it was a test to the France side that they needed to overcome after they lost 3-1 to Italy in Thier opening game fixture on Friday. Though they made a lot of changes to the team including benching mpabe in this game, it's still rewarding that they've still won against a tough opposition like Belgium. At the start of the game, Belgium was gaining complete dominance of the game and it almost looked as though the grace team would witness another defeat but somewhere along the way, they still managed to get themselves into the game. Kolo Muani 29th minutes goal gave an obvious impact in the game and after dembele doubled it few minutes into the second half, what was just left was for France put effort in keeping a clean sheet till the end of the game. It was joy all over the face of mbape sitting on the bench and seeing his team doing too well on the pitch. Even though he was subbed in later in the game but didn't score for his home country, it was still a rewarding outing to get all three points against a tough team like Belgium with Kevin debruyn who had a frustrating evening.

yesterday Italy played excellent football which has proven to be excellent in view of the next World Cup, Sparletti has decided to leave some certainties at home to bring home some young people who are playing excellent football so in view of the next matches there is it's confidence and the World Cup qualifiers are getting closer and closer

Honestly, I was annoyed with the performance of Belgium. Shit, they play like absolute shit. Can't conduct a good pass without it being intercepted by the French and at some point it looked like they were deliberately making passes that won't go through cause I refused to understand how a team who where thrashed 3-1 could become coordinated and defeat them and maintain a clean sheet as well.
 Belgium are not a team I'd call strong again and even though they are ranked 3rd in the world, nothing is coming out of them.

Although they did not play well against Italy, the French players did not make any mistakes against Belgium. The team performed well against Belgium and won. France's forwards and defense were both weak against Italy. In the match, the French players could not create too many attacking opportunities. At the same time, the defenders are not playing well either. France conceded three goals and scored only one.

But the French players have performed very well since the beginning of the match against Belgium. France continued to try to score from the beginning of the match. France won this match because of the change in the match strategy. The France squad is strong. They have the ability to break any defense if they play attacking strategy. Yesterday's game was a really great game, Kolo Muani from France scored a great goal in the first 29 minutes, that goal was a really great goal, Kolo Muani's first goal was really an unsupported goal, Because another France player from the side shot for goal, and after the goalkeeper blocked the shot, the ball went to Kolo Muani's feet and immediately Kolo Muani scored the first goal with a super shot..

Although yesterday was suppose to be a very tight and tough game between France vs Belgium but the visitors (Belgium) couldn't make the game to hard to decide instead they lost without getting a goal, hope this clash of the Titans (Netherlands vs Germany) won't end like that of the France Belgium game.
I can't really say who's is the best in this game, both teams have been extremely wonderful and the way they move is quite different from how they were about 4yrs back and this is the best I can say I have seen from both teams, they both have young stars that are eager to show more of themselves in the attacking department, even the bookie can't give any of these teams a much higher odd than the other.
If I'm to pick a winner, I'll go for Germany because they are more reliable than the Netherlands not that the host are not good but in terms of getting the job done I'll settle for Germany and they're faster than the host. The front line of Netherlands are not as flexible as the Garman machines, in full time we might be seeing a 2-3 win in favor of Germany no draws tonight between these two.

Interesting games last night I must say. I followed up with the first half of the France vs Belgium till the very first goal that was scored. Kolo Muani was just at the right place and at the right time to score the rebound. I was curious on why Mbappe didn't start the game, because Kolo Muani was poor when it comes to playing onside with the opponents defense. Truth is, Belgium really dominated the game for a while, but they failed to convert two good chances that I felt could've been possible. Even after conceding two games, they kept their heads in the game, trying not to make the whole 3 points a easy thing for the France team. And, I also noticed too many fouls from both sides in the early minutes of the game.

So, from what i'm seeing on the table, they've played two games, which I am not sure of the total number of games that each teams will play in every group (maybe 3), but it seems the international break is over for those who played yesterday, while today will be the last day for other teams that will be in action.

Congratulations to Italy and Norway. I couldn't publicly show my support for Norway yesterday, because I was scared that they might not win the game judging from their previous international results. My fear almost became a reality until Haaland had to do the job. Congrats to them. I also observed too many fouls in this game, and the arsenal captain happens to be on a receiving end. I wish him quick recovery ahead of the resumption of the various league.

In Group 4, Turkey had a great win against Austria, with a great result to currently top the points table. The goal difference is 3-1 between the two teams, although the Turkish team is very strong, and they have performed well, and they have won this match. Turkey is the strongest team in the points table of Group 4 in the UEFA Nations League, and they will definitely qualify for the next round. Turkey had the strongest attack against Austria and Kerem Aktürkoglu scored three goals in this match to really praise him, either brilliantly leading the team.

It might not have the same thrill as Euro cup but it's more balanced way of finding the best team in Europe. It has multiple leagues with option to promote and relegate and the knockouts too are two legged which makes it more fair and decreases the luck factor.
It also acts as the major tournament for qualifications in world cup and Euro cup so it also replaces world cup and Euro qualification matches. And most of all, it gives opportunities for each teams, specially the less popular ones to climb on the ladder gradually and play with teams they would otherwise never have played with.

I didn't see the opening minutes or the opening goal. Missed all of that action but joined in during the second half just in time for Dembele's goal. As soon as that goal went in, I knew that was the final nail in the coffin to put Belgium to rest. Since neither France nor Israel couldn't make Italy drop points, I think Belgium can make them do so next month for the next round of fixtures.


For this game, yes it paid off —hopefully it doesn't create a divide in the team because Mbappe feels like the kind of player that doesn't like to get sidelined and miss all the action even though he's not in his best form.

The way this game started I thought Belgium were going to get something out of the game. They were better than France in the opening 20-30 minutes and if they had gotten a goal then, the game might have turned out differently. They were not clinical enough and they got punished. A Belgium win would have given them a lot more chance of catching up to Italy who are in a blistering form currently. Now that France is on level points with them, I doubt they will be able to finish second in the group. There are still 4 matches to play so let's see as it goes.


Yeah, I was surprised a bit too because they needed to win this game but it's a good thing he was rested. He needs to be refreshed after playing a lot of games, I guess. Mbappe has not been at his best recently so resting him was a good decision. A gamble but it paid off.

If you compare him to some players of the same age as Cristiano then he does have an advantage because even at his age he can still maintain his fitness and compete with young players which is an amazing thing.

Although there has been a slight decline in Cristiano's form, it is only natural that he should not be the burden bearer for Portugal given his age but there is still no one to replace him on the pitch which makes it seem as though Portugal are always reliant on Cristiano and when defeats occur, it is Cristiano who is blamed the most.

The match against Scotland seemed to be monotonous as Portugal's possession was not accompanied by good finishing and chances were wasted here. If we look at the depth of the squad we can definitely see that the Portugal squad is a very luxurious squad in terms of players but poor teamwork makes things a little more complicated.

Definitely, Cristiano Ronaldo is still good. He is 39 years old Yonge his physical attribution is quite impressive. That's why he's performing so well, especially in international duty.
 
Cristiano Ronaldo performs in a better way in the national team Portugal. There will be no problem if he plays a few more years for the national team because his physical strength is showing that he can play more. So to be honest, if Cristiano Ronaldo joins the next FIFA World Cup, it will be a joy for football fans. And maybe he can become a champion. However, I also think that Cristiano Ronaldo's intention is until the World Cup and after that he will definitely think about retirement.

I guess that Galatasaray fans are even sadder about sending him to Benfica after tonight. Because Kerem Aktürkoğlu made a hat-trick against Iceland. I really liked Montella's choices this time. He did what he should have done much before. Replacing Kenan Yıldız with Kerem Aktürkoğlu made an immediate effect on team performance. This 3-1 win is really valuable for us after playing terrible against Wales. I hope Montella maintains the same system in future matches too. 

I still do not understand the whole point of this tournament just like all the others, it's boring and it has no attention or hype neither, there is no reason for it at all. We can't really keep on focusing on international games, we can't really consider this as something that will not be considering this as that good for anyone. Plus a lot of players end up getting injured as well, for no reason at all and there is really nothing that benefits the teams that pay these players salaries neither.

We should consider that this needs to be done in a way where we could consider this as a big trouble if we are not careful. I believe that the best case here would be just making sure that we lower the amount of games at least, because it's really boring.

Good to see France back to winning ways after triumphing over Belgium. I expected them to win but forgot to submit a bet on BcGame even though odds were priced as high as 1.81 at some point (and possibly more). Belgium hasn't been at their best in the last 5-6 years aside some lacklustre moments here and there.

Strange observation today — France started with Mbappe on the bench and he came in with less than 25 minutes of regular time to play. Nothing too biggie but feels weird seeing the France captain on the bench while Kolo Muani and Thuram gets a start.

Romania beats Kosovo by 3-0, Kosovo trashes Cyprus by 4-0, Cyprus beat Lithuania by 1-0, so obviously...

Belgium has always seemed to me as one of the most overrated teams out there, they always start with high promises and fail to deliver, so I think the odds are spot on, of course, they can play way better than that and produce surprises but more often than not they fail to deliver, also they just got beaten by France less than 3 months ago.

Belgium are not giving that energy to get back at France, both teams are not that impressive, losing balls from both end. Belgium on the other hand haven't been stable with the ball and we haven't seen much of Doku and it seems like the midfielders of Belgium are not doing their job by controlling the ball. France without Mbappe in the first half haven't been bad, they played without any sign that the big man is not on the pitch. I hope the both teams bring out those hidden players to make the game more interesting, Lukaku need to come in to help the Belgium national team in the second half because they haven't been perfect in the first half in front of goal, still stand with a draw in this game.

I really like the seriousness that both teams are putting to the game, it is just a nation's league, but it looks like a World Cup semifinals. Belgium should have scored because they dominated the game at some point, but France took the opportunity when they had it and will also be looking for more opportunities in the second half to ensure they win this second game after that embarrassing first game loss. Italy who gave France the defeat, are already winning in their own game against Isreal. Nobody doubted that of course.
