Manchester united may still have a little chance at qualifying for the round of 16 going by your analysis especially if I it plays out just as you have speculated and so far they are gradually showing they could possibly match up Bayern in the forth coming champion's league game but then I still have some doubt as to their consistency.

Manchester united don't seem like they are ready to win the champions league This Season, if they are lucky to get pass the group stage I doubt if they will get pass the round of 16 so it's almost needless qualifying because they may still end up crashing out of the league. It would be much more better they just leave at the group stage and probably focus on the premier league and if they are lucky to get to Europa then they redirect their attention there aswell.

No way this was acceptable by anyone. This result is never going to be acceptable by any Bayern Munich fans in my opinion. Because they are definitely a team that is capable of performing better than this. There was no way Frankfurt deserved to win this match by such a huge margin. If Bayern Munich actually took the necessary steps and took the match seriously. It's definitely true that they have made a huge mistake by not taking their opponent seriously.

Actually this is something I have seen them doing from time to time. They do not take a certain match seriously because the opponent is weaker and then they end up losing the match. I absolutely agree that in the match against Frankfurt, Bayern Munich did not prepare themselves the best because they thought the match was actually going to be easy. But the match was definitely not easy. And we all saw that Bayern Munich should have prepared themselves better for this match. By looking at what happened. I thought this was an important match for them to win because if they did not win this match, which eventually they didn't, they have actually given Bayer Leverkusen the chance to get ahead in terms of points by a clear margin.
