan was winning the game against plzen.
I just wanna say if the current squad of barcelona didn't meet expectation to compete in the champion league. that's better for barcelone to use another financial clever to buy new players from another club. This club has been blaming by so many people now.

Well I say something, Aubameyang for me if it was a mistake that Xavi let him go, I praise that he brought a very good one who was Lewa, but I'm sure that if they had left Aubameyang they would have passed without any problem to the round of 16, For me at first I saw how Barcelona took an impressive level in terms of signing many players, and not so expensive, that's something I admire a lot, but in the end not even qualifying for the Round of 16? leaving for a Europa League, which is not bad, but I'm sure it's not the place for them, I think the punishment for Barcelona is very strong, many fans must be disappointed.

Well, I think they have been very tough with Barcelona:

Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich: Barca slump to disastrous Champions League exit as Group C winners confirmed

And the full-time score is 0-3.

In the end they remained the clowns in the Champions League for 2 seasons in a row, this is clearly a blow, especially in this case the expectations of Barcelona fans are clearly high because in the transfer market they spend a lot of money.
This could be the next disaster for Barcelona. They like to bet by spending a lot of money in the transfer market and carry out various strategies that were not easy at that time to bring some great and expensive players to the club. With the hope that they can win or at least qualify for the last 16 stages and beyond. But unfortunately, they have to be in a tough group. And it seems that they are not capable enough to maximize their potential so they fail. I think Xavi and Barcelona are currently very confused because this failure will mainly affect their financial problems.

Well, the truth is that this is something that I always said, if Barcelona failed in the UCL, things were going to go downhill, this is something that little by little is happening to them, it's a shame, the truth is that I wanted them to at least reach round of 16, Xavi perhaps has all the best intentions to do what is best for the club, but sometimes things don't work out, they are not yet at the level to be in the UCL, I feel sorry for Lewa because he is a player that if it's worth it, but that happens when they go to a club that doesn't support them, it's almost the same thing that happened to CR7, if CR7 had stayed at Juve everyone would be fine.

It was a pleasure to see PSG at work this week. They now also have a good coach who can get along well with his players. You see a lot more fun with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. To score 7 goals is quite decent, even if they didn't play against a very strong team. They are the big favorite for the title in my opinion, but there are more teams. Last year they also had great opportunities but they had a lot of bad luck against Real Madrid. I don't see them winning this year but you don't know, the ball is round. And how do we actually measure Bayern Munich this season? In the competition it is mediocre, but in the CL everything has been won against Inter and Barcelona so far. A nice outsider for the title would be Napoli.
The Champions League title will be hard to obtain this season. Most favourite teams form is quite similar and a surprising defeat will occur at any moment.
I am curious about Group D and the ranking of some teams but also about the face to face between the 16 teams. I think City, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern will keep moving unless facing each others. For Napoli I don't think they will go very far although they have a good performance this season.

I was surprised at the Frankfurt 2:1 Marseille. I had hoped for more goals in the which rather came handy in the first half. Marseille though they lost, they proved that they were more than capable of winning the yesterday's fixture.

The match was very competitive. Both teams performed very well. We saw a lot of goals in the first half. The Frankfurt team went ahead 1-0 in just 3 minutes of the match. Matteo's goal in the 22nd minute tied the match at 1-1, but Frankfurt scored another goal just 5 minutes later to go ahead 2-1. But I expected to see a few more goals in the second half. But despite several good second-half attacks Marseille was unable to score again and lost the match. But Group D turns out to be very interesting. Four teams still have equal chances to qualify for the next round.
In the early matches, it seemed that they did not want to linger and immediately kicked off at the beginning so this was indeed quite exciting to watch, especially with 27 minutes 3 goals could happen, it was really a very good game.
But indeed they have to do that because they still have a chance to be in the Champions League or at least in the Europa League because the difference in their points is currently very thin.

For Barcelona i am not surprised that they got kicked out from the Group as there was very good teams beside Viktoria Pilsen.
Yes, when the CL group stage draw was made, people immediately started hinting at Barcelona being eliminated, and that was what happened in the end, it was a group that had three good teams, one (Bayern Munich) was sure of qualification to the next round, and the other two (Inter Milan and Barcelona) now had to fight for the second all important spot, and unfortunately for Barcelona, Inter Milan won that battle. Having said that, i am pretty sure quite a lot of Barcelona players will be distraught at their current situation, many of them didn't sign for Barcelona to play in the Europa League, the Barca hierarchy themselves will be absolutely disappointed, but it is what it is, and they have to challenge for the titles they are in, and the Europa League is now one of them.
They can't compete with Bayern Munich and also Inter Milan so they should be eliminated more quickly in the Champions League this season. Disappointments will certainly exist, but if they drag on in disappointment it will be bad for the club. They should take this as a lesson and improve themselves more in the future. You could say they failed miserably in the Champions League this time because they only tasted victory against the weakest club in the Champions League, they could not beat the 2 strong clubs in this group.

I can still remember a time where Barcelona would have been the most dangerous team in that group, leaving the others struggling for a slot. Now, what they get is a trip to the Europa League where they are still not going to win. Arsenal is still a dominant force there and they are more capable of winning than trophy with little struggle.

I was surprised at the Frankfurt 2:1 Marseille. I had hoped for more goals in the which rather came handy in the first half. Marseille though they lost, they proved that they were more than capable of winning the yesterday's fixture.
Barcelona needs to quickly get the team in composure, because it seems the pattern of play during Messis presence has been modified to suit the new players present. It was quite disappointing to have been knocked out of the Champions league after showing so much promise. It is clear how the person of Jessi hugely imparted the performance of the  team. They would have to slug it out along side Arsenal. I hope they perform better, else this will become a rising struggle for a big team.
On the other hand, PSG  is one. team with hopes of clenching the title. That is, if they maintain their recent scoring. and playing form.

It's like we are seeing the same scenario for two seasons especially.

Some big teams are unexpectedly eliminated in the Champions League and they continue on their way in the Europa League. This time there are teams like Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Ajax for example. Atletico Madrid might not even qualify for the Europa League though depending on the results on the final week. There is Sevilla there also but I don't see it interesting because they are known by the Europa League more actually. Because they won the title there so many times.
Should we say football is revolving, the small teams are stepping up there games. Clubs like club Brugge and Napoli have been serious dark horses this season, should we say the idea of super league by top teams actually made the small teams up there game.

For Barcelona i am not surprised that they got kicked out from the Group as there was very good teams beside Viktoria Pilsen.
Should I say I was a bit surprised to see been relegated to the Europa league considering there squad and also signings they did this season. The battle was actually between inter and Barca on who to finish second because we all know Bayern had the top spot secured. I was actually expecting inter to get relegated to UEL because of there last 3 season performance in champions league.

it was a surprise that happened in the ucl this season. how impossible it is for Barcelona not to qualify for the next round and of course no one thought they had to play in the Europa League but in reality it all happened. well one fate maybe we will see group E where we will see an opportunity from Ac milan to qualify for the next round in the life and death match against Rb salzburg because if AC milan loses then the euro league will await them and vice versa. This season's champions league was full of surprises in the group phase where Barcelona, Juventus, and Ajax had to go home first due to loss after loss. PSG, Bayern, Manchester City and Real Madrid are still the strongest candidates in the UCL and I think the knockout round will be quite an interesting spectacle.
I think what is actually so concerning about Barcelona now getting into the Europa League is that it has happened for the second time in a row. That is probably a historic event, I haven't fact checked that though. Thinking back to the times when Messi was still there, it was unimaginable that Barcelona would ever play Europa League let alone two years in a row. I am curious how they are going to be dealing with it as it also entails further problems financially. Signing new players is much harder, keeping good players is harder and sponsorships might also become less attractive over time. Now the last point I mentioned won't play a role yet as Barcelona has its reputation and it is still great, but if they keep failing to qualify for the final round in the Champions League that reputation will also start to fall apart at some point.
Currently, there are very talented players in Barcelona in terms of the quality of the player pool. Strategies and game order in the game did not fully understand, there is still a problem there. This year, the club you mentioned has worn itself out financially. The Champions League was very important. For now, they should focus on the league cup, they have a very strong rival there, it's difficult, in short, Barcelona's

Barcelona has a lot of talented players. Barcelona has plenty of talented players in attack and midfield. But the party is still not stable. The bonding between the players is still not good. I would say their match strategy is weak. Also their defense is weak. Against Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, Barcelona's defense was very fragile. And Barcelona lost points in these matches due to poor defense. However, apart from these matches, the performance of Barcelona's defenders against other teams was excellent. However, Xavi should be given more time to stabilize and strengthen the team. He might be able to solve the team's problems.

I don't know what's wrong with Barcelona's management, I think it's good as expected but the results of his campaign this season are not very impressive. Barcelona failed to advance to the last 16 of the Champions League actually not because they don't have good management, it's because 3 out of 4 teams in the group are strong teams and I think people shouldn't ignore that.

The problem is not as complicated as I think, I really see things differently from their performance in Laliga where Barcelona are able to maintain a consistent game with only 3 points away from the leader of the table. This season's Champions League is difficult for Barcelona, the same may be recognized by all the teams in the group but if Barcelona are ready on all fronts then the result may not be the same.
Indeed, in this case we also cannot ignore the fact that in their group there are Bayern and Inter but it is clear in terms of actual performance that Barcelona is more superior than Inter.
Their consistency was disrupted when some of their core players were injured and it became a bit complicated when Xavi couldn't make up for this with the existing players so their balance was a little shaky with the hectic schedule and some big games that had to be passed in the midst of their condition not being 100 percent strong because of some problems. their players leave.

But that doesn't matter now because they have nothing to say now and have to accept that their place is the Europa League.
Inter is definitely worse than Barcelona in many aspects but the fact is that it was just 6 game series and within like just 4 games Barcelona already lost their chances. Bayern is not unachievable levels for barcelona neither, at the start of the season when they built this roster people believed that they could have finished the group at top, or maybe fail and be second but beating Bayern wasn't impossible.

Now looking back, not only they lost to Bayern but they didn't even manage to beat Inter and that’s their problem. This is called underachievement and when a team does that, usually they need to overachieve somewhere else to make up for it, which they only have league left.

This is really good. You predicted the future very easily, and all the predictions were logical. I also agree with you. But in the match between Bayern Munich and Barcelona, I would like to give Barcelona a 70% chance to win. Because the game will be held at the Camp Nou due to which Barça will get different support.

Well, thanks for that, but some games never really align sometimes, well Dortmund VS Man City became a draw 0 - 0 full respect to Kobel for his awesome defense, pretty much it was really a close match and Dortmund is familiar with Erling Halland's movements so they are aware of it and used this as their advantage in not letting Manchester City winning the game it is OK to get a draw than Manchester City winning this, and Leipzig VS Real Madrid is a close game but Real Madrid really did a great job, but it was not enough and Leipzig have come up victorious,

But the match that I guessed was the match between Barcelona VS Bayern Munich, which end up with Bayern Munich winning the familiarity of Bayern Munich Lewandowski's gameplay, does solidify the winning of the team, Ajax VS Liverpool is an easy prediction, for me to predict Liverpool could win, while Napoli VS Rangers is like the Ajax Liverpool game, it was an easy prediction,

I am curious how they are going to be dealing with it as it also entails further problems financially. Signing new players is much harder, keeping good players is harder and sponsorships might also become less attractive over time. Now the last point I mentioned won't play a role yet as Barcelona has its reputation and it is still great, but if they keep failing to qualify for the final round in the Champions League that reputation will also start to fall apart at some point.

it was a surprise that happened in the ucl this season. how impossible it is for Barcelona not to qualify for the next round and of course no one thought they had to play in the Europa League but in reality it all happened. well one fate maybe we will see group E where we will see an opportunity from Ac milan to qualify for the next round in the life and death match against Rb salzburg because if AC milan loses then the euro league will await them and vice versa.
The next round in the Champions League is always the interesting one as they have mostly one chance to get into next round .
For Barcelona i am not surprised that they got kicked out from the Group as there was very good teams beside Viktoria Pilsen.
The most interesting Group is where Frankfurt is playing as every team there has the chance to get into the next round stil.
