I agree with you guys who think Manchester City's being favoured more than Real Madrid for the CL trophy is ridiculous. It is like 3.25 to 4.00 for the moment.  Smiley

I'm not intending to disrespect the Manchester club of course. They are very strong and have a wonderful coach like Guardiola also. But still they are far away from the point Real Madrid are at in this competition.

Real Madrid are dominating the CL. We are talking about a 15-time champion... I'm expecting a back-to-back title from them already. They are like an ecole here and now they have Mbappe too.  Grin

Almost every season Manchester City is the most favorite team for winning UEFA Champion League but last season although become most favorite team but easily eliminating by Real Madrid in the quarter final round. I don't sure with ratio percentage prediction above put Real Madrid under Manchester City position for favorite team become the Champion League winner.
It's not true, Real Madrid struggled to get rid of Manchester City in the Champions League title the previous season and that was never considered easy. Real Madrid certainly has a lower probability than Manchester City, but Real Madrid has greater experience in minimizing pressure and qualifying for the final. Manchester City deserve to be favorites because of the experience of the coach and the quality of the players, but last season luck was not on their side.

For the 2024-2025 season, I think Real Madrid will have difficulty defending the Champions League title. Even though they have a good squad, defending the Champions League title in two consecutive seasons is very difficult. I know Real Madrid did it several seasons ago, but maybe not again next season.

You can check the odds at any bookmaker, they are more or less the same everywhere.
Changing the Champions League format will not change the fact that 90% of the same clubs will play in the playoffs as always. If I remember correctly, even if both teams are in the same group in the preliminary stage, they may well meet, for example, in the quarterfinals. That is, theoretically, we can see 3 games for one pair of teams.
It is always hard to predict an even that will happen in future amd the bookmakers are only giving out these odds based on their own understanding and factors that they have considered. Last season nobody say Dortmund reaching the finals and I still believe that next season we might see surprises from clubs that are no in the list here.

I don't know why the bookers do put City as the
first when we all know that Real Madrid is better than City and favorite when it come to UCL
. However, I believe that it is in the round of 16 that the league will take shape and become tougher because most regular strong clubs will always be in the round of 16. As the league starts and continue going far, the bookmakers will start changing their odds.

Yes, I also find it funny. Let's say in previous seasons when Real was actively rebuilding (and City was already a formed team + they took Haaland) it could be somehow justified, but the fact that Real is now rated worse than City (and not by a couple of percent, but seriously worse) is just ridiculous. On paper/player selection Real are stronger than City (or at least equal), coaching wise Real are undeniably better (Ancelotti has proven his superiority with a weaker squad). Apparently bookmakers base their odds on betting cash flow which is somehow greater for City?

Partizan was not in good form. Partizan players could not put up any resistance against Dynamo in both matches. Partizan conceded a shameful defeat. In both matches we saw only Dynamo players dominating.

Rangers team is not a weak team. And I think Rangers are fully capable of winning against Dynamo. A few days ago Rangers faced Union Berlin in a friendly match. Rangers played well enough and the match was drawn 4-4. So I can't consider this squad as weak in any way. I think Rangers team is stronger than even Dynamo. Hopefully we can enjoy a competitive match.
While I agree that Rangers are a much much better team than Partizan, it is still debatable who will win that game, Kyiv is a great team and could still win, I am still shocked that they are capable of playing football that way, after all the war and such I would have expected them to stop but they did not, which is a very shocking information.

But I think Rangers will still have hard time, while I think Rangers may still win, there isn't really any guarantee in that game. I find both of those teams quite close to each other and the result will be very close. Rangers "may" look a bit better, financially they are definitely doing better as well, but that doesn't mean that they are going to get the win, sometimes money is not the whole thing.

This champions league qualifiers has been nothing but a blessing to me because almost all the games I bet on and predicted to win actually came straight up for me, infact the only that game was like a surprise to me was the maccabi tel Aviv game where they lost at home to the visiting team and I was very confident and played it with  5$ hoping to double but they disappointed but the rest winning were as a parley selection of different games.
Great to know that most of your predictions in your betting have you winnings at the end of the day. That the joy of every gambler and I'm happy to see that you got those winnings just like you predicted. I actually didn't bet on the UCL qualifying games but what I had I mind played out the way I had predicted them and I would've also shared in your joy of winning of I had staked on the games.
Hopefully, I'll gather the momentum to bet on the other games in the qualifying phase as well as the playoffs.

Perhaps one of the toughest matches of the round, Tel Aviv-FCSB was won by FCSB.The Romanian team managed to win the round with a single goal away from home. The 1-1 draw in the first match was actually a disadvantage for FCSB, but the team managed to defeat its opponent away from home and took the round away.
Dinamo Minsk, on the other hand, although they managed to win at home, they failed to pass the round as they were defeated 2-0 in the first match.
PAOK, on the other hand, I think had a hard time getting through the round. It was strange that a team with so much experience in European competitions had a hard time getting through the round against a team whose name I've never even heard of.

Jose Mourinho has pocketed a lot of experience and awards while coaching big European clubs so Fenerbahce is lucky enough to get this coach to improve their game, even though Jose Mourinho is known as a coach with an old-school coaching system, the proof is that he still has the ability to coach Fenerbahce in the qualifying round this time but yes in the next round Fenerbahce will face one of the clubs from the top league, namely League 1 so it is not an easy thing for Jose Mourinho to make his club beat Lille but with his experience it seems he will provide his best strategy so that his club can qualify to play in the Champions League next season.
I wouldn't want to see like fenerbahce is just lucky because I believe Mourinho too would have gone for a better offer if there was any, this still doesn't mean he's not got a choice tho but there was an agreement before a deal was struck so no one is luckier than the other. I'm not ignoring the wealth of experience and excellent Mourinho has gotten but then we should understand it's the reason he's getting hired even if he may not be at his peak as he used to be, fernabache is hoping they get the best regardless, but then one thing is certain, in other to avoid disappointments, the expectations from him shouldn't be really high as he's gotten pass his prime.
I think it's Jose Mourinho is the one who's just luck because not that fenerbahce as a club was dieing off and needed Mourinho to rival it back to standard, it's just with a common struggling moment that it's common with football clubs at different moment. Mourinho has a great coaching record and experience no doubt but his technique to win games are far outdated and he's someone that chose to be conservative with his strategy not wanting to adapt to the new improved style of current football. And I think he may have some difficulties continuing same with fenerbahce and may not meet expectations given under the contract. We saw that with him at Roma after his first season he started dropping in results.

In the qualifying match of the Champion League doing multibet with 5 matches 4 other guesses were correct only one match failed Borac vs PAOK I think in this match will score each other but apparently not PAOK managed to maintain its 1 goal advantage. Ah a little unlucky just one loss ruined all bets.
It looks like the 3rd qualifying round will be even more interesting and it will take place next week some clubs I may have scouted and it will be interesting in making bets again.

Why would you think they'd be complacent after winning big in the first leg? I checked their match history and it seems like they take this competition seriously. I don't think resting key players is a bad choice and even if they trail by 3 goals in the first half doesn't mean they can't change anything by the second half. Not to mention the target is the Champions League, not some local cups that has no history at all.
Because I lost many bets because of this kind of incidents. A team win the first leg by a big goal gap and show how much they overwhelm their opponent. After that, I bet on them in the second leg by thinking they would win again. But they surprise me by getting a draw or lose because of being complacent.  Grin  Therefore I started not to place a bet in this kind of situations.

Honestly, it is not a good idea for someone to fully predict a match based only on what happened in the first leg. A match in the first leg doesn't always guarantee that the team will win the second leg. Winning the first leg match can be lucky or likely based on some factors. In the second leg, everything can change due to various factors. Any team's performance can improve or decline at any time; all these happen because of one or two factors. In fact, this is the reason why many gamblers who bet on football matches lose because they always focus on what has happened to predict matches. But that is not supposed to be; we need to always consider present factors of teams before predicting their outcome.

Bodo Glimt defeated Rigas Skola 3-1 on the road to win 7-1 on aggregate and advance through the round. It is clear that Bodo is a weak opponent.
Midtjylland, on the other hand, took advantage of their 3-0 away win and won 1-0 at home against their opponents to advance.
Dynamo Kiev, on the other hand, beat Partizan, whom they beat 6-2, 3-0 away from home.We can understand that the opponents of these teams are not very difficult, as the matches are full of goals.

Fenerbahçe had that much difficulty because of not being fully ready for the new season. Otherwise there is a huge strength gap between them and Lugano. Not only by squad but also by manager quality.  Grin

There are only 5 days until they face Lille in third qualifying round. The first leg is in France. Mourinho will need to make sure of his players to get ready. In case of getting a bad loss they might say goodbye to the tournament early.

The loser side drops down to the Europa League league phase directly by the way. But they would absolutely like to be a part of the Champions League instead. You know the big difference in the amount of money given to teams just for reaching the league phase.  Smiley

The recruitment of Mourinho as coach is nothing more than an effort to restore Fenerbache performance in the domestic league which has always been dominated by Galatasaray, with the experience that Mourinho has so far, of course they hope that he will be able to restore Fenerbache glory in Super Lig , while in the Champions League of course not will be a burden for Mourinho even though he is a very experienced coach, because for now the Champions League is not a target that Mourinho must fulfill, I think Fenerbache management is also aware of the quality and depth of their squad which is currently not capable and it is difficult to go far in the champions league in mourinho first season coaching fenerbache.

Bayern will always be in the pool of contenders for the Champions League title, but now their odds are much smaller than usual:

Manchester City - 3.25
Real Madrid - 4.00
Arsenal - 10.00
Liverpool - 11.00
Barcelona Fc - 13.00
Fc Bayern Munich - 13.00
Inter - 17.00
Paris Saint Germain - 17.00

In fact, the probability that they will win the Champions League is estimated at 7.5%. It is interesting that last year we had several favorites, with an even decrease in odds, and next season there are two favorites, and the rest of the clubs are lagging behind quite a lot.
Could you give us about source link prediction for the UEFA Champion League winner season 2024/25?

I don't sure with ratio percentage prediction above put Real Madrid under Manchester City position for favorite team become the Champion League winner.

Champion League season 2024/25 adopt with new format but from knock out round still with the same format, I think only two candidate teams have bigger opportunity for winning UEFA Champion League between Real Madrid or Manchester City. But both teams have to face early before the final round such as last season faced in the quarter final round.

We have seen many examples of their being eliminated by much weaker teams in such competitions because of that.  Sad  At least Fenerbahçe didn't let it happen yesterday which was relieving.

Next opponent is Lille, yeah. They are a much more serious team. Fenerbahçe can't show the same performance if they want to reach playoff round. I hope Mourinho prepare his player better for that draw.
So far Fenerbahce have been very good and as you said, Fenerbahce have passed the test with weaker teams. Now they have a worthy opponent or maybe a bit stronger. Lille are one of the best teams in the qualifying round. I see Qarabag, Twente and Lille as the favorites in the UCL qualifying round. Fenerbahce should not be underestimated either. The match against Lille will be a real challenge for them. Jose Mourinho might have a way to beat Lille. Let's see how Fenerbahce perform in the first leg.
Fenerbahce succeeded in advancing to the 3rd round of Champions League qualifying by beating Lugano 6-4 on aggregate, this was their first step which they succeeded in doing quite well. However, the challenge doesn't just end after they get through the second round, they will face LOSC, which in my opinion is an even match for them. Now is not the time for them to relax to celebrate their success in this round, because they have to immediately prepare even though the match is still a week away.

The Champions League is a competition that is eagerly awaited by everyone and for clubs the Champions League is the competition they dream of because this is the biggest competition in Europe. They have to do a lot of preparation to be here, especially those who must first carry out qualifying matches because they failed to qualify automatically for their respective domestic leagues.

I had a great feeling that FCSB will qualify instead of Maccabi but unfortunately didn't have any spare money to place a bet on this game but I'm still very proud of FCSB to qualify further and keep the UCL dream alive for Romania. However , next game against Sparta Praga will be pretty difficult and even if he really don't have a chance , I still believe this current team of FCSB can display a great football and the players will give 110% in order to achieve the UCL groups. If not , we still have a chance to catch Europe League groups but it's been way to long since a Romanian team played in UCL groups and this team is the most capable one of doing it.

The victory of Bodo Glimt, Midtjylland or even Dynamo Kiev is certainly not surprising but what happened to Maccabi Tel Aviv was really unexpected. In fact, I think they are one of the promising participants in every Champions League qualification and this time they had to be eliminated first after Petrocub beat them with a score of 0-1 and made Petrocub win with an aggregate of 1-2.

Even though Maccabi Tel Aviv played as the host in the second leg, they were the ones who were under pressure in front of their own fans. There is a good thing that I can avoid from this match because previously I wanted to include Maccabi Tel Aviv in the bet but luckily I didn't continue it and I think this is the right decision because it makes me more aware that anything can still happen even though the underdog team can win in the end.
