It's actually difficult to predict who is going to be the winner in the match between Ajax and Union Berlin. But I will bet on union Berlin to win the match because of their past result so far this season. They have a winning record against strong sides like Braga, Monchengladbach, Bayern Munich, Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Borussia Dortmund, and many other stronger sides in Europe. But Ajax on the other hand does not have much winning record in strong matches this year. Perhaps they would be a difference this time.

Barcelona's Europa League match against Manchester United is still so long ago and in that match Barcelona hosted the first leg, so I'm not really worried about that. Surely Xavi will evaluate all the players and performance during this season, plus Barcelona still have about 1 month more to prepare against the red devil squad. So I think Lewandowski will still be the first choice in attack and I think Man United must prepare everything for this match.

Xavi was also getting bad result last year once frankfurt has been kicking out barcelona from europa league. I think that it doesn't matter how many great players in your team as long as the team has bad team worker and that's going to have the same result as last year. I'm not a fan of The Red Devils. however, referring to what you said. I believe the club's internal problems have passed, after Ronaldo's departure from Old Trafford. Currently, Ten Hag has brought United on the right track compared to previous coaches after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

I agree that United are still a long way from getting close to the Europa League final. however, at least they still have the same opportunity as the other teams competing in this championship. some other rumors about reports that Manchester United will be sold, I'm sure if this happens and is acquired by another company or billionaire, Manchester United will soon return to its prime.

This is first time for Union Berlin qualified to play off match because before this season Union Berlin only can able to play at conference league last season and they were failed to qualified at that time because only finish at 3rd place on standings group and obviously Ajax is the favourite considering they have more experience to playing at europeaan competitions more than Union Berlin

yeah, i feel it about how difficult for me to pick which team that will be used to bet on it but it seems like that there will be a lot of changes gonna happen before february as the clubs like MU and barcelona have been aiming to sign so many new players in january. The last season was really unpredictable just like mostly of people were betting on barcelona but frankfurt was defeating it. The same situation may happen again. i don't put so much hope for the clubs with big name in the europa league caused by any team have same chances to win the trophy. Ajax vs Berlin gonna be a very interesting match too. I would believe if there will be many surprises to come in february along with ucl.

Well, personally I think that this time the Europa League will be very exciting, it is obvious that some of the teams are quite well armed, but all the attention will be on Barcelona, which is the team that promises the most, just like Man United In general, these teams are giving a lot to talk about, Man United is the one that intrigues me the most because after what happened with CR7 it is very likely that there will be a lot of controversies, some players want to leave because the They did very well in the World Cup, especially the players from Portugal who have a lot of participation in the team. I agree that everyone has the same proximity to the Europa league title. But they are certain things that promote the proximity of one team over that of the other team. Manchester United for instance are currently facing internal drama as stated by maju69, and this challenge is currently giving Ten hag a tough time on how to choose his standard first Eleven team. All may affect Manchester united performance in the subsequent European league and the England EPL matches. Secondly,  Eric Hag is yet to find a befitting Tactic for the current squad he is using. The ones he managed to win are all trial patterns, not team-owned tactics. I pray before then he has tactics that will be best to play against Barcelona.

I dunno why a player like lewandoski should be signed to FCB; the man is  aged and should be thinking of enjoying retirement right from his stay in Bayern ... How long do you think he's got to play?? That's economic waste, believe me. Plus, he's need to be given some time to adjust to the Spanish system and game play -- which is the reason he's not really performing as expected -- that while could even take a whole season. Isn't that exactly what happened in LEO's case?? When he was moved to the french league, it became almost impossible for him to score a goal until became familiarized. Also the next games they are going to play will be Espanyol, ATM, Betis, Getafe and some Spanish cup thing in between. So even if it was "any 3 next games including europa" for example, which it is not like you said, they would still not play United in the next 3 games at all, they will play like 9 games before they play against United, their game will be 16th of February which is a long way out.

I feel like the team could change so much until then, not only Lewandowski will come back and hopefully could stay healthy, but we are talking about maybe some transfers during winter break as well and that could be quite amazing for them. Maybe even build a better team.

Actually I can't say that Barcelona are perfect now either. Because they have had serious problems in big matches as we all know very well from the ones they have played so far. Lewandowski was very ineffective as well in those matches but the team performance was also bad. It didn't change no matter in what tournament they played. I don't see United nowhere near the finals of Europa League this season and I also don't see them reaching semi-finals either. Why ? I thought it was obvious that the reasoning about experience is a joke (if you are serious, then Barcelona, by the way, has a lot of young inexperienced players compared to United).
As for historical patterns, I don't believe they matter. I only look at the current season and this season Barcelona looks frankly weak in the big games.
In general, you can expect any result, but for me, United is the favorite.

Xavi said that his squad could return to action without injured players, it's just that there was one obstacle, namely the absence of Lewandowski who had a red card suspension in his Domestic League. As for Manchester United, I don't think it matters if Cody Gakpo prefers Liverpool in the end. even on several occasions when Jurgen Klopp was interviewed, regarding Gakpo. he said, that Gakpo will still play as a winger. However, it can also be rotated depending on the needs of the team when they are going to play the match.

Well, so I don't think Cody Gakpo is the only right player for United to sign. what they need is a pure striker, which is why Ten Hag was hesitant to sign Cody Gakpo in the end.
