It's sad to see how the high and mighty have fallen over the years. The team has basically fallen apart. Frontline and backslide did very little in that Benfica to aid the team. The way I see it, Koeman isn't even the only problem that Barcelona has to fix. It runs deeper than that. They might not make it out of this group if they don't start winning games from their 3rd group stage match.
example like you said about suarez which does feel like a bad decision. even more so as the case related to griezman which did lead to losses that befell Barcelona.
but I'm still confused by the decision of the management team who are still kind enough to Koeman about this.
and for now, I think the Barcelona formation in play so far is not effective and the tiki taka pattern that has become the hallmark of Barcelona is slowly disappearing.
After the last results, the best teams so far are Liverpool, Ajax and Bayern Munich. They won their matches with very good scores. And the most surprising team were Sheriff Tiraspol. They defeated not only Shakhtar by 2-0 home but also Real Madrid by 2-1 away. It is like they are living their biggest dream in the tournament. I don't know until when they will maintain this dream but we will see.
This is the biggest shock so far that Sheriff is the first in their group not only did they beat Shakhtar they beated Real Madrid and are first in the group.I think no one seen this coming,i have seen some crazy bets with some crazy odds wins on Sheriff against Real Madrid. Give the Barcelona team now to other coaches, they can not help Barcelona to win any title. That club has serious financial health and conflict between players and the board is not small. They have to keep the coach and depend on young players to build up for the future. Young players don't have things to lose and they need real matches to grow up. It is future of Barcelona.
Old players like Pique, Busquet, Alba should be transferred one way or another. They are barriers for the club now but Koeman is not.

This has proven my statement that there is no underdog in champions league. As long as you are playing in Champions league, you are a champion. And a champion can do anything anytime.
That is the beauty of the sport world, if we knew what it will happen before it does and the favorites always won then there will not be any point in watching the games, just run a probabilistic tool to see which is the best team and then whoever comes at the top receives the championship, fortunately for us this is not the case, this is the champions league which means that every single team is good and even if on paper the other team is better they can always be beaten if you play better than them. Sheriff Tiraspol are the new Sheriffs of UCL haha. Who would've imagined that they will be in 1st place with full points after 2 games ? They just made that group so nice to watch but they can still lose the 1st and 2place and finish on 3rd but after I saw how they play ...I do believe they will move further from 2nd place.

Nowadays he is working on his "finishing" as in places he needs to be, his positioning at his age is uncanny and never seen before. Manchester United struggled in their first two group stage games, losing one and managing to win the other, and their next game isn't going to be any different as I can also predict them struggling against Atalanta which is a very attacking team, Manchester United will prolly not win that game and that will mean they will be in a lot of problems, a position that they ordinary should not be in. When the draws were made, it was looking like it is going to be a smooth run for United in the group stage, but they now look like they may end up in a tight position to qualify from the supposed easy group.
