Sheriff Tiraspol have drawn the attention of all people by the results they have gotten so far in their group matches. Who would have thought that they would play this smart and win both of their first two matches? I can get the win against Shakhtar by 2-0 as it was a home match and Shakhtar weren't in a very ideal shape. But the win against Real Madrid even away was just something else. I don't know how but they managed to defeat Real Madrid by 2-1 even though their competitor was completely dominating the match. It was like a miracle for them. I can't wait to watch their next match vs Inter.

Really? Last season, he complained that he needs better defenders to support Maguire. Now he has Varane but the defense is still not improved. When Bruno is tired and can not play well, the creativeness of midfield is lost. Ole relies on Bruno and Pogba for creativeness and can not build up a system can provide good assists for strikers and can not maintain big pressure on opponents.^ Well, we cannot deny that Ole is the best coach we had after Ferguson, because coaches like Mourinho and Van Gaal were abysmal. But I do feel like there is more room more betterment of his tactics. Because, even after getting Varane, we are still shaky defensively and with what we have for the attacking options, we should be scoring more goals. Ole is good, but maybe he isn't using the squad to its fullest potential.

Both team have not yet won a single match in Group C. Its Ajax and Darmund who had the chance to win 2 matches each. Lets see who wins on October 16th. Hope they do not make the game draw. Sporting is better than Besiktas in quality, and they have better player most chance this match will be ended in draw because at home Besiktas is better in few circumstances they can beat sporting but still this is going to be very good competition between two teams those have nothing for next round just fighting for spot in Europa League spot.Ajax Vs Dortmund is fight for top spot in this group both teams are equal in quality but Ajax done very good in first match against sporting, and they also won second match as well but Dortmund done some hard work but still here both teams will fight for their spot and Ajax can win this race because they are some better than Dortmund recently.
Dortmund should be winning against Ajax I'm guessing. Till then Haaland will be back from his injury and although Dortmund played very well without Haaland, and with him in the attacking third, Dortmund is very dangerous. With Bellingham also playing very well, he active or passively made Dortmund score about 80% of their goals this season which is incredible.

Yes it has been incredible to see Leo Messi scoring in the UEFA Champions League against Manchester City at the Parc des Princes last week and finally winning 2-0. Next week PSG will play against Leipzig again at the Parc de Princes, I hope they will be able to achieve the same feat.
Messi managed to deliver a pretty good performance during the PSG vs Man City match on the second matchday of the Champions League group A phase, the 1 goal scored by messi is certainly his first goal in the champions league with PSG this season, I think now messi is starting to understand the style of play PSG and he began to adapt to other PSG players and of course it will make PSG front line more solid and sharp later.I don't think so. Although PSG played great against Manchester City, they lost to weaker Rennes in their next match. The PSG team is not stable yet. The bonds between the players are not strong. Neymar is not in form. There are a lot of problems within the team. PSG will be stronger if Ramos joins the squad. At the same time, the coach should gradually solve the problems.

Usually, when a big team plays against a big team, the big team will play more seriously and carefully, so the result is quite surprising because City are not able to score goals. Although indeed, I don't see Leipzig as a mediocre team, but because their performance so far has not been optimal, it is possible that when against PSG, Leipzig may be more careful and more focused because of the failure in the previous two matches. I personally still can't predict PSG will win easily, because of the recent results PSG also lost easily to a mediocre team and it became a reference for me to avoid betting on PSG matches.It was a surprise yes but not a big one,,, as I said and as all Pep Guardiola fans know, he is a guy who likes to experiment with his huge squad. It is a nice compliment of course to see them play so well every game no matter who they put into the lineup, for example against Liverpool again they tried different things and again without a true striker, Grealish playing with Foden on the left.
And last season they showed as well they have a problem at some days to score goals because they keep using wingers and midfielders only.

Ole has too many great players, but is not able to use them well. Maybe Ole should ask Sir Alex Ferguson for a prescription, he always comes to the stadium when Man United plays. Then for Atalanta, they are a great club. They were able to win 1-0 over Young Boys. But before playing in the UCL they will play Milan and Empoli in Serie A.Atalanta already played against Milan and lost by one goal. As for Ole, he needs to figure out what he's doing wrong otherwise the owners might get tired of the lack of titles and ask questions that might lead to his dismissal. The owners have been understanding so far but I think there's only so much they can take before they look for an alternative. Let's hope Atalanta doesn't win them.

Both Messi and Ronaldo scored in the Champions League. They are both awesome players, Ronaldo has won games in the finals in both international and club competitions on more than one occasion. Messi is the kind of player that runs the game, creates opportunities for others to score and then scores himself. As I am not comparing them, I have just focused on enjoying their game play. When these two legends retire, the football world will lose its magic.

It's like there's no hope for Sporting CP and Besiktas even though it's only been 2 matches. But even so Ajax and Dortmund will meet later, and this is where we will see who the opportunity will come to, Besiktas or Sporting CP.Both Teams (Besiktas & Sporting CP) Have Good Performances in Their Leagues. Give the Barcelona team now to other coaches, they can not help Barcelona to win any title. That club has serious financial health and conflict between players and the board is not small.
This is correct because Barcelona's problem is beyond its debt profile and salaries for players. It's about the dress room conflicts among players and the clique they've formed. Most experienced coaches would have sold off those old and stubborn players immediately Messi left the club. But that is not so as the coach of the side Ronald Koeman is still wasting time on doing what should be the right thing. I wish he gets thrown out of his job.Whatever and however Barcelona might be willing to get past this phase, it's gotta begin with the squad performance and their zeal to fight and that's sadly not happening with Koeman.

Honestly I really want them to go through to the next stage, but their poor performance in the last 2 games make no sense. None of the attackers the team has scored and they have conceded 6 goals. No longer great with the existing composition of players or R. Koeman should be fired? I agree with the second option, but it becomes impossible due to very bad financial condition and it looks like they have to accept the offer of fresh funds from the dubai company this time.
It's sad to see how the high and mighty have fallen over the years. The team has basically fallen apart. Frontline and backslide did very little in that Benfica to aid the team. The way I see it, Koeman isn't even the only problem that Barcelona has to fix. It runs deeper than that. it is very good to make the players apart from getting flying hours on the other hand the reserved core players can also save stamina for important matches.
But Ole's experiment was too forced, and it showed when they lost to Aston Vila.
I think things like this should not be done too often because this is indeed a fatal outcome for the results achieved.
Manchester United have still been getting unsatisfactory results recently. They had a really hard time defeating Villarreal in their last Champions League game. And after that, they played against Everton home in the English Premier League. But they couldn't defeat them and they drew with Everton by 1-1. It was not a good result for them before the national break. They need to work hard and prepare really well for their next game which is in the Champions League and against Atalanta home. They really have a tight and hard schedule in the coming weeks. If they don't start getting satisfactory results, this would be the end of Ole's work here and he would get sacked I think.
