City still has a chance to advance to the next round even though they have to go through the play-off round. And Pep as a coach must be able to maximize that opportunity well. and in my opinion with his experience, Pep should be able to bring City back to winning ways, plus Pep has enough time to improve City's performance in the Champions League, because City will return to competing in the Champions League on January 23, 2025, where City will travel to Pcs Des Princes to face the strongest team in the French league, namely PSG. A fairly difficult match, but a great coach is a coach who is able to take advantage of and maximize the opportunities he gets even though they are very small.

Depending on the results obtained at the last match. Consideration of the last match that will take place simultaneously, Manchester City will be a away team that will play at home to PSG. You can judge for yourself how PSG is now in the Champions League table. PSG is in 25th position with 7 points. Meanwhile Manchester City collected 8 points and is in 22 position.
If Manchester City is able to take 1 point against PSG and in another match Stuttgart is able to win 3 points, Manchester City will automatically fail to advance to the last 16.

The Pep Guardiola saga is becoming so obvious that things are wrong. Due to his past records and achievements, people have refused to acknowledge the obvious. They are expecting Pep to pull off a surprise from nowhere whereas Pep is indeed aware that he is in trouble.
Once a fearful Manchester City is becoming an EPL tou for every club. I just wish that Pep and his boys will regain their form before the resumption of the next round of the Champions League, if not, things will go wrong to a large extent.
There's no doubt that City could get back in track, but it's almost becoming doubtful. Pep should hasten up, things are not always as seen.
Maybe at this time there are still many who believe in Pep even though the results are always unsatisfactory, including in the match that just finished in the English League where they were only able to draw when hosting Everton.
However, if this continues, then more people will be fed up and may soon voice discordant tones, such as demanding to fire Pep.
The achievements he has given to Manchester City will be greatly appreciated, but that alone is not enough, because competition will always be there and at the same time they also have to play well. Pep really has to rack his brains to restore the performance of his players.
The moment we all come to understand that no one is a master of knowledge we will appreciate the good times and expect the worst as well. I mean Pep and his boys has been dominant in every competition in previous seasons and this season it seems he is slacking. This doesn't mean he has lost his good days but a clear indication that others are also making improvements on their selfs and team as the season goes by. All Guardiola needs is to go back to his drawing board come up with another strategy that will stand tall enough. I just feel all he needs is an upgrade on strategy.
as long as you have been known for producing good results, it is going to look strange to people when you start to get the opposite of what people expect of you and that happens consistently for so long a time. man city and real Madrid have been the giant of football and when you see them performing so badly, you don't have a choice than feel for them even if this is what can happen to any team. it is already a devastating one for pep but he just has to find a way of getting right back at it and start winning games because this is football, the moment you lose concentration for a period of time, your opponent can easily get at you and destroy you within that short interval of time. it will take a lot of hard work and doing the difficult thing before they can get back into the picture of the champions they are known for, but this is still going to be a test that pep has the potential of stepping up to.

At this point, I honestly believe that City should not care about UCL at all this season. It is not going to end up with them winning it, we can see that and know that, and going any further would give them just a smaller amount of money that they do not need, they are already a rich club. So, it would make more sense if they could just end up with a better return without having any of these issues.

I believe that we are going to see something great here, something that benefits everyone, and that will not be all that easy to recover if they focus on UCL too much. Ignore UCL, and focus on EPL and try to be in the top four at the end of the season, that is all they should be caring about at the moment.

The truth is that once Manchester City get their form back, it is possible they will focus on both the Champions League and their domestic league. However, if Guardiola notices that they are still in average form, he will definitely prefer to focus more on the Premier League so they can finish in a better position in the league table, ensuring Manchester City qualify for next season's Champions League.

At this moment, even if they focus solely on the Premier League, they are still likely to get bad results because they are not in good form. Let's just wait and see what happens in the January transfer window; maybe Guardiola will be able to sign a great player to replace Rodri.

and regarding Man City's position in the English league, currently its position continues to decline and is now in 7th position in the standings, but the points difference between teams is quite thin, except for Liverpool, so if Man City is able to return to winning ways, finishing in 4th position is very possible.

Manchester City's season is not going well at all. We can't say that the start of the Champions League is good at all for Guardiola's team. However, their influence in every previous league is etched in the minds of football fans and they hope that Guardiola will return to his old form with his team. However, we cannot judge anyone by looking at the bad state of one season. They should learn from their failures how other teams are improving and getting ahead of them. They should learn from other teams how to update themselves day by day. However, I think Pep Guardiola is a talented manager. Although he has kept a bit of silence this season, he has kept his pressure in the past. We cannot deny the flip side of the coin, maybe this time is not good for Manchester City. But I believe that Guardiola will return to the field very soon with a new plan.
Pep Guardiola has tried all his plan but none seems to be working out for him I will say this is a very bad season for Manchester City I believe this season is also pep Guardiola worst season as a couch I can't really tell what is wrong with the team because same players he is using now was thesame players he used last season if not for Rodri that has been out due to injury in the past weeks and I think a team will play so poor because of one player as Manchester City has been as a team that always have multiple players in one position it could also be that the players are tired or they are affected by fatigue since they have been dominating the league in the past season I wish they will be back to winning ways again.

Manchester City really experienced a very bad setback in the current league both at UCL and at EPL, it is true that I agree with you at UCL it is very small, but in the EPL it is still very long and can reverse the situation so that if Pep is focused In the EPL it might increase its position in EPL, seeing Chelsea who continue to advance and develop well in EPL after a long time they have been slumped, it is a great thing, of course Manchester City with a large PEP can be missed this season by not giving competition Means that in the EPL league, losing UCL will not be a problem, but that if we will have a win win solution for Man City Agara can bring the trophy this season.

Real Madrid have endured a difficult moment this season but what I think is very commendable about the club is the club manager's calmness in handling challenges of the club. Losing your top players to injury is an experience that's left so many top managers underperforming with their teams but Ancelotti have been able to manage the injury cases at the club.
At the moment, some of the top players of Real Madrid are still not fit but the team is performing better than how they started the season which is a good development. Optimistically, I think Real Madrid will definitely make it to the next round of the UEFA Champions League competition
I just hope also that Real Madrid will make it to the next round of UEFA. Because it is somehow for them not to make it to the next round. I can't remember when last Real Madrid was kicked out without making it to the round of 16 of the UEFA competition.

In this season's Champions League competition, I still think highly of Real Madrid despite their lapses, to be the title contestant of the Champions League trophy. By next year, Ancelotti will get the form of Real Madrid back, to sign additional players to support the backing of the injured players

I don't Manchester City will be willing to find another coach despite Pep Guardiola recent struggles in both the Premier league and the Champions League. Pep Guardiola still remains City’s greatest manager and as such he is highly respected at the club and that's why they decided to extend his contract. Despite their recent struggles, the club hierarchy will be confident that Guardiola will be able to get Manchester City back to their best.

Not a lot of people have given up on Pep Guardiola yet, they have been playing poorly but many people still have confidence in him that he’s going to revive the club and they will still come back to their winning ways as usual. Manchester City was one of the best for the champions league trophy and also well positioned for the premier league title fight at the beginning of the season and all of a sudden, everything changed and since then we haven’t seen the best of them till now, just draw and losses on a continuous run for so long now. Since we still have a lot of confidants in Pep Guardiola, we might see them get back to their winning ways before the end of the season. I hope it won’t be too late for them when they do.
The Pep Guardiola saga is becoming so obvious that things are wrong. Due to his past records and achievements, people have refused to acknowledge the obvious. They are expecting Pep to pull off a surprise from nowhere whereas Pep is indeed aware that he is in trouble.

Obviously, we have not witnessed such a rough season under Pep Guardiola before, so,  many people are still hopping for a bounce back from him, Therefore, it becomes difficult for people to agree that actually, things has taken a different direction under the current of Pep Guardiola. I'm actually looking forward towards the end of the season to see the position he will finish in the league table, and that's really when I'm going to conclude of his actual failure.
Maybe this is the end of his journey with Man City, it is not possible that if he continues to experience defeat, there will be a dismissal for him, the cycle of club decline will always exist, not forever Man City will dominate the Premier League, so with a process like this that has often happened so it is not surprising, if this season is the season where Pep Guardiola gets a very heavy test with his performance and of course there will be pressure from management to end his performance in handling Man City, sooner or later the news will come out in the upcoming transfer market.

This season Liverpool have been consistent and great form in dominating every UCL and EPL game although they have limited squad depth as you say, this season they only recruited Cessa in the transfer market last summer and he still hasn't been able to make a significant contribution to Liverpool due to his frequent injuries, so improving squad depth should be a priority for the slot in January to prevent their downfall if some key players get injured later, especialy with the many competitions they have participated in this season, recruiting new and experienced players should be a solution even for the long term, so that it will make it easier for slots to rotate players in different matches or competitions while still maintaining their chances of winning the match.

There is no doubt that Liverpool are in great form this season. Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table. They have played 2 games less than Chelsea, who are in second place, but they are still 4 points ahead. Although Liverpool's performance has been erratic in a few matches, they will continue to be at the top of the table. Liverpool is also playing very well in the Champions League. Looking at Liverpool's performance, it seems that they have the ability to win the Champions League title. We have seen Liverpool win all the matches in the Champions League. I am looking forward to seeing how Liverpool performs in the knockout round matches.

Liverpool have shown a very impressive performance this season, although their focus is currently divided in the domestic league and UCL but still they are still consistent in achieving every victory so far, despite having limitations in squad depth, but still they are able to overcome the pressure in every important and crucial match so far, honestly I am actually optimistic if Liverpool can go far in the English league, but I think we also have to think realistically if without an increase in the squad in the transfer market later, of course their chances are still 50/50 in the UCL knockout phase, because after all the knockout phase is a phase that will greatly test their mentality and consistency, so without an adequate squad it will be difficult to face strong opponents later.

this guy is really playing well these last few days
I must say that i hadnt given him much consideration but that he is proving himself as a valid player, and consequently his team gains a lot from having a player who scores
clearly, i don't know if this performance of his lasts..
Age is not a barrier for him to continue to perform well.
Moh Salah's service period will end in June, there are still 6 months left for Liverpool to continue to work on extending his contract. One year may be enough for him to stay at Anfield, but until now there has been no good news, maybe we will soon hear in the mid-season transfer market whether he will stay or leave, because I am sure there are still big clubs who want him.

no true, i didn't mean that
but you have to admit that playing at an older age becomes more problematic, the body does not react as it did when they were young and injuries are more frequent
I too would like my football idols to play for a long time, but unfortunately nature does not allow exceptions

The problem that Manchester City is currently facing is very complicated and also wants to surprise when in the last 4 seasons they were actually very good and in a very short time they finally declined drastically. It is very natural when they focus on the Champions League, because this is also the biggest competition they play, apart from the English League. But what you said is also true, when their focus is divided then it will make them need a long time to recover. while in the English League itself they are still very difficult to get a win after experiencing a decline.

Manchester City's problem right now is going worse and their reputation is almost being affected because they are not doing well in all competition, if they shift their focus on fighting for their position in the champions league they will still not get better because they have had zero points in their last two matches in the champions league while in the English Premier League where they dominated for 4 years they have been struggling to get a point in their last 5 matches, I think what the team needs now is just to work on getting back to their feet as they can not get better even though they decide to become more serious in the champions league than their domestic league. Manchester City can not get a trophy with this performance they are currently on right now I think it's time for Pep Guardiola to think of rebuilding the team again.

It's still a sensible choice if you're considering Real Madrid because Real Madrid can be very good in the knockout phase anyway. Because from the previous few seasons also in my judgment Real Madrid is not too good in the group phase even so, Real Madrid still managed to become group winners and even still managed to get the trophy. Also, although this time the format  is no longer a group system, but at least Real Madrid also still has a chance to be able to advance further even though it might have to go through the play offs.

But anyway, if I consider about their position in the current standings, then of course Liverpool deserve to be the top favorite. But even so, I personally still don't fully believe Liverpool will make it to the final match and get the Champion League trophy this season. With that reason, I believe there could still be surprises to come, and the odds  for the other teams also are very good  in the screenshots below.

This table appears dynamic to me in the sense that it wasn't in this form before now, the odds were probably higher and Manchester city and Real Madrid as usual were having the smallest because it was believe they were the two teams with the most chance of wining the champions league title this season but going but the current form and strength of Liverpool, they are now looking even more promising than the teams who were having the most expectations from in the early time of the season. Arsenal and Real Madrid having the same odds feels strange as before now Arsenal will have higher odds than Madrid will.
Initially I was also thinking that this year's champions league title will be between Real Madrid and Manchester City but a lot has happened that made me have a change of mind. I think this is what is also happening with the odds that is changing always, the bookmakers are also seeing that and adjusting the odds according to the performance of the teams. Liverpool have shown remarkable performance and coupled with their champions league experience, it is possible for them to win the champions league but I'm still contemplating betting on that because I feel Real Madrid, Bayern Munic and even Barcelona still have a chance at winning the trophy.

We can definitely say that Pep Guardiola is wrong in the path he is currently following. He is currently facing the most criticism compared to his past record achievements. But we can expect that Pep Guardiola may surprise if he can clarify his strategy and his boys well. And if he cannot satisfactorily bring the full-back game to its previous position, then it will definitely be a mistake. We saw that they had a great performance in the Premier League last season but this season they have become very weak, moreover, they are also having a lot of weakness in the Champions League. However, if Manchester City can bring back their previous game in the Champions League in the next round, then it will definitely be a surprise for Pep. But I suspect that they may not be able to come back here, the current situation of Man City is really disappointing.

None of us have been able to identify the problem of Manchester City yet. The team played great last season. Even at the beginning of this season, Manchester City's performance was quite good. Manchester City was at the top of the table for a long time. Suddenly this team has lost its traction. And has started performing poorly consistently. We do not know why Manchester City is suddenly performing so strangely. Guardiola is trying his best to stabilize Manchester City. But Manchester City's performance is still very bad. Manchester City has won only one of the last 5 matches. We can see the poor performance of the players in both defense and attack.

We have not seen any changes in Manchester City's squad. Even then, Manchester City's performance is weak. Especially despite the fact that there is no change in Manchester City's defense, City's defense is very weak. Last season, Manchester City conceded 34 goals in 38 matches. This season, Manchester City has conceded 25 goals in 17 matches.

De Bruyne faced injury at the beginning of the season. Due to this, City's performance was a bit irregular. De Bruyne is now with the squad. However, one of the most important players in City's midfield, Rodri, is out of the squad due to injury. This may also be one of the reasons for City's irregular performance.
Man City is in such a weak condition at the moment and maybe they are in a bad season in the Premier League and in the Champions League. There have been no changes made by Pep Guardiola after they suffered consecutive defeats and even he lost his best ability to create a more convincing strategy to win. Haaland is starting to have difficulty scoring goals and not to mention seeing their defense area which has been so weak for the previous few matches.

De Bruyne also did not perform optimally because even though his presence in the team did not give a good effect. I think this is a season that will make Man City slump and it is difficult to restore the players' confidence to perform better after suffering many consecutive defeats as experienced by Man City.

Manchester City are not getting better performances from De Bruyne and Haaland this season. Haaland has scored 13 goals and 1 assist in 18 matches. De Bruyne has managed to score 2 goals and 2 assists in 11 matches. Manchester City are not getting good performances from their two most important players in the squad. At the same time, the team is not getting good performances from the defenders even though the defense has remained unchanged. Guardiola should now change City's match strategy. At the same time, find worthy replacements for Haaland and De Bruyne. If they cannot find worthy replacements for Haaland and De Bruyne, it will be difficult to stabilize Manchester City's overall performance.

Once a fearful Manchester City is becoming an EPL tou for every club. I just wish that Pep and his boys will regain their form before the rmesumption of the next round of the Champions League, if not, things will go wrong to a large extent.
There's no doubt that City could get back in track, but it's almost becoming doubtful. Pep should hasten up, things are not always as seen.
It's after the transfer window have closed next year is when I will see how the performance of City will be like. If they continue with their poor performance, and the additional new players didn't add any impact on the team performance is when City will be hopeless. However, if the additional new players had good impact on the club's performance, it means Pep has hope for a title.
