UEFA nations league, EURO, World Cup qualifying matches, friendly matches are inflated and the Covid-19 forces players have to play many matches in shorter period. It only damages their fitness and potentially cause injuries. Also it can reduce the general quality of EURO 2021 matches. Players can not contribute their best if their bodies and physical fitness are bad.
That is the point. The current situation can make teams that do not have players in large teams, have less physical wear and tear. This could create major delays during the tournament.

I totally agree and I am very happy the scrapped the friendlies and just played proper matches. Then we do not see 2nd or 3rd teams who have no chance at the real stage playing.
Maybe they should consider just making this format more permanent and just take away friendlies for the sake of friendlies? Or at least make the calendars more in sync with each other.

I agree! I think that will change a lot in football.

If I'm not mistaken, EURO 2021 not starting yet. I'm still confusing when reading the post above because people talking about the world cup 2022 qualification in UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread, is this related?,
The mistake could be the fact that most of the euro 2021 nations also play for the world cup qualifiers which means that you could find some correlation between them. For example that guy talked about how Turkey managed to beat 2 big names, Norway and Netherlands and they managed to beat them fairly easily as well so it was a no question game from them and that means when they come to euro 2021 as well that is going to be a lot easier for them as well.So, we are basically talking about teams who are playing on world cup qualifiers and how they play and if they are playing that well right now for those games, that means maybe they will be good for the euro 2021 as well? Who knows? That's why there is a connection between the two, after all we are talking about something we are going to play few months later and these teams are playing with that roster right now as well.
