I am also surprised that we saw that many goals. Before the tournament started i thought that the current playstyle of football has changed from doing extremely high offensive pressing, which is of course also a very dangerous and risky thing to do because every mistake you make will generate a big opportunity for the opponent, to a more defensive playstyle where teams are not risking that much anymore. France managed to win the World Cup in 2018 with this kind of football, so i thought more teams would follow their example. To make this strategy work you also need the right players of course and France has probably the best player for that with Mbappe because he is just so insanely fast.
Italy played a more dominant football again in this tournament which was also great to watch as a spectator therefore i am very happy that they won the cup.

Although it is a good idea, it will not happen imo. Copa America schedule was random but was fixed to be played along with EURO every 4 years so next time it is EURO 2024 & Copa America 2024 which could be a one step away from making this super cup happening but what about other competitions? Asian, African... I doubt FIFA will allow such thing to happen without risking others to suggest side events (ESL and such...)

spain and italy are most strong team of this european cup, spain (in my opinion) is more strong of italy, good ball possession, good use of ball and pressing

the only big problem, dont have good attackers for finalize good job of entire team

Italy and Arghentina have some correlations, in their anthropology and football. Many people in Arghentina have origins from Italy and many great players in Italy come from Arghentina. Recently Lautaro Martinez in Inter Milan and Paolo Dybala in Juventus.

Messi and Arghentina won their first title for that nation after many decade and it is sadly that Maradona would have not managed to see this moment. He would have been very happy if he did witnessed the moment Messi lift the Coppa America cup.

Maradona is a legend in Arghentina and Napoli.

Well, congratulations to Italy who managed to equalize at 1-1 until it was finally decided on a penalty shootout which was a concern for me, because with a penalty shootout of course Italy was better. I predict the game will end in normal time maybe with the score 1-0 or 2-1 but yes, Italy can really play well by keeping control of the game and getting very good ball possession. You are right. Although Ronaldo and Schick have the same number of goals, they are different on assists. It is surely no a crazy rule, to determine who deserves to be the top scorer, it will be analyzed from the contribution as an attacker. For me, it is a wise decision to count the number of assist as one of the assessment points.

Well I suppose Italy were on a 33 unbeaten match streak so they were not in the final
by chance, they carried that winning mentality into the final, got themselves level
after going 1 down and got the win.

I dont think Mancini will have too much trouble motivating the team for the upcoming
World Cup Campaign, definitely a team to watch.....and make Satoshi's with too!

Yes, I also don't understand why some find this question so strange? Denmark was eliminated in the semi-final because of a questionable penalty against England. England didn't score in the final after going 1-0 up in the first half.
I don't see Denmark winning against Italy either. But they wouldn't have been that much worse than England.

Football is not my favorite sport, but I can understand your feelings. I never watch club football. The only instances when I watch football is when the national teams play in competitions such as World Cup, World Cup Qualifiers, Copa America and Euro Cup. And the beauty with these competitions is that they occur only once in 4 years or so. Unlike the case with club football, there will be major changes in the team composition and fortunes from one edition to the other. Also, I find it hard to support clubs based in foreign cities such as Manchester and Madrid. Supporting other countries is not that hard.

Italy and England have reached the final with a great performance from the first match of the group stage. In the knock-out round, they defeated strong teams like Belgium and Spain. They are worthy contenders for the cup. However, we enjoyed a great final match. Both the teams have performed very well. However, all the matches in the knock-out round of the Euro this time were exciting.
