I don't expect Barcelona to fail again this season in the Europa League even though its journey to qualifying for the last 16 is never easy. Beating Manchester United was a tough task, I never thought it would be easy but this season Barcelona and their players seem more experienced than ever.

Even I don't think Barcelona's failure in the Champions League this season hurts too much, that's because I recognize the superiority of Bayern Munich and Inter in the group stages. But after that failure, I think Barcelona are looking stronger now and they have to do something in the Europa League. I believe in their ability and in their players, so there is hope to win and qualify even if it means against Manchester United.

I am a Barcelona fan. However, that doesn't mean I have to say they will win their match easily in the playoffs against United. as I said in many of my posts, there are many problems that occur in the Barcelona camp even though they are currently at the top of the La Liga standings. the problem is, I don't see chemistry and strong bonding between their players. plus, several players who were injured. one of them is, Ronald Araujo, who became a core player in defense.

I don't doubt Barcelona's young midfielders, but their talent and experience need to be dug deeper so that their game is more established and very creative. As for the wing, I like Dembele but sometimes he takes too long to dribble and he rarely helps the defense when the opposing team is attacking. Raphinha, this one player is good at the domestic league level but he is often too hasty and loses his performance when playing against tougher opponents.

On the other hand, it looks like we have to look at Manchester now and not Manchester United at the start of the season. I see their current game is more focused with a pattern of play that is already on the right track. once again I say, United's problem is on their front lines. United need a sharp pure sticker, and maybe in January Ten Hag will bring in some players who have good quality for their attack line. so, this match will be difficult for us to predict for now. at least, we will see these two teams play at the domestic level.

Even if all those players with injuries were back to play and maybe they will recover until the encounter it would make no difference.This year Barcelona is in top form compared to Manchester United which has not been consistent at all nor in the Premier League and nor in Europa League,they even had a lost game at home against Real Sociedad which is a much weaker team compared to Barcelona.Anything can happen because we are playing a 2 match elimination style in this phase of the competition and any team can bring up 2 good games but overall in normal circumstances it should be Barcelona that will go through.

Presently, I don't think Manchester United will be able to face Barcelona. they have succeeded in winning 3 matches only out of 7 and that's a prove of their weakness. Manchester United in their best form doesn't always find it easy to defeat Barcelona not to talk more now that their first-team players like Sancho, Varane, Martinez, and Maguire, are out due to injury. though FC Barcelona also has injured players, I think their second option is up to the tax than I view from Manchester United's side.

I saw that barcelona will not face any problem even though barcelona will be playing the game without lewandowski as its main striker. Barcelona has some players that are ready to be played in the starting line up. Is not it good for another player like depay to show if he still has potential for barcelona? i saw that as an opportunity for him although lewandowski was top scorer in la liga but it doesn't mean if depay was bad. It will be affecting the performance from barcelona as sometimes lewandowski was able to helping the club like saving barcelona when it was losing a few goals and made the match become draw. Lewandowski will absent for three matches which can be considered as a lot of matches.

It wasn't such a bad idea to try to build a fresh team to play with good team work without relying on Messi to carry the team. Indeed Barcelona's biggest flop this season was getting eliminated from the champions league, good thing they have another chance in the Europa league to rewrite the wrongs this season. If they can win the Europa league it could erase their failure in the champions league from the minds of the public.

Manchester United and Barcelona are not different. How do you consider a club at second position in La Liga is weaker than a club at a fifth position in Premier League. If you don't consider Barcelona are stronger than Manchester United, you should consider them are at a same.

Chance to win for them is 50 - 50 for both clubs and I am exciting to see their matches in Europa League. In history, they met each other sometimes in Champions League and usually Barcelona did not bring happiness to Manchester United except a match United won with a long distant shot from Paul Scholes.

United even can lose when they met smaller teams than Frankfurt. About performance stability, both Barcelona and Manchester United are very bad in recent seasons.

Even when manchester united was not in a good shape and i think that manchester has a big chance to win the game. Manchester united is slowly moving up again. The perfomance is not yet reached its best performance but i think that if the current performance from MU was equal to the barcelona. I will not even try to underestimate manchester united for now caused by it can make barcelona going back anytime. that reminds me when people were picking barcelona over frankfurt and did you know that barcelona lose against frankfurt?
that's the story of last year but that's still worthy to take some lessons if any team in europa league was also very strong at this moment too.

I think a lot of players are avoiding Man utd with all the drama about them, and Ronaldo talking sh** about their management and owners, I don't think they can get a decent player in the transfer market, Gakpo who was one of their main goals to get is going to sign for Liverpool, they have to fight with the players they have now, and it won't be hard for them, I actually think they have what it takes to win Europa League, Barcelona aren't looking that good as well.

no one wants to lose before the match and will give their best game and this is definitely a very interesting spectacle and don't miss this fight.
agree that matches in the domestic league certainly play a role in how far they are prepared for matches in other matches, so barcelona can provide this illustration. barcelona will be able to give the same best game when they play in the domestic league, although it is not as easy as one might expect when they have to face a club like MU.
Once again, looking at several factors, Barcelona has greatly benefited and whether this opportunity can be used when it is available.

I will judge the quality of the team from their slick performance in the domestic league because that is one of the factors the team will be stronger when they face important matches. between barcelona and manchester united i think these two teams have the same opportunity but on the one hand we will see the line up of the two teams before the game starts. hope that no players are injured before this match starts because both of these teams have the same ambition to win. Maybe for the second factor we have to see that this match will belong to the hosts where the first leg of the last 16 will be held at the Camp Nou stadium, of course Barcelona has a bigger chance to put pressure on the visitors in that match .

This game is unpredictable,  I feel anything can happen.  Despite Manchester united are not in a good shape, they are still trying to get improve. Manchester United with their current quality of performance they are capable in challenging Barcelona.  This is a game anything of the team can luckily win.

That's right both teams are very unpredictable, maybe we will see a surprise from Manchester United, in the winter transfer window this club can found a target player of Ten Hag. But for Frenkie de Jong it seems that Barcelona will not be released him to Mancester United with reason for get this tittle UEFA Europa league, if Barcelona is not successful this will be the second bad of drama for Xavi.

For the playoff match between Barcelona and Manchester United, I think the two teams will be difficult to predict. Ten Hag also managed to find good direction at Manchester United, while Xavi also found it at Barcelona. I'm not looking down on Manchester United and all the players, but I tend to think that Barcelona are more favorites in the Europa League than Manchester United.

Anything is still very likely to happen to both teams, they have to be prepared, but fundamentally Manchester United have certainly lost one of the best players from their squad. I wouldn't think winning either of these teams would be easy, both would be difficult although I think Barcelona are more likely to prove their quality.

Two big champions league clubs who have had a tough time in some years now and unfortunately have to face each other in the Europa league and not in the champions league. For many people the both of them may have the same chances of qualifying, but i feel manchester united will beat barcelona, i think amongst the two teams they are the one in a better position and form at the moment, Erik ten hag is doing very well in his new team and the Europa league is one of the trophies he may win. Manchester united started the season in the Europa league so they will play better than barcelona who started in the champions league and were hurt and disappointed to be eliminated from the champions league down to the Europa league, surely it will affect their performance against manchester united.

Barcelona are trying to improve the foundation step by step, they have almost finished a good job after getting some new workers in the transfer market yesterday. Barcelona's biggest failure this season has been elimination from the Champions League, while in the Europa League they haven't been able to fully pamper their feet due to a big ordeal from Manchester United.

If for example Barcelona is able to beat Manchester United, Barcelona chances are still not fully open. There are still other challenges that will await Xavi's troops in the next round. The strength of the foundation must be increased immediately before the storm comes, Xavi must immediately find a good strategy to fend off one by one the storms that will approach them.

Barcelona is just a few points ahead of their rival; real Madrid .with that their probability of winning the la Liga title is quite narrowed. Considering their proximity to winning the Europa league, u quite can't tell that they will be able to conquer the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, and others. Barcelona is currently having a defensive challenge, which is more like a house with a shaking foundation, and up till now they haven't made any step toward fixing it, instead, they keep adding aging players to the defensive line, which is quite unhealthy to the tax ahead.

Their main striker which is Lewandowski will be absent in their coming match. Lewandowski has been generating goals for Barcelona this season,  his absence may cause Barcelona to drop in performance.

well, manchester united is a very inconsistent team that is going through bad times, in a short time they had many coaches, they also had problems with cristiano ronaldo and in terms of team performance it is not a good performance when they play against big teams , they are not competing to become premier league champions, in fact they don't have any chance of becoming premier league champions, so when you look at that scenario you realize that manchester united is not a great opponent in which the barcelona need to struggle to win

on the other side we have barcelona who also recently changed coaches, dismissed several good players and this made the team completely unbalanced and lost the good form they had to play, however the club management managed to hire xavi who is restructuring the team and you can't expect great results right away, this is a long process, but in terms of quality barcelona is far superior to manchester united, so i believe barcelona will win this game against manchester united

Ajax may not be because they have been pulled apart by other European teams who have bought their players already, and what is remaining is not the best players from last year neither, so they are at a rebuilding stage but they are Ajax, famous for finding great players so they should be fine but not as good as winning europa if you ask me.

On the other hand Barcelona and United matchup means one of them will not win for sure, that's guaranteed, so whoever wins that will have the biggest chance or at least best odds to win the whole cup. Other teams such as Arsenal or Juventus will have a good chance to win it as well if they play their cards right.
