But in my personal opinion Leverkusen is different from Napoli. They even started the season with lesser-known players. Honestly, I think Xabi Alonso is a genius coach because he managed to make a mediocre team into one of the best teams in European history. I'm not sure they will be able to repeat the unbeaten record they made this season. But I believe Leverkusen still has a chance to win the Bundesliga title again next season.

I think I also see Leverkusen with same lenses. I as much as they continue to maintain the same tempo as they do with Xabi Alonso remaining their genius coach, they will definitely go far even in the next season. Maybe Leverkusen may not be able to repeat the same unbeaten streak like they did this season but they will still go far next season and I so much belive that they can still take the Bundesliga league with this current performance. Xabi Alonso is a team builder and have a fairly strong scouting skills. Something you can relate with Pep Guardiola's performance effects.

This is the same as what happened with Napoli in the 2023/2024 season. In the previous season they appeared very impressive and managed to win the Serie A title. Everyone thought they would dominate Serie A again in the following season. Or at least become a title contender. But what happened was that this season they performed poorly and only managed to finish in 10th position in the standings.

But in my personal opinion Leverkusen is different from Napoli. They even started the season with lesser-known players. Honestly, I think Xabi Alonso is a genius coach because he managed to make a mediocre team into one of the best teams in European history. People are hyped about Xabi Alonso and what he's doing at Leverkusen. The guy is a technical genius who can make a group of good players play attacking football beautifully. And yes, two straight Bundesliga titles? They can reach it

But this whole "double trophy" dream isn't likely, especially with the UCL.  The Bundesliga could be their backyard, but the Champions League? It is very different. It's where Europe's monsters hang out, and if you're not ready, they'll eat you alive

Truth be told Xabi Alonso was actually what Bayern Leverkusen needed because we can see how he was able to revived the club within a short while, perhaps that is why he is being hyped but however from next season we will actually know what the faith of Bayern Leverkusen will be, though considering there performance this season I believe they stand a chance to perform well but however I have actually come to realize that most times a club will be very impressive in a certain season but the moment they enter the next season they started performing bad, that's why I believe that from there first match next season we will surely know if they are still good or not.

Now everyone's dream is to be like Bayer Leverkusen. It's not easy because Xabi has worked hard to bring the players and the team together. In Leverkusen, the players know very well what each other can do. They now know where to run, when to shoot, when to defend. Team chemistry is compatible with each other. They may be successful in Germany next year, but I agree with what you said about UCL. There are very strong teams and they may struggle even in groups
Xabi Alonso has built the club in such a way that it will return to fierce competition next season. The players have been given motivation from Xabi Alonso so that their mentality does not shrink when playing in the Champions League even though the Champions League consists of several top clubs, Leverkusen has become a top club. over last season because they could beat Bayern Munich but that doesn't guarantee they can beat clubs like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan. They have quite good experience in the Champions League and have become regulars clubs in this big competition, which is very different from Leverkusen, so it is not an easy task for Xabi Alonso to create tactics to beat these clubs. I doubt Leverkusen can beat them because Leverkusen also don't have the players stars like those of these big clubs. But in the Bundesliga, I don't doubt that, I think Leverkusen can compete again in the title race because their main competitors Bayern Munich and Dortmund, have a new coach whose performance will most likely be different, maybe it will be worse than last season because their new coach looks unconvincing.

Xabi will surely make early efforts to prepare the team for the UCL. UCL is a tough league and it is not like UEL. They won the European league last year and mathematically they have a chance of winning the UCL this year. In this case, the players should be both more physically durable and mentally more confident that they can achieve this in UCL matches. Xabi, steps must be taken on these two issues.
Xabi Alonso, who completed an extraordinary season last season in the Bundesliga, can indeed be expected to continue to produce another extraordinary season next season. Last season Leverkusen only failed in the European League final. But still, next season Leverkusen with Xabi Alonso will have a better chance by competing in the UCL. And I also hope that Leverkusen will be able to achieve good results there next season. But yes, more careful preparation is needed. Because more difficult challenges will certainly await Xabi Alonso's team. The UCL is much more difficult than the Europa League. And apart from that, they certainly also want to maintain their title in the Bundesliga. but Bayern Munich will definitely try to stop Leverkusen. So next season might be a more challenging journey for Leverkusen.

Establishment of identity is something I think Leverkusen has done already by virtue of their performance in the last season that got most persons really surprised in the fact that they were able to achieve that much when they were even not rated as a big tea or even a team that is somewhere close to been seen as a big team, this season Al they will have to so is to maintain a statue co or possibly improve in getting to bigger height if possible as that is the best way for them to be able to achieve as much as possible.
In my opinion, one season still cannot mean that they can be said to have a playing identity, because it is only one season while the competition will continue every season, so they need a long time to emerge their true identity. Moreover, they have just tasted the Bundesliga title for the first time, so in my opinion we still have to see how they do next.
Maybe if the teams we are talking about are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and teams that are used to winning titles then we can say they already have an identity. In fact, in my opinion, now they are in the process of getting this, and whether they succeed or not, only they themselves can do it.
But at least we have seen Leverkusen in very good condition now under the coaching of Xabi Alonso. Now their task is to maintain the consistency of play they have shown this season. It's not an easy thing, but I think they can do it.
They have all it takes for them to continue the way they played last season. They have very good players at that team, and I am happy for a man like Xabi Alonso, who have taking it upon himself to make sure he pushes Leverkusen to a greater heights. If they can maintain the kind of consistency they maintained last season, then I'm quite sure they can go on to lift the trophy twice, and not only that, they will looking forward to adding an European trophy to the list next season.Just can't wait to see them play in the Champions league next season.

Its all dreaming by UEFA Europe League teams participants for next season keep unbeaten until reach to the final round, I think compensation reward from UEFA when reaching higher round without unbeaten will more excited make all participants keep unbeaten all Europe league matches. One interested from Bayern Leverkusen performance in Europe League keep consistent and focus until the last minutes although several matches had conceded early and taken few minutes left for scoring goals.
I don't think easily following by the other team when position conceded and left few minutes, difficult for scoring goals but Leverkusen make its easily make huge pressure and success winning the match at the few minutes before match ended. Considering the UEFA Europe League teams participants next season, which one teams has potential following Bayern Leverkusen keep unbeaten although had loss in the final match.

The Champions League is a league that is very different from the European League when viewed in terms of caste and level of competition so the same thing will probably never happen to Leverkusen even though there are many people who believe in Leverkusen's consistency for next season. And I'm just sure that Leverkusen will only be able to take another trophy in the Bundesliga and also in other competitions in Germany, but for the Champions League trophy I still think Leverkusen will probably have difficulty getting it straight away next season.
While still respecting Leverkusen and especially Xabi Alonso, their historic journey last season most likely cannot be repeated in the Champions League, there is a chance they can do it in the Bundesliga due to the change in managers of Bayern Munich and Dortmound. There are a number of favorite teams in the Champions League, Real Madrid and Manchester City are currently at the top of the list, it seems that Leverkusen cannot do much in front of them. Surprises are possible, but logically Leverkusen chances in the Champions League are very low, I think their best chance is in the Bundesliga. Meanwhile, it is possible that next season will be Xabi Alonso last season with Leverkusen, their successful journey last season has entertained everyone and become an inspiration for other mediocre clubs.

Of course it is always difficult for clubs from Europa League coming to UCL to dominate the league. They hardly cope in the group stage so I am not expecting much from Leverkusen in the Champions League next season. However, they might surprise the world and go far who knows, after all nobody saw them winning the league unbeaten.

Atalanta is also another club that I feel will not go far but we should still expect to see them in their best performance to enable them qualify from the group stage. Next season Europa League will be different from this past one but will it be as interesting as this past one that was full of surprises.

I'm not sure Leverkusen will be able to maintain their unbeaten record. Because it is an extraordinary achievement that cannot be repeated. I can say it is almost impossible that any team will surpass Leverkusen's record in the future.

To maintain a record without defeat, I'm also not sure they will be able to do that, especially in the Bundesliga. The reason is that without losing in one season is a very difficult thing to achieve and especially if they maintain it, I say it will be 2 times more difficult for them to do. Even though this possibility could happen, in my opinion the chance is very small.

Appearing in the Champions League has also become an extraordinary thing for them, especially as they are also a club whose performance is awaited after they managed to play very well this season. So there will be many clubs that will try to subvert it. Honestly, I wouldn't expect much from them, such as becoming champions or at least dominating very dominantly in the Champions League. I just hope they can play well and provide very tight competition, especially when they meet a club that is considered stronger than Leverkusen. When they can compete or even beat clubs that are considered stronger, that is an achievement for them, of course they have to do it with consistency, not because they are very lucky.

Yes you are right the club still has what it needs for next season, they still retain their players and have a great coach who stays at the club so they must return to maintaining their good record last season and return to competing in the Bundesliga title race with Bayern Munich, very It was exciting to see the fierce competition between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich last season. I also didn't expect Leverkusen to be able to break Bayern Munich's dominance.
It is not a coincidence for Leverkusen because they were able to appear surprising by appearing consistently without losing.

Maintaining consistency is not easy because every club will definitely appear with different improvements, including Bayern Munich. They are trying to bring in many players to improve the quality of their game and want to win the title again, but that doesn't guarantee they can dominate again because Leverkusen still has a great coach with all the tactics.

Defending the Bundesliga trophy is easier than maintaining an unbeaten record, they will also compete in the League where the level of competition is more competitive because there are so many big teams there. Leverkusen's toughness will be tested in the Champions League, I'm not really sure that Xabi Alonso is able to help Leverkusen dominate in the UCL because it requires high concentration and the players will be drained of energy when facing teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The time is no longer far for the league to resume but I don't think anyone is expecting the Bayer Leverkusen team to do the magic they did last season by playing unbeaten till the end of the league this is because the task ahead for them next season will be more compared to last season and the performance of Bayern Munich who happens to be biggest opponent will likely get better since they have a new younger manager Vincent Kompany.

Bayer Leverkusen will be looking forward to defending the league title and they will be more focused on advancing further on the Champions league while they also battle to win their league so I don't think they will have issues if they do well last season and win trophies even without losing some games in the league.

Yes they will play in the UCL next season. It is the highest level competition in Europe and even the world. Xabi Alonso is a genius coach but I, like you, don't believe Leverkusen will dominate the UCL. I don't doubt Alonso's quality but I think we can all agree that actually Leverkusen's players are of average quality. Alonso's genius with his tactics made them succeed in surprising the world. But Atalanta showed their weakness, the high press man-to-man marking tactic made Leverkusen fail to develop their game. This can be done because leverkusen players will have difficulty in 1vs1 because they don't have good individual skills.

This season Leverkusen has shown quite good performance in the European league even though they failed to win it this season, as well as the domestic league which they have managed to dominate this season, but from another angle we also cannot deny that the success and revival of Leverkusen this season cannot be separated from the poor performance of Bayern Munich and several other teams in the league, leverkusen this season has shown their incredible consistency at the time, but I think next season is certainly doubtful if next season they will be able to repeat their glory later, because for now other teams in the league are starting to improve the quality of their squad.

the European league and the champions league have a very different atmosphere and of course also have very tight competition, so it is likely that Leverkusen will be very difficult to compete with other strong teams next season, currently the only way for Leverkusen to remain able to show their best performance is by adding and improving the quality of their squad to be able to compete next season.

Bayer Leverkusen last season had their best season in the history of the club but another thing that helped them to remain at the top of their game was because of the fact that they were playing in the UEFA Europa League which is a lower league that comprises lesser top performing teams than the UEFA Champions League competition. Next season, they'll be playing in the UEFA Champions League competition and maintaining their records of last season I think will be almost impossible for them because in the UEFA Champions League competition, they'll face the strongest clubs in Europe like Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germaine, Manchester City, Inter Milan Atletico Madrid and so many others clubs that will pose much better threat than the teams they played against last season.
In their league, many people believes that the appointment of Vincent Kompany by Bayern Munich have increased Leverkusen's chances of retaining their league title come next season since the Belgian haven't won any trophy in his managerial career. Whatever be the case next season, I don't expect Bayer Leverkusen to have an almost perfect campaign they had in the just concluded season

Hopefully Xabi cool hands will still work well next season, so that he can bewitch all Leverkusen players to perform optimally, and we will enjoy their journey full of surprises again. It must be admitted that defending a trophy is much more difficult than winning it, it is definitely not easy, and Xabi is well aware of that.

I think Leverkusen will have difficulty maintaining their unbeaten record, but they will try to collect more points than Bayern. Apart from that, the real challenge is in the Champions League, which is a competition that will drain their energy and focus more than the European League. However, we are all certainly very entertained by their performances in all competitions.
However, one thing is certain, Leverkusen will no longer be a participant in the Europa League next season, the achievements achieved in the Bundesliga have earned them a place to play in the Champions League. Leverkusen's journey this season is beyond everyone's expectations, Xabi Alonso succeeded in making Leverkusen an unbeatable team in the Bundesliga. However, Leverkusen beautiful journey stopped in the Europa League Final after being beaten by Atalanta and this was the only defeat Leverkusen experienced this season.

Just like last season, all the players Leverkusen had are still intact and have not been transferred or moved to a new team currently so they still have the probability to be able to still get to to win the league title again this season of hey are committed to it, especially with Xabi Alonso been their head coach at the moment, if they are able to maintain the ssema consistency, in the bundesliga they may not win the league title, reason been that the tactics they used last see will be studied by other teams and they'd will be able to know how to tackle them in the new season such that they can not bbw able to get all the same results they got at the beginning.

They will have to improve and probably changed tactics and strategy Less they stand a chance to not be able to achieve same results they got last season as now they have got more attention than they have had last season and playing against them knowing they retrained the same coach and players will mean taking them more seriously and Atlanta was the only team who won them.last season so there's a lesson to learn from Atlanta and Also there's this mistake Atlanta exposed of Leverkusen all of which Leverkusen will have to work on to be able to stay ahead in the game if they will want to still win and be at the top of the league and win the league title again.
