Well, Young Boys are regular participants of group stage. Maybe Sheriff isn't so well known, but they eliminated Dinamo so confident. So, they fully deserved to reach group stage and I think they won't end without points or something similar.

it depends on the group, but I think that Sheriff will finish below 2 points in the group, all lost match a side, and one/two draws at home, without a win
nevertheless, there is a possibility for a really weak group - Lille, Villarreal, Sporting are in Pot 1, Pot 2 is probably the strongest, Pot 3 - almost all teams are equal strength, and one would like to skip Milan from Pot 4

five teams from Spain, and interesting Portugal has three teams, France two

Monaco got knocked out pretty funny with that own goal from 16meters its just too funny. Probobly unluckiest goal this season by any team. Also Dinamo wasnt able to score 1 goal in 2 matches that is really shocking.Sheriff for the first time in history went to the group stage

Now this is the real Monaco!

Shakhtar won though, it was a really close one.

Shakhtar eliminated Monaco. Monaco were playing their best football this season, but after they made score 2:0, they kinda relaxed and Shakhtar got chance.

Not really though, Shakhtar kept on pressuring on the 2nd half and it was quite a rough game because Monaco know that they need to stop Shakhtar from scoring but they couldnt do it . There were total of 7 yellow cards in the normal time and another 4 in the extra time, I was expecting either of these teams to receive a red card because it would make the match a abit more interesting.

Well, Young Boys are regular participants of group stage.

Young Boys never miss any of the Champions League starting from 2015/2016 until this season. Thats quite a great feat though for a team like Young Boys

For the first time we will have team from Moldova in group stage. Great achievement.
And Salzburg simply finished their job.
I can't believe that teams like Sheriff Tiraspol and Young Boys managed to get into Champions League, and they are going to easy pray for any normal European club in group stages.

If you can't beat teams like this at your home stadium, and if you lost away from home than you don't deserve to qualify to next stage.
Shakhtar Donetsk just scored goal in extra time and they are near of kicking off Monaco, or maybe it was a self kick with a own goal.

Failing to win vs 10 players for almost 60 minutes in your home is so frustrating for Eindhoven fans.. Malmo passed thanks to the goal scored in this match and it is funny to see Young Boys results the same as in the home game with an inverted red card, mirror force Tongue
For Wednesday games, Salzburg and Dinamo should pass too, but I think the most interesting match will be between Shakhtar and Monaco.
Dinamo has a really difficult task today, I personally feel their chances are slim. They are a better team on paper but they lost the 1st game 3-0, and more importantly they played really bad. I'm not sure how much they can improve in such a short period of time, Sheriff defended them without much problems a week ago.

Dinamo is lucky that they scrapped the away goal rule, with that active I'd say they have no chance of progressing. In an open game like this I expect Sheriff to score so I'll be going for both BTTS and over 3,5 goals bets.
Meh, I was waiting to see Dinamo scoring 2 goals in the first half and reduce that ridiculous gap, they are dominating but failed to score until now, second half started and their chances are dropping... It is unfortunate for them to leave like that Undecided
Salzburg is now 3 goals difference in aggregate so theoretically are safe.
Monaco in the other hand made a surprise turn and they are now leading with 1 goal difference (aggregate)

So to recap my bet for tonight is Salzburg,Dinamo and Shakhatar to win their games,or to low the risk Shakhtar win or draw.

Dinamo can even win, but I think it will be difficult to win the tie. To achieve this I had to score 4 goals.
I believe the Sheriff will not make it that easy.

Salzburg are already 2-0 goals up very early into game already, within 10 minutes they've already scored two goals, and it's all settled in this fixture I guess.

Monaco have also turned their fixture around, leading by two goals against Shakhtar Donestk.

Now this is the real Monaco! They are absolutely dominating the rematch against Shakhtar right now. And they are 1-0 ahead as Ben Yedder scored in the 18th minute. If they keep this performance up until the end of the game, it shouldn't be so hard for them to eliminate Shakhtar by winning with at least 2-goal difference I think.

Very strong opening phase from RedBull Salzburg as well as from Monaco. So I dare to say that Salzburg and Dinamo are further ahead. Monaco vs. Donetzk will be a very interesting and exciting game.

But in Denmark you can already see a full stadium with a very good atmosphere and the Danes don't give up and still play with full commitment even if the chances are already very small. Respect

Shakhtar play at home and could beat Monaco away... I don't think they will let themselves be beaten easily! Especially if Shakhtar can score a goal, it will be very difficult for Monaco to go on... Moreover, judging from their latest games they cannot get into the Champions League... They play horribly!
Well, I wouldn't say that this is a home game ... since their real home stadium is Donbass Arena, a stadium that cost the club $ 400 million. Unfortunately, after the start of civil clashes in 2014, the club relocated to Kiev, where to this day it rents the stadium from the owners (Dynamo Kiev). I mean that Shakhtar does not have tangible support from fans in Kiev, and 70% of their roster have never played at their real home stadium. So there is no point in assuming that today Shakhtar have a home advantage over Monaco, because this is not so ... but I believe that Shakhtar will win today anyway.

That's correct, Shaktar can play for years at there home Stadion at the East Ukraine are war.

It's so sad that Shakhtar can't play in Donetsk for long time already. But in current conditions, Kyiv is their home and it's not like to play in neutral pitch. But still, for me it was strange that they moved from Kharkiv to Kyiv. In Kyiv they're most hated club, while in Kharkiv they were getting not bad support.
And it's a bit strange that Monaco are favorites by bookmakers today, considering recent Monaco results. My pick for today is Monaco under 1.5 @1.75.

In other game I expect Dinamo Zagreb to win, but it won't be enough to reach next round.
In Brondby - Salzburg game I pick away win and over 2.5 goals.

same thinking, they should fight for CL group stage tonight, and I expect goals
they are scoreless for three matches, and that should break sometimes, tonight can be that moment, Shakhtar is a good team, but Monaco as well, so anything is possible

interesting enough, Monaco is still good to qualify, and I would put "Monaco to qualify" prior to "Monaco to win" it is @3, win is @2.3, and I think that if Monaco win, they will hardly fail to qualify
Shakhtar is a very good team, do not underestimate them and they are in good shape, there are goals scored in every match. As for Monaco, the situation is completely opposite, they are losing the last games and can't score a single goal. of course all series will end sooner or later, perhaps we will see Monaco score a goal today, but I am also sure that Shakhtar will score at least one goal too. And who will go further in the Champions League qualification, we will see soon.

From today games I expect Shakhtar and Dinamo Zagreb to win their games,it will be difficult for Dinamo Zagreb to qualify tonight as they screw up pretty badly last week in Moldova when they lost 3-0 to Sheriff Tiraspol and this kind of result is not easy to overcome but I think they should manage to win at home tonight.

Brondby has all history against them, they never managed to qualify in European event when they lost the first leg which they did against Salzburg although in the last minute of the game.Beside that they have a lot of players with Covid 19 which was the cause for them to start their title defending in Denmark with 4 draws and 2 lost games.

So to recap my bet for tonight is Salzburg,Dinamo and Shakhatar to win their games,or to low the risk Shakhtar win or draw.

@casper @morvillz @3meek yeah I ended up taking your bets as well actually, Monaco to qualify at 3/1, parlayed that with another game in England (Saints haha) and then also Salzburg with the over 1.5 goals, also popped into a parlay to sweeten the deal. I generally don't like these tight odds, but yeah, as a great value leg for accas, why not?

Now Monaco 24/10 looks good value and yes, I know, they've been off to an incredibly crappy start to the season but they'll want to salvage the season with at least UCL group stage football right?

Salzburg to win + D.Zagreb over 1.5 total goals @2.46 X

I can't believe oddsmakers have Salzburg at around 1.60 given how lopsided the game in Austria was, with Salzburg having 29 goal attempts to Brondby's 2.

Dinamo Zagreb still has a chance to qualify for the group stages, so i wouldn't write them off just yet, but it will be difficult against a really good team with so much pace up front.
