englands coach Gareth Southgate has now announced its final squad for the tournament today
So, Alexander-Arnold making the list after all. England taking 4 rightbacks (TAA, James, Walker, Trippier) - a bit bizarre.
Walker is an option for CB position if they go with 3 at the back - I assume James is as well. But then it makes no sense to take both Coady and Mings.
England is really weak in the middle - if Henderson won't recover in time they will be in serious trouble.
Truth be told, I am not afraid of facing this England squad. Granted first eleven looks good but I can't belive there was not better options for the bench. Did not expect to see names like Mings and Coady in the team.
Who is the first keeper? Pickford I guess according to jersey numbers. Henderson is by far the best for me but unfortunately he is not first choice in United and therefore probably not the first choice here.
Should be Pickford. But Henderson was first choice for United at the end of the season, De Gea was playing in Europe and in cups.
I'm even afraid of Scotland and Czech Republic, let alone England. We will be horrible in this Euro.
Actually I think If the England team does not win titles with this squad, we can say that the coming years will be very difficult for him.
Technically, the English have one of the best names in the world, and since the group is the basis, this matter remains in the hands of the coach and the extent to which he can exploit the wealth he has.
Heavy names in most positions, and very amazing alternatives that can upset a college match. And any opponent must make calculations to face England, unless the coach has another opinion and makes this team pass aside like past years.
