Messi has good goalscoring stats this season in the Champions League where he has scored 5 goals in 5 games so there is a possibility he will score against Real Madrid in the middle of next week for the first leg of the Champions League. Recently he also managed to score his second goal in Ligue 1 as PSG beat Lille 1-5. Of course it's good to maintain confidence and a good performance when playing even though the number of goals this season is very small compared to last season with Barcelona.

I agree with Liverpool's chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals, but to reach the final and win the title I can't believe it will be easy because of course the opponents they will face will not be easy. It all depends on which team they will face in the quarter-finals or finals.

Meanwhile, Inter and Liverpool have equal chances to win the match in the round of 16. Juventus has a chance to win the Champions League title, but it is difficult to compete with other teams. I see other teams have more potential for it, but that should not be used as a benchmark, because in football there are always surprises and miracles.

I think Juventus in the past never depended on a player like Ronaldo, let alone Ronaldo's age who is no longer young for the class of football which makes him not very influential when playing, so it's natural that Juventus lost at that time and no longer has a chance at this point to win unless there is an unforeseen luck factor.

I believe this is good preparation from Juventus ahead of next week's game against Villarreal for the Champions League. The new players played as expected and that gave the coach good confidence in the next games.
