I assume that the most interesting match was Manchester United - Atalanta this week. Because Manchester United were struggling very much before this one and they lost to Leicester by 4-2 last. They needed an immediate victory to be able to gather strength. But Atalanta got 2-0 ahead in the first half already and it ended like that. In the second half, Solskjaer needed to do something to turn the game around. Otherwise, there was another big loss waiting for the team. And we watched a completely different Manchester United in the other half. And they scored their first goal early also. I was still not sure about if they would be able to make a comeback but they made it. Ronaldo scored again here and his goal was very important for the win.

The most surprising result of the week was Ajax's demolishing Dortmund by a huge 4-0 score. I would never expect such result in a game that we see two powerful teams. Dortmund are no less than Ajax when it comes to having really dangerous strikers. And I expected at least two goals from each team here. Ajax did it but Dortmund were surprisingly bad. Haaland played in this game too but even he couldn't do much against Ajax. I didn't understand what was wrong with Dortmund. They won their last game before this one and Haaland scored two goals in it. It was really an interesting game indeed.

Ajax did play extraordinary against Dortmund, Ajax defenders managed to make it difficult for Haaland to score goals. We know Dortmund really depend
on Haaland to score goals, and when Haaland is really heavily guarded, then Dortmund will find it difficult to score goals. And Erik ten Hag's strategy
proved to be working well. Almost all Ajax players played well, teamwork is very solid. If we only look at the results of the match, we will definitely
be surprised, but if we watch the game we will understand why Ajax deserved to win. Ajax's victory made Ajax achieve perfect results
in  the Champions League and became the leader of Group C for a while. Then for Dortmund there is still an opportunity to qualify for the next round,
because Dortmund have only suffered one defeat.

At least I often get unexpected results like this about Dortmund, they seem to have characteristics that can be very drop at certain moments. Just pay attention, if we look at Dortmund's statistics at least we will be able to say if Dortmund can be consistent at least to make some goals. But sometimes they become very drop like getting a big defeat like what happened yesterday against Ajax. I'm sure no one expected the result like that because Dortmund are not a mediocre team but then again, they seem to have uncertain characteristics and are very dangerous because of the results of defeat that they will receive at any time.

I must admit that Manchester United got a really important win as their form is really the worst recently. It was really difficult to make a comeback against a tough opponent like Atalanta. But this win still doesn't prove that Manchester United started playing better. They still don't seem trustworthy for me and Solskjaer is still at a problematic position.

Manchester United are still trying to find the right manager after the glorious era of Alex Ferguson.
Solskjaer apparently isn't the right guy for the job.I don't know who would be the best candidate for a Man Utd manager.Even Jose Mourinho failed miserably as a Manchester United manager(despite winning the Europa league in 2017).
Manchester United have great players and CR7 is helping the team a lot, after his comeback, but something is wrong with them.I'm sure that they can achieve something big in the UEFA Champions League.Maybe at least reaching the semi-finals would be considered a major success.
Ole is a pretty good coach but not for MU Ole's strategy doesn't suit United's game so it will be very difficult to adapt his tactics and style of play.
Many great players are at Manchester United but it can't be maximized well by Ole at the moment.
besides that the rotation he applies sometimes makes blunders and losses for United and this is further exacerbated by the player's trust that is getting less and less towards Ole.

Ole can be a pretty coach because I don't know your bases to determine a good. Good can be someone who is not meeting upto expectations. But where I'm concerned is the strategy. The other time I said Ole doesn't have a strategy, but someone said he has a strategy just that his strategy doesn't work for Manchester United. Please, I want know Ole's strategy, any help? Atleast I have an idea of Klopp's strategy, Guardiola and Tuchel's strategy. Can I know that of Ole?

The second leg match will be very decisive for the sheriff to be able to guarantee qualifying for the next phase, now they have suffered their first defeat from inter milan and I think the sheriff defeat will be repeated later in the second leg match facing Inter Milan, after that, Madrid will definitely avenging their defeat in the first leg, especially now that the performance of the madrid squad has improved and it will make it a tough task for the sheriffs to be able to beat madrid again.
I think the second leg maybe 3 points they will only get when they play shaktar donesk in the last game of the group stage, and it looks like the sheriff luck is over for now.

It is undeniable that Sheriff Tiraspol's level is below Real Madrid and Inter Milan, but what they have achieved now is proof that they are a team that can surprise you. Nothing is impossible in Football. In the next 2 matches, Sheriff Tiraspol will play at home. Well even though the opponents are 2 big teams, but the crowd will be an advantage for Sheriff Tiraspol.

Let's see if it's really just luck or they will make another surprise.
with the last three matches they must get at least 4 points in order to maintain their position at least in the second position in order to advance to the next round.
but it's a pretty difficult road considering that of course Real Madrid and Inter will not just stand still.
and the most likely thing is that when playing against shakhtar they have to try to win the game by a large goal difference because it might be profitable at the end.

It is the first time that a player has won 19 successive Champions League games. Currently, he is the only player in Bayern that has not lost a match after winning the champions league in 2020. Lewandowski is a top player. Nonetheless, the win is a collective effort, so kudos to the team. Consistency is the hallmark of a great player. That is Lewandowski.
Yes he is great but unfortunately, when Lewandowski was injured Bayern Munich seemed unable to do much to win the match. Bayern Munich in the 2021 season yesterday lost and was eliminated in the quarter-finals by PSG, at that time Lewandowski could not be played because of the injury he suffered. Therefore also, I think maybe when Lewandowski is injured again it will be difficult for Bayern to win and that shows whether they have a high dependence on Lewandowski.

They are not winning the champion league, the trophy will be coming to England and it will be between Manchester city, Liverpool or Chelsea. I would not be surprised if the finals turns out to be an all English team final because that is what has been happening of recent. Excluding Manchester united, the premier league teams are dominating their games as well.
Last night the defending champions won comfortably 4-0 and they probably would had scored more assuming their front man was not removed. Liverpool and Manchester city are also having an easy season with wins in the champion league.
Well, what are you insinuating? that the premier league has been currently made in favour of England teams,? What's your point here?
The fact is, if u play well with a good squad, formidable defense and good atackers, what do you think is gonna stop you from winning? Nix!

The ease of achieving results at the present time during the group stage does not mean anything and can be a dangerous phenomenon when it becomes difficult for the team and it gets lost from it, because it is not used to it and is used to that everything turns out and everything gets easy.
Hey, i had much difficulties in understanding your point on these. Can you explain properly please?

If they continue with this form they will not only win the champions League but also the triple,I don't think any team in Europe can compete with them right now, they are playing like the Barcelona of old,I love there energy they just need to continue doing this until the end of the season.

When the time of the group stages ends and it's time for the playoff games, then other factors come into force there. English clubs undoubtedly have an advantage over other teams at this point in time and are likely to have a large representation in the later stages, but still I do not want to repeat the scenario of the previous draw and the English final, but I want representatives of different countries for a change.

I'm sure Real Madrid and Inter Milan will qualify in Group D, but back in the second leg they have to work hard to win.
Most people think the same as you. Since Real Madrid and Inter Milan are the favorites and the stronger clubs in Group D, they probably can optimize the chance to be qualified to the next stage. But they must win all the remaining matches to guarantee they are leading Group D. I assume they have the capacity to win all the remaining matches.

Madrid will definitely win with Shakthar
The Sheriff will surely lose at home to Inter Milan.
Is this your prediction for the upcoming matches?
I am sorry, I think you cannot underestimate Sheriff once they are playing at home.

In the beginning the Sheriff was able to win twice and that was enough for points, only I the Sheriff must be able to survive at least not to lose in the second leg at home, but this is a tough test but Inter Milan will continue to try to attack to win it but in terms of the Inter Milan match will be much more in control and that means it can be Inter's victory even if playing against away.

But this win still doesn't prove that Manchester United started playing better. They still don't seem trustworthy for me and Solskjaer is still at a problematic position.
I second that, and that's something that must indeed be pointed out, though they managed to come back from two goals down and won the game 3-2, they ordinarily should not have been in that position in the first place, it's just so obvious that the team is struggling and many times they need the individual brilliance of a few of their players to rescue and bail them out.

Having said that, the win could be a morale booster, I'm pretty sure the players know they are absolutely not playing to the best of their abilities and they'll definitely want to improve, this win can help them to get going and prolly get a couple of wins in a row, though the bad news is that their next match is against a Liverpool team that is in spectacular form.

Atalanta sold that match out, they should be winning with ease but did not. I can not understand what they were thinking in the second half that they played that badly, not threatening the United post and giving United a reason to play them.  Already we know united to always be good when it comes to comeback so I was expecting them to do the same.

Immediately Atalanta noticed such energy, they should have killed the momentum but tightening the defense, stop attacking instead defend more but they did not, they left the play open and united capitalized on that. United were more dominant in the second half and were lucky to come out victorious from this one.
The manager's approach are different when they are leading. There are teams that are so good at pounding their opponents with relentless attacks scoring lots of goals in the process. Maybe Atalanta thought of the same thing trying to show their dominance to the world since MU is a bigger club than they are. We know now that it didn't pay off but that could made them more popular if they won with more goals.

I don't know if Manchester United would still sack ole after they came back with a fantastic turn around yesterday against atalanta, and again cristiano ronaldo was their hero in the UEFA champions league night, but Manchester United can't be letting those amounts of goals they are conceding In the champions league and in the league I think the have one of the worst defense amongst english premier league top ten teams now.

After winning the Champions League match, Manchester United's management does not seem to be dismissing Ole now. Moreover it takes time to work with new teams and new players. Give Ole some more time, he'll be able to take the team to a better position. However, Manchester United's biggest problem at the moment is that their defense is very weak. The defender is able to perform well while playing well against a weak team, the performance against a strong team is poor.
I think in order to be able to cope with defensive errors and individual mistakes at the back, it’s time for Ole to experiment the 4-4-2 Or toss back to 3-5-2 that worked for him at Molde and his early United days. That defense is giving me headache..especially from set pieces. Thomas Tuchel came and reversed Frank Lampard's 4 defenders to a 3-man defense and since then, he has been winning, scoring and conceding few goals. With the squad Manchester utd have at their disposal, they shouldn't be struggling against  teams like Atalanta.  Once again it took the genius of Ronaldo to save them.

I have to say it was one of the best matches that I saw recently. United making a comeback is not something that I care specifically, like it could have been united going 2-0 ahead and then Atlanta score 3 in a row to make a comeback and I would have this much fun. I am not a united fan because I am not even from UK, but I love a good comeback, it makes the games so much better if you ask me.

This is why I believe that this game was one of the best that I watched in the recent years, it was definitely something I missed a lot because we didn't get these type of comebacks for a while. UCL is where the real deal is and these games show the reason.
