Both are unstable and even though Atletico lost by Barcelona I think it's natural, because they are a team that is at least balanced this season. But about Manchester United, which even in its last match was just eliminated in the FA Cup by Middlesbrough and even Middlesbrough itself is a team that plays in the Championship and is also not part of the top 5 in the standings, of course it is a serious consideration too. Indeed, there is still time for this UCL match and they can still improve it, but for me personally Atletico are still the best in this case.

This match will be competitive. I have seen the performance of Manchester United in FA Cup. Their performance was very poor. There is a problem with their match strategy. They have a lot of problems to score, at the same time the defenders are not playing well. Atletico Madrid's performance on the other hand is irregular. They have not been able to play consistently well. However, they are often performing well. They will definitely try to win against Manchester United.

Still have chance for Luis Suarez in this season but not guarantee he will extended for next year depending his contract is over on this season, looking his performance on second years with Atletico Madrid looks not consistent at the first season with Atletico Madrid, but I think he still have top performance right after giving one goal for Atletico last match when defeating by Barcelona. I think he will get regular position on Champion League for Atletico Madrid when against with Manchester United.
It will be very interesting to watch and watch when Atletico Madrid meet Manchester United in this season's Champions League and who do you think will be stronger ? because from my personal assessment it seems that these two clubs already have the talent to be equally strong so they need to play better to win.

I believe that both the teams are pretty equal right now, and the only difference will be which player will step for their respective team e.g. will it be Ronaldo or Squarez. Also with Pogba back it’ll be interesting to see if he can help Manchester United win, and win the game in style because I definitely don’t want to see a dull draw between these two sides.

Another big matchup that is closing in is Atletico Madrid - Manchester United obviously. Luis Suarez hasn't been in a good form lately. He gave an eight-match break until he scored again in the La Liga if I'm not mistaken. I understand that he is 35 years old but he is still productive in general compared to his age. And his performance also will be important for his team in this matchup. Besides, I see Manchester United as the favourite side in this matchup. I think they will get an advantageous result in the first game and finish it in Old Trafford.

Yes, I agree, in the Champions League he sort of scored his first goal for PSG if I'm not mistaken. I've also noticed that he plays better in the Champions League than in the league, but I don't know what that has to do with, because I think he has poor interaction with his teammates. By the way, I haven't heard of any illnesses. When was that?

it has little interaction for what I say, making real champions play together is very difficult
they also play too much, it is obvious .. if you use a car too much to travel many kilometers, you will first have to do the various checks and change the interior parts
and a car is made of steel and iron

Although Luis Suarez is 35 years old, he is still quite productive and remains a mainstay player at Atletico. It is proven that Luis Suarez can score

Really the fact that Luis Suarez continues to have good performances, despite his age, is an asset for Atlético de Madrid.

But I think Atlético de Madrid needs to start letting go of these players who have been with the club for many, many years. Since they are making room for new players and the emergence of a newer style of play, which will allow Altetico to take the leap it needs to become a more competitive club internally and externally.

Another thing they should do is change coaches. But that is far from happening.

Luis Suarez's contract expires at the end of this season, and it looks like Atletico have no desire to extend Luis Suarez's contract. Especially
when compared to the previous season, Luis Suarez's productivity has decreased. So it was a very good decision for Atletico to let Suarez go
at the end of the season, because as you said, Atlético need to give chances to younger players. At least I want to see Suarez make a good
contribution in his last season with Atletico. Moreover, Atletico still survive in the Champions League competition, so there is still a chance
for Suarez to help Atletico qualify for the next round. Regarding the change of coach, it seems that there is no need to do it, because
Diego Simeone is still quite good as Atletico coach. Since becoming Atletico coach in 2011 until now, Simeone has given enough trophies to Atletico.
So what Atletico needs to do is buy some new players to strengthen their squad so they can go further in the Champions League competition.

I think Luis Suarez may well find strength and motivation in the Champions League matches, especially since there are not so many of them compared to the domestic championship games. As for the extension of the contract with Atletico Madrid, I heard that a lot depends on whether Uruguay will be able to get to the World Cup in Qatar, because if his national team gets there, Suarez is ready to make big compromises in wages for the sake of playing practice at a fairly strong top championship club. In any case, we will not be talking about a long-term contract, because top clubs, and Atletico Madrid can still be attributed to this category, do not want to bind themselves with long-term contracts with age-old players.

What happens when talent finally fades out ?
I'm talking about Lionel Messi at the moment, don't you think he has come to the final stages of his career ?
Has he been covered by the Barcelona's team, shadow ?I hope to see a positive impact from him in the Champions League .
They face Real Madrid, which he knows and also understands them better, I'm pretty sure he'll score a goal in this game.

I doubt age is the problem, he played great in spain despite his age. I won't compare him to Ronaldo because it's silly and hackneyed, but I agree about the adaptation. To play for one club for so many years and then move to another club and continue to play at the same level is very difficult. It`s unlikely about the language, I`m sure they all talk to each other, they just don`t have the chemistry yet. I've seen many moments when Messi was in an open position but they just did not give him a pass because they did not understand that thay had to do so.

Messi isn't in best shape right now, that's true. I mean he had a couple of health problems, including Coronavirus and his Champions League performance wasn't all that bad. Didn't he score 4 times or so so far? Let's see how he will be doing during the final stage games. Ligue 1 seems to not really be representative of his actual performance. I think he isn't really that motivated in Ligue 1.

With Luis Suarez been back it's going to be trouble for Manchester United defense.
Although Manchester United has Ronaldo, who has denied Athletico Madrid Champions on double occasions.
Had a goal against Barcelona already, coming back from a long time injury.
Luis Suarez will not be too dangerous for any club now although in general Luis Suarez has a great track and achievements in the past, but for now it is a little different with the many new players who are more competitive and talented and also considering that Luis Suarez himself is already old. 35 years now

very bad this year, Man United defenders often make mistakes. Therefore, when dealing with Atletico, Man United must improve their defense line
to play more solidly. Atlético will be playing at home for the first leg, so the chances of winning are a bit much bigger than Man United. Actually Atletico's
game has also decreased this season, so this season Atletico have also played less consistently. Therefore, I think the Atletico vs Man United match is
quite difficult to predict, there will be a possibility of the match ending in a draw if both teams play too carefully.

Messi has been playing in the same team all his life in the same formation, so it is difficult for him to adapt. Plus the biggest reason is age. As for problems with language and lack of friends, it sounds doubtful - there are a lot of Spanish-speaking players in PSG and a lot of those whom Messi has known for a long time. I think he will have more problems with socialization if he returns to Argentina than in any European club.

I doubt age is the problem, he played great in spain despite his age. I won't compare him to Ronaldo because it's silly and hackneyed, but I agree about the adaptation. Of course, age is a problem. Last season in Spain, Messi played as badly as he plays now at PSG (at least he was criticized for having frequent "pedestrian" sessions when he played passively and waited for clean balls). And Ronaldo is also subject to age, no matter how sad it may be. Both players are playing worse than they did 3 years ago, there is nothing to deny about that.

it is normal that he is not in shape
they play too many games, quantity is preferred over quality
and the quality of the matches and the show is affected
unfortunately the quantity does not interest me

so I understand the problems facing Messi, it's not his fault

It certainly is.  Every team is great.  PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City are the three biggest candidates.  Every team has the potential to become a champion.  Look at Ajax, how they played great in their group.  You see, Ajax made it to the final.  Anything is possible in the champions league.  Still, my favorites will be PSG and Manchester City.
The teams that qualified for the last 16 are great teams that cannot be underestimated at all, just like benfica, many people suspect that benfica will only end up in the group phase because they are joined with bayern munchen and barcelona, but the evidence is that they were even able to get rid of barcelona to first time in the last 10 years from of the champions league, apart benfica, it looks like ajax will also give a lot of surprises this season in the round of 16, and my opinion bayern münchen and liverpool are strong candidates to win the champions league this season.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City, Paris SG are the most important candidates. This year the Champions League is much more exciting. I agree with you. Teams such as Benfica and Ajax are not shown as favorites, but they can make big surprises. Especially Ajax in the their group matches made 6/6 and collected 18 points. They can also show a successful graphic in the qualifiers. Benfica, on the other hand, created the impression of a team playing well, beating Barça.
No one denies that Benfica or Ajax are strong enough and able to go through one or two stages of the Champions League, but I have very big doubts that these clubs are able to win the Champions League in the end. Anything can happen in football, of course, and we love it for that, but with all due respect to these teams, it's hard for me to imagine that they have enough reserve strength and strength to successfully overcome all the remaining stages of the tournament. The only thing is that during the draw of the subsequent stages, the clear favorites of the entire tournament will face, such as the current pair of Paris Saint Germain against Real Madrid, and Benfica or Ajax, on the contrary, will be lucky with the tournament grid.

It has been quiet for a while but in 1,5 week the Champions League will start again. I am looking forward to the match between PSG and Real Madrid. It may be that Messi is out of shape, but a player like Messi can suddenly play the stars of heaven and make 3. Which I still see happening against Madrid. Messi has already scored many goals against Madrid. It is time for PSG to win the CL with this team.
I can't be expecting Messi not to perform properly in the beginning of the champions league, thats impossible; Psg can't lose to Madrid no matter what except thier stars ain't gonna play in that; the likes of Messi, Neymar, mbappe who is leaving next season.we are expecting something huge this time around from the champions league
